It was a great location to many outdoor activities, everything was clean and the kitchen was stocked with all the essentials you would need. We enjoyed the property and would stay here again!
This listing requires to be updated and include the following: This rental is a Multi-Family Duplex Town-house, 2 bedroom, 2 bath, 2 story unit. The hosts live in the adjacent unit. Additional blinds/curtains need to be added for extra privacy. Especially to the block glass picture window in the kitchen/dining room area. Both bathroom fans were extremely loud and require to be replaced/updated.Rental unit was polished clean and inviting. The electric fireplace set the ambiance for a romantic dinner for 2.The view out the kitchen/dining room block glass window was of the hosts RV roof.Loved watching the Mule Deer walk down the driveway to drink from water from the bird bath, fantastic photos. The balcony has enough room for 1 person to move about but offers great views of the area.Watching the mule deer walk up and down the streets was a major bonus and fantastic photos.
This lovely, cozy home is well-maintained and centrally located. The hosts were very gracious and welcoming and provided a wealth of information about the surrounding area.
Property was wonderful. Everything you could possibly need was available. Very clean and perfect location to Garden of the Gods and old Colorado Springs. Great communication with hosts. Highly recommend!
The facilities are impressive and beautifully done inside and out! The kitchen has everything one would need. We loved the guest wine stash idea. The location is very convenient.
This is a very high-quality VRBO. Communication with Marcia was great as VRBO was having some glitches. Checking in was a breeze. The neighborhood was beautiful and eclectic and truly walking distance to multiple entrances to Garden of the Gods. Also a stone's throw from both Manitou Springs and Old Colorado City. Close to groceries and MANY restaurants. Every room was very clean and well equipped- the kitchen had things like spices, coffee filters, and of course all the pots, pans, dishes, etc. FREE snacks and water bottles provided. Beds very comfortable and my 6' 5" husband LOVED having a king bed available. Overall recommend 100%. (Two things to note: 1) it is near a horse stable- if you are sensitive to natural horse-related smells that could possibly be an issue. My daughter rides horses so we thought it was great. 2) The unit appears to be technically a duplex/one half of a house. While we hadn't picked up on that from the description, it did NOT effect our stay - the entrances are actually on different streets and we never crossed paths with others or heard anything from the adjacent unit. But worth noting if that matters to you.
Couldn't be happier with our stay at this property...it was secluded and quiet yet VERY conveniently located to major attractions. It was beautifully appointed, super clean, and management was very responsive to questions. My husband and I enjoyed sitting on the patio, sipping coffee in the mornings and enjoying the peace and quiet. Unfortunately the only photo I got of the property is a pic that my husband took of a bird that was perched on a bird statue on the patio, we thought that was kinda cute :) Can't go wrong with this property!
Exceptionally clean and comfortable stay for a week in Colorado Springs. It was rainy, so we ended spending a fair amount of time inside waiting for breaks in the weather for hikes. Kitchen was well stocked and host was very responsive. I would definitely recommend!
Perfect secluded place for our weekend visit to Colorado Springs. House had everything we needed, and was cozy and comfortable. We did not want to leave. The scenic views were amazing and so close to Garden of the Gods and Manitou. Directions and instructions were clear and simple. We are definitely staying here again.
Property exactly like pictures. Cozy, comfortable and quiet. Loved the turkish towels in bathrooms. Kitchen fully stocked with ample pots and pans, dishes, utensils and more. Easy drive to Garden of the Gods, Old Colorado City and the Cog Railway to Pikes Peak. Royal Gorge about 1.5 hrs away. Host provided binders that listed atttractions and places to eat. Very helpful. Got to meet host, Marcia, in person. Very charming lady. Saw two mule deer walk by, enjoyed seeing the trail riders leave the riding stable across from the property. Special bonus was an assortment of snacks upon arrival. They were pretty much demolished by the time we left. We didn't want to leave and would return. Highly recommend to others.Cindi and Colleen (Missouri)
Characterful property, felt right at home there. Well equipped kitchen and quality furnishings.Peaceful spot with easy access to Garden of the Gods, Pike's Peak, OCC and Manitou Springs. Lovely attentive hosts were very helpful and supportive after we had a bad car accident.
Beautiful accommodations close proximity to Garden of the Gods and Manitou Springs, which is a must see. Host was receptive to any needs that came up, hoping to return in the future at some point.
My husband and I came from IN and my brother & his friend from Florida to visit our Aunt and Cousin who moved to CO 50 yrs ago. This home was perfect for our stay! It is a lovely place, and our host provided such special perks. Everything we needed, including fans in the closets. I fell in love with the makeup remover clothes! Everything was great and when we visit the area again, I hope this home will be available so we can stay here again. Thank you for your hospitality!A place to stay and so convenient to everything we wanted to see.
Loved the place. Great location, nice property with everything we needed. Easy to get to Garden of the Gods, Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs, you name it. Quiet neighborhood too. Had one small issue and the owners squared away within an hour. 10/10 would stay again!
We are from the midwest but have lived in Colorado long enough to consider ourselves semi-natives. We love Colorado's climate boasting an average of 247 days of sunshine a year, the mountains, hiking, skiing and the great outdoors with all Colorado has to offer!
You can watch the horses go by from the yard. A short walk to Garden of the Gods Park! Close to many attractions including Manitou Springs and Pikes Peak. It's not unusual to see wildlife.
