Relax at this funky and spacious cabin close to Colorado Springs. Enjoy the peace and quiet of the forest, surrounded by nature and wildlife. Our chalet also has a hot tub, grill, game room, and more. At the base of Pikes Peak Highway, this cabin offers the classic Colorado experience. This is a perfect spot to unwind after a day enjoying everything the area has to offer like Garden of the Gods, Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs, or Pike's Peak.
This place was adorable and our kids LOVED the game room. Communication with the host was great and the place was very clean. Very close to Pikes Peak and Santa's Workshop. It was perfect for us! Would absolutely stay here again.
The overall stay was nice! Perfect location for where we needed to be. The house was clean & spacious enough for us. The grandkids & adults enjoyed the game room! My only negative is the driveway. It was tricky. It could use some gravel which would make it easier for in & out.
This was our Christmas gift to our kids. We were at the property for four nights. We loved it. The game room was a hit with the kids and we spent a good portion of our time in the house playing ping pong, fuse ball, and arcade basketball tournaments. The house was a located in a picturesque neighborhood. The convenience to Manitou Springs and Colorado Springs was super nice. We spent half a day in Manitou Springs at the penny arcade and just walking up and down Main Street, hitting up all the shops. This was a great experience, and a property we will probably come back to.
This was the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of Colorado Springs. Not too far away to make traveling to excursions difficult, but very quiet and serene for unwinding after a long n day
My group of friends had an amazing stay at the cabin! The location was perfect, a quiet and secluded neighborhood but very close driving to colorado springs and other cute mountain towns in the area. We loved the hot tub and being able to cook in the fully stocked kitchen. Would definitely stay again if I'm back in the area! We didn't have any trouble with the driveway but I can see how it might be tough if it was snowing.
We had a great stay here. The beds and linens were comfortable. Nice -peaceful neighborhood, and close to many places we were going to. The grandkids loved watching the deer and squirrels!
We enjoyed our stay overall and would recommend it to others. The house met our needs with several kids and two families. The location was perfect for us to enjoy the zoo and Garden of the Gods. We enjoyed the games in the garage. It snowed a bit the day we arrived and froze over on the driveway so we could not get the minivan up the driveway until the following day when the ice melted so just be aware of that. The complaints we had were the hot tub did not stay a consistent temperature. And we struggled with the thermostat upstairs. It didn't seem to respond to us trying to change the temp so some days it was way too hot while others it was quite chilly.
This house was located very close to all of the places we wanted to visit. The neighborhood was so quiet and peaceful that we were able to see deer throughout our stay! The hot tub was very nice after a day of hiking. The survey the owners sent out after our stay was a great touch!
Wildlife and peace and quiet! We loved being in the trees, and feeling like we were a part of the wildlife. Deer roamed freely and nibbled leaves all throughout the propertyâexcellent bird watching on the back deck. We truly enjoyed our stay.
This cabin was lovely and nice. We really don't have any complaints. Everyone enjoyed the stay. Nothing was broken, useless, or hard to operate. What we loved was the location of the cabin, it was perfect, 10 mins away from all the cool and awesome things to do in that area of Colorado. I'm definitely recommending this cabin to all my family, friends, coworkers, etc.
The house had such great energy! It was clean, welcoming, and cozy. The hosts were over the top, making sure our stay was what we needed. The views of the mountains on the way to the cabin were wonderful. We stopped by the Pickle Shack and had a great conversation with the owner. We also enjoyed the wildlife strolling by as we sipped our morning coffee. Pictures don't do the overall experience justice.
The house was very cute and very clean. It had all of the items needed for a short get away. The hosts were very responsive and let us even check in a few hours early. The only constructive criticisms was that there was a slight smokey smell and some of the baseboards and other finishing features of the home were missing in certain areas. Thank you for letting us stay!
We overall enjoyed our stay. It was close enough to all the Pikes Peak area attractions yet far enough away to provide a quiet retreat. The property fit our family of 5 well. The kitchen was stocked well with the necessary pots/pans where we could easily make some meals there. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had and checked in with us throughout our stay. The one word of caution was that the gravel driveway was steep and had ruts and washout. It was a challenge to climb with our minivan. I would recommend an all-wheel drive vehicle.
I liked the quiet in the wooded hillside. The deer and birds and nature was neet.
However, the beds were uncomfortable and the showers leaked. The main reason for getting the place was because I have allergies to pets and I was told they weren't allowed. I showed up and two dogs came out of the house with the cleaning lady. I had to take allergy pills through out the stay. Not very clean
It was a nice area to stay where we were able to see deer in the morning (which the kids loved) and enjoyed the spaces. The hot tub wasn't working while we were there, but the management team was responsive regarding it. We did spend more time outside of the home than in the home and the time we were in the home was really nice. The kids were able to play in their game room which is in the garage (I believe the listing says basement which they don't have a basement. As we are from the north and a basement is below the house. So maybe just a different definition of basement.)
Overall we enjoyed our time there and would have no hesitation to book the property again in the future.
The property owner is very communicative, checking in after the first night and prior to departure. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and made good use of the hot tub daily. It is a nice addition to the property and we enjoyed watching the deer roaming in neighboring yards while relaxing. I recommend bringing flip flops if planning to use the hot tub. The driveway is steep, as noted in description, so be prepared to back up/down a bit of a grade. A few minor issues were noted, including a broken piece on hot tub, a missing remote in master bedroom, loose tile in downstairs bathroom. All were relayed to property manager, who voiced he would be resolving after our stay. The property was clean and mostly as pictured. A few upper kitchen cabinets were removed, likely giving the downstairs a larger feel. The bunk bed in the 2nd upstairs bedroom would be great for families with children, allowing several to sleep in one room. The location was great for visiting Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak. We hope to return someday!
