Flying Squirrel Getaway is a 1,050 sq. ft. remodeled cabin nestled among the trees, overlooking a peaceful meadow. Relax on the spacious deck, watch wildlife, or catch glimpses of private planes landing nearby. Enjoy ATV trails, hiking, fishing, kayaking, and horseback riding, then unwind by the fireplace or stargaze under the clear mountain sky. -1st Floor: Open-concept living area with a wood stove, TV, kitchen w/ eat-in bar, king bedroom, and ¾ bath.
-2nd Floor: Queen bedroom + loft w/ two twin beds—ideal for families!

PET POLICY
Pets are allowed downstairs only due to carpeting upstairs. A gate is provided to help keep your furry friend from wandering.

PARKING:
Upper Driveway: 1 parking space, accessible for any vehicle.
Lower Driveway: 1 parking space (4x4 or AWD required) in front of the cabin. Please back down when parking.
No trailer parking on-site. Public parking is available 1.5 miles away at the Strawberry Valley entrance.
NO STREET PARKING! Violators may be ticketed or towed—we are not responsible for any fines or towing fees.

Please review the following house rules. Violations may result in immediate termination of your stay without a refund.

Amenities & Supplies:
We provide toiletries, paper towels, clean towels, blankets, laundry detergent, cleaning products, coffee, tea, snacks, breakfast items, condiments, and firewood as a courtesy. These will not be replenished during your stay.

Trash Removal – Pack It In, Pack It Out!
All trash must be taken to the community dumpsters on your way out of the neighborhood. $50 fee will be charged for any trash left behind. We recommend disposing of trash any time you leave the neighborhood.

Guest Policy
This home accommodates a maximum of 6 guests, including children.
Visitors are considered guests. There is a $30 per guest, per night fee for the 5th & 6th guests. Unregistered guests beyond 4 people will be charged $100 per person, per night for all nights booked.

Septic System Guidelines
Only toilet paper may be flushed. No "flushable" wipes, paper towels, feminine products, or other items.
No grease down the drains—wipe pans with a paper towel and dispose of grease in the trash.

Parking & Vehicles
Upper Driveway: 1 parking space, accessible to all vehicles.
Lower Driveway: 1 parking space (4x4 or AWD required) in front of the cabin. Please back down when parking.
No street parking. Violators are subject to towing at their own expense.
No trailers on-site. If you’re bringing a trailer, contact us for off-site parking recommendations.

Winter Heating & Accessibility
Heating: Central heat must remain on at all times in cooler months, with a minimum of 50°F when unattended.
Snow & Ice Conditions: A 4x4 vehicle and chains may be required in winter due to snow, ice, and mud. We are not responsible for power outages, Wi-Fi disruptions, or weather conditions.

Pet Policy
Maximum of 1 dog per stay ($50 pet fee applies).
Pets must be crated if left unattended.
Pets are allowed downstairs only (no pets upstairs due to carpet). An indoor gate is provided under the stairwell to help keep them contained.
A poop scoop is near the front entrance, with waste bags under the kitchen sink—please clean up after your pet.
Service animals are exempt but must not be left unattended. This does not include Emotional Support Animals (ESA).
Unapproved animals will incur a $100 fee per pet, per stay.

Late Checkout Policy
Late checkouts must be approved at least 2 hours before checkout time.
Unapproved late checkouts: $50 per 30 minutes.
After 12 PM: Charged for an additional night.

Important Safety & Property Rules
This is a forested area—insects and wildlife are a natural part of the environment. Keep doors closed to minimize encounters.
Do not climb on trees, structures, or anything that could jeopardize safety.
No food, drinks, or pets on beds or couches.
Furniture may not be moved without permission.
Fires must be contained in the designated firepit, kept within its boundaries, and never left unattended.

Cleaning & Damage Fees:
Up to $500 cleaning fee may be charged for:
Body paint, spray tanning, nail polish, glitter, or smoking inside the home.

Long Stays (14+ Nights)
Stays over 14 days require scheduled cleanings every two weeks (cleaning is included)
