This is a wonderful cabin for a family. Itâs very quiet and had all the things you need for a relaxing stay. Communication with the hosts was great and they were fast to respond.
This house is perfectly located between Zion and Bryce. It is fully stocked and had full amenities. The home is stunning and located in a beautiful hilltop community. We saw wildlife daily. We had beautiful views and was very quiet. The hosts were welcoming and responsive. This is the perfect landing point for your National Park trip. If we ever have the pleasure of returning to the area we would book it again in a heartbeat!
This house is very convenient as it is situated between Bryce and Zion. We loved all the wild turkeys and deer that roamed through. It is one of our favorite places that we have stayed.
This cabin was absolutely perfect. Kitchen well stocked, very clean, quiet neighborhood, wildlife, incredible starry skies. Our kids are begging to go back. Will definitely pick this place again.
This property was a great 3 night stop for day trips to both Zion and Bryce Canyon.
Clean and roomy and lots of nature and wildlife right outside your door.
Me and the family had a blast, not just sightseeing but relaxing all day in the cozy cabin. Wifi didn't connect to the television on the last day but even then we had fun playing table games. We will return to this cabin if possible.
We had a wonderful stay (myself, husband and two grown sons). The cabin is wonderful, has great a amenities, and is in a great location to visit multiple National / State parks.
Plenty of space and great to come back to and relax at end of the day.
The drive to Cedar City (about 45-50 minutes on Hwy 14 a scenic byway) is beyond beautiful, and Cedar City is big enough to get any supplies/groceries.
The owners were great, and very helpful. Th cabin definitely gets a âtop marks A+â rating.
This cabin was clean, spacious and was stocked with everything you need for a wonderful vacation week. Very close to Bryce, Panguitch for groceries and ice cream (at the local movie theater đ)
The cabin has great views of the surrounding woods and sunset/sunrises. Up to date furnishings and everything you might need in the kitchen. No a/c, but honestly it wasnât needed, even in early July.
We were visited by a young mule deer and wild turkeys every night at dusk. Heaven!
This property was amazing. My kids loved it so much they want to move here haha. They even had a welcome little sâmores kit that we got to enjoy. Cabin was very clean. We loved the porch and fire place. I would recommend bringing condiments like ketchup and mustard etc.. paper plates and bars of soap. Sometimes we forget those things but they do have a store in town. Very close to tons of amazing hikes. We canât wait to come back soon! This will be our spot! Thanks so much for having us!
The cabin served as a great âbase campâ for our family to visit the surrounding national parks (Zion, Bryce Canyon, Strawberry Point). The cabin exceeded our expectations and provided excellent accommodations for my aging parents as wells as the young adults in our group. The owners went the extra mile with a few small touches that made us feel welcome and at home during out stay. The location is relatively remote which was perfect for us. We saw deer and turkeys from the deck. The owners were responsive to our requests and resolved a small issue in a very efficient manner. Thank you for sharing your cabin and providing an excellent experience.
We had a great stay! We arrived to hot chocolate and fresh flowers. The location was perfect between Bryce and Zion. The cabin was very clean and laid out well. We also loved all the wildlife in the neighborhood. We had a flock of turkeys that walked around and roosted by the cabin that we got to watch. We also saw elk and deer! Google maps got us right to the cabin without any issues. The only thing I didn't realize when I booked was that there are no king size beds, that was my fault for not checking. My son and husband are both over 6ft tall so their feet hung off the beds. I highly recommend this cabin for your next family getaway!
The house is large, clean, and well stocked. We had two adult daughters, our son-in-law and grandbaby. We visited Zion National Park, Cedar Breaks, Bryce Canyon, Kodachrome basin and the stunning drive on highway 12 through The Grand Staircase Escalante into Capitol Reef park. This home was our base camp for almost 10 days. The peaceful privacy was nice, and the deer & wild turkeys fun to watch when we weren't in one of the parks. The stars at night were stunning. Our hots bought two baby gates to help keep our toddler off the stairs. My wife & I stayed at this house 2 years ago with a similar great experience. Wonderful hosts.
Scott and Angela have created a perfect place to land in the scenic wonderland of Utah beauty. We were only lucky enough to spend 3 days here but could easily see how settling in longer would be preferred if you can. Kitchen is fully stocked to cook any type of meal and youâll find a nice supply of teas and coffee and cocoa. The bathrooms have amenities of soaps and hair appliances. Nice perk. The fire pit was a huge hit and adds to the ambiance of the experience. We were greeted by a flock of wandering wild turkeys when we arrived but they soon took off for safety - must know Thanksgiving is around the bend. Highly recommend for a glorious get away!
We loved our stay. The house was just the right size clean great deck and kitchen. Dishwasher washing machine dryer big advantage. Grilling on the deck was nice as well as sitting by the outdoor fireplace. A short walk to the end of the road also had great views. I would just let renters the aware that the loft room really does not have much privacy since itâs a loft and the bed is quite small. I think the house is perfect for a family with a master bedroom downstairs in the loft and bunk bedroom which is fun.Internet connection seem to be a little slow especially with the TV so that became a bit Of an issue. Another note that itâs about an hour and 20 minutes to Zion Park and an hour to Bryce
I do recommend a one adventures ATV rental I would do four seater instead of 2 , 2 seaters. too much dust. And aunt Sueâs for sandwiches.
We were looking for a place to stay that is between the national parks and this fit the bill. It is located about 1 hour from Zion and Bryce. Other areas to see around it are Red Canyon, Cedar Breaks and Highway12 Scenic Byway. This cabin worked great and had plenty of room for our family with great mountain views, outdoor firepit and lots of wildlife to watch. The kitchen was properly stocked with dinnerware, pots and pans. All of the bathrooms had plenty of towels and toiletries. There is an indoor and outdoor fireplace. The only things that I feel the property owner needs to add is Kleenex in the bathrooms, TV's in all of the bedrooms and bath mats for walking onto when you get out of the shower. Some things for other renters to consider is that this is a secluded location, which is why it has amazing views and wildlife but it is also over 30 minutes from a major town like Cedar City. If you are coming through Cedar City I would stop there to get your groceries and supplies before heading up the mountain. Otherwise, there is a Country store and restaurants in Duck Creek Village (20 mins) and the surrounding towns on the way to Zion or Bryce will have a country store. Duck Creek Village also has ATV Rentals for all the trails around there. There are plenty of things to do around here to keep your family busy.
Our family is from the US and Europe. We have three teenage kids and currently live just a few hours away from the cabin. It is our home away from home and hope it will be yours too!
The living room offers incredible views into the forest. Who knows what birds, squirrels, deer, and other wildlife you may see from the window. Outdoor fireplace on the deck allow you to enjoy the ambience outside. A fire pit allows you to build a wood fire and make some delicious s'mores! There are other cabins nearby, but being on nearly 5 acres of land, there is no one right next to you. You can only see our two of our neighbors through the trees.
