Adorable property close to Main Street with tons of restaurants and shops and close to the water for breathtaking views. Amenities were plentiful and our hosts were pleasant and responsive. Definitely recommend!
This was the perfect place. Everyone had their own bed and there was a perfect backyard to spend time in. Only blocks from the water was ideal too. Would book again in a heartbeat.
I was there as a vendor for a festival minutes away and decided to take advantage of the opportunity by doubling the trip as a family getaway as well. The property lives up to expectations...clean, cozy and convenient. Great property for a small group of family and friends without feeling overly cramped.
We loved this cottage and the gardens. The location was wonderful. We were close to the ferry, docks, parks, restaurants and the train station. Bikes were available and the front porch was very welcoming. It was the perfect getaway for us and hopefully weâll visit again.
Stayed here with family while visiting family nearby and we LOVED this house. Small but so thoughtfully laid out youâd never notice. Every bedroom was well lit and had a mirror which we really appreciated as a group of women! Made sharing one bathroom a breeze. The kitchen was so well stocked with utensils, pots and pans, dishes, etc. and we were able to cook a few meals super easily. The backyard was lovely and we were glad we got to take advantage of it! You could tell that our host put in a ton of effort into making this a great place to stayâhighly recommend!
The house is perfect 5 or 6 persons. We had a family trip with my wife, my mom, son and niece. So all ages! And everybody was âwowâ with the house! Newly renovated. Very nice garden with fire pit and grill.
We stayed one weekend with a day trip to fire island. The house is a quick walk to the ferry. You can use the ownerâs cart, beach chairs, water toys to go to the beach. Just perfect!
What a beautiful stay in a beautiful cottage on Long Island. My husband and I were able to enjoy the home, community and all Long Island has to offer. We were able to play tennis, pickleball, play golf, visit family and friends and attend a family wedding and festivities while staying in such a beautiful cottage. The location was great and easy to travel to many Long Island places. Valerie and David were great responding to questions and leaving detailed directions for WiFi,etc. making it a true âhome away from homeâ. Thank you for giving us a wonderful two weeks that we will treasure forever.
Linnies Cottage is named after our Mom Linda who lived there for 25 years. It was her little slice of heaven. She took immense pride in her home and gardens and loved nature, the ocean and Mermaids as you will get a hint of with the decor. We have completely renovated and updated the house and gardens but still kept some if the things she always loved. We enjoy this little slice of heaven so much and hope others will too. From the peaceful morning coffee on the porch listening to the birds and spying a hummingbird here and there, to the starry nights out by the fire, Linnies Cottage always makes us happy.
