We stayed here for 3 nights over New Years Day. The location in town worked out well for us, being able to walk to the ferry early in the AM after our golf cart rental was over the day before. We also walked in town several times to restaurants and to the square for the big New Years Eve bash! The unit was clean and adequate living space. The negatives were that it is in an area that is a bit run down - although we felt safe. Lots of chickens around with roosters going at it from time to time, but you get used to it. The outdoor space as pictured is very overgrown, dirty, and mostly unusable. We spent most days out and about, so basically only slept at the unit, so it was adequate for our use.
Great property except for specific issues. They need a guestbook which includes the Wi-Fi passcode, and the keys for the outer doors. Probably also better locks for the inner doors. Many of us felt outright unsafe. They also need to advise guests to bring earplugs for all of the roosters on Vieques Island. Vieques is a great island, But you need earplugs for all of the roosters. Also, one the bathroom sinks leaked, but that was livable. The property had a lot of nice touches, like all of the little trash, cans, and all of the right places, it looks like it could comfortably slerp about seven people, three couples, and maybe a teenager.
