There are 2 living spaces and 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The third bedroom has separate outside entrance and also has another entrance into the main house as well. Nice covered patio with a grill. Very spacious dining room with huge table open to TV room for large gatherings. Kitchen opens up to the living room and living room can open up to the dining/TV room. Every room has ceiling fan and all rooms have TV. Covered parking for one vehicle. No houses in the back- green belt. Guest access. Have enough space to park 4 cars

This property is a good place to stay. The house has three bedrooms with a TV in each bedroom and two bathrooms in two of the bedrooms. There are two living areas with sofas and a recliner. The kitchen is well equipped with a stove, a large fridge and microwave. The best part is that the house is located in a gated community with great security. Totally enjoyed staying in this house.

We had no pets. There were no potholders but otherwise pretty well equipped kitchen. Disherwasher was inoperable but owners intend to replace it.

Although dated, the house was well maintained and very comfortable. All basic needs in the kitchen were available. Check in and check out were seamless and appreciated. Would encourage Keurig or similar pod coffee machine rather than the pot. However, overall a lovely stay.

This is our second stay in Dario’s house. We had a wonderful time. My wife and family friend stayed in the house, However, it served as the central hub for a group of friends who were at the rv park and hotel. Each night we hosted a dinner for 14 friends and the house was accommodating and comfortable. We all agreed that the house was great! The check in was easy. We hope to stay again next year! Dario is great host! He left information at the FOrt Clark Springs Gate to make our access easy. He comunicated instructions for checkin and welcoming us. Dario is responsive to our communication. His house is roomy and very comfortable, homey! We had our 2 dogs with us and they enjoyed their stay. You can't go wrong staying at Fort Ckark at 136 Airport Road.

Best Stay in Ft Clark

The house is spacious, well maintained, and very clean. We have rented this house more than once. It's very comfortable and its location in the resort is awesome. It's a quiet neighborhood full of friendly people. All of our communication with the homeowner was excellent. He is very courteous, polite, and accommodating. We visit the fort at least once a year and will continue to rent this home as long as it's available. Awesome experience.

Very clean place, enjoyed our stay again. Just a suggestion, you have no mixing bowls. Was making cup cakes so had to use a pot to mix it , I had brought my own pans and pot holders. For people to cook or bake, it’s hard when the pots are very old and odd sizes. They need to be updated and not equipped with baking pans etc. Easy check in and check out! Will definitely come back.

wonderful location with lots of wildlife roaming around. property is spacious, great for families. nice large tv room in back, plenty of seating inside and out. Host is very communicative. Pillows could use an upgrade, but then i have a bad neck so travel with my own. Our only issue was the spring/pool was closed /dry because of a drought, but that's not anything the Host can control. Already planning a trip back in Spring. Check out Julie's restaurant in Brackettville for delicious Mexican food!!!

Peaceful weekend

My family enjoyed our time here at this spacious house. It was furnished with everything we needed during our stay. All we did was bring food and snacks. We saw an abundance of wildlife and beautiful historic sites all over the fort. My morning coffee was blissful down time spent on the back patio. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for peaceful getaway.

Lady at the gate did not have my name for the VERBO, took a while as I didn’t have a number of the host to contact. Finally was given access to enter. Master bedroom gets hot, had to crack door open so air could circulate. Other than that enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful Home and Wildlife

We stayed in this home for a few nights and were just delighted. The home is comfortably furnished. The family room is spacious and we enjoyed playing games together in the evening. In the morning we awoke to a whole herd of axis deer just a few meters away from the back patio. They didn't run off as my wife and I enjoyed our morning coffee. As we left to go visit Kickapoo Cavern State Park (30 minutes away) we saw a bunch of wild turkeys. The spring-fed pool at Ft. Clark is amazing. It's our favorite place to swim anywhere in the world. -- We have been to Ft Clark a few times, but this was our most comfortable and memorable trip. We will definitely rent this home again for our next visit. :-)
