This 3 bedroom home welcomes you as soon as you walk in with breath taking views of Las Moras Creek right from the large living room window. Enjoy the fresh air and beautiful views right from the homes back patio. There is also an open loft upstairs which has two twins for more sleeping.
Unfortunately, our stay was condensed from the anticipated two days, to a total of two hours before we repacked and left the premisis. This property did not meet expectations. We encountered multiple large roaches in the bedrooms and bathrooms, and the overall cleanliness was lacking, with visible dust on most surfaces and floors. There was also no toilet paper provided, which made arrival inconvenient. Most concerning, the external door locks did not feel secure, which affected our sense of safety during the stay. The listing did not accurately reflect the condition of the home. Weâve reached out to support and hope these issues are addressed for future guests. This could be a great property with better maintenance and attention to detail.
I came out to visit my mom bringing my daughter and her two children to spend time with grandmother.
Had great weekend exploring the fort and visiting with other family members who also joined us
The house was perfect for our visit very quite and peaceful location.
This was the 2nd time we stayed and was just as great as the 1st visit! Fantastic property management and response to any little issue was taken care of so fast!
I stayed here for a couple of days for a business trip. The neighborhood is very quiet which I appreciated. The home is located at the end of the drive next to a creek. Lot's of deer to look at.
We enjoyed our stay again here at Emilyâs place. Check in was easy but the place was very hot. Only living room AC was on and up stairs was like a oven.. by the next evening the house was finally cool and comfortable. Encountered several creepy looking spiders, other than that we enjoyed our stay.
We were able to find this rental which comfortably accommodated everyone and had a lovely view of the Las Moras creek conveniently located of Ft Clark grounds and a short drive from our family reunion camp ground.
Very relaxing, would stay again for the creek view. Good choice for families with kids/dogs. BYO hair dryer, and cork screw, possibly batteries for tv remotes. If you are going to need large appliances ask before booking (dishwasher, ice maker/water in fridge, and washing machine not working this trip.
Booking this place was simple had no problems. Had a quick response when reserving. The place is beautiful and breathtaking outdoor view. There were just a few things that need improving. In the upstairs bathroom, the linoleum had a big piece torn out in front as you open the door. If we had children with us that wouldâve been a danger to them or anyone could trip and cut their foot if barefoot because of how the tear was lifted on the floor.
In the kitchen, the outlets along counter by the fridge did not work. We had put a roast in a crockpot that morning and left to Del RĂo hours later when we returned , we noticed it was still cold. Had to move it to another outlet and took longer for dinner that evening. The next morning was making breakfast and the microwave went out along with the outlets on that side of counter. Called the owner had a quick response, was able to locate the breakers and power returned to microwave and outlets.
Other than that we enjoyed our stay.
Loved our stay. Though it is a 30 minute drive from a grocery store it was a nice get away. The home is very roomy, and Emily was just a text away when we had any questions. Fort Clark Springs and the museum is in walking distance. I also loved having coffee every morning with the deer. Great host and great place to stay.
Emily's property was absolutely perfect. One of the best host's I've had. Communication was so fast when we needed a plumber to come snake out the water lines, had someone here within an hour! The property's kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need, beds are comfortable and living room is super nice to relax in after a day spent hunting or on the river watching the deer cross. Absolutely amazing private home.
We booked this stay for our work with the refugees at the Del Rio border. Due the nature of our work, everything was very unpredictable and the host worked with us on scheduling and even helped find properties to stay when everything was sold out. They are wonderful!
