Heartland Hideaway in the Heart of Owensboro

We’d like to welcome you to the Heartland Hideaway! This home has 2 beds, 2.5 baths and a pull out couch to comfortably sleep between 5 to 6 guests. Located in east Owensboro near a plethora of restaurants, markets, and things to do, you can experience the city life while enjoying the hominess of a quaint neighborhood. Perfect for busybodies and homebodies alike!

Our spacious home has one queen bed in the master bedroom with an attached bath and a spare bedroom with two twin beds and a separate bath, all located upstairs. The full laundry room is available for use, stocked with an iron, detergent, and dryer sheets.

Downstairs features a beautiful living space which has a flat screen television, books, board games and a pull-out couch. The TV has full access to Netflix, Prime Video, and a few other entertainment apps. We’ve also included a gorgeous dining space to seat up to six guests.

The kitchen is fully stocked with all the things needed to accommodate for cooking large dinners or just popping meals in the microwave!

There is a stationary bike located in the garage for those who love to hit the gym and a walking trail called “The Greenbelt” just a short walk away. Access to parking in the garage is available upon request.

We invite you to check out our gorgeous, fenced in, backyard while you stay! In the summer, the banana trees are in full bloom, and they give a tropical vibe. The fire pit, surrounded by Adirondack chairs, is available for use throughout the summer and fall. There will be firewood located in the garage, however if you use it, please replace it. Huck’s gas station is located just across Highway 54 and they keep plenty in stock

Stay here! We came to Owensboro to visit our grandchildren and this was the absolute perfect place! The house is comfortable, there was room to spend time with family and play games, and the kitchen was perfect for making a few home-cooked meals. The hosts have paid so much attention to their guests needs and comfort. Cannot recommend this place more!

I booked this house for the week of Thanksgiving after reading the reviews. It was pretty clean and had plenty of space for our family to visit us while we were in town. We were in town due to a family medical situation, and it was nice to have a comfortable space to visit. It was pretty well stocked except for no shampoo or soap in the showers. Luckily, it is located very close to a grocery store, and we were going there anyway. (I left some toiletries behind for the next guest). I would have given a 5-star if we hadn't slept terribly the entire week. The mattress feels like an air mattress and gave us both some aches and pains. There are no curtains in the rooms, so the sun wakes you up bright and early. No sleeping in on this vacation. Aside from being exhausted throughout the week, the home served us well for our family purposes.

Holiday World Weekend Getaway

We had a great stay. Plenty of space for our family of 5. We appreciated the cleanliness, decor, essentials provided, thoughtout design and furniture, quiet neighborhood. Only 30 mins from Holiday World, 15 mins from drive-in theater, and close to stores and restraunts.

Beautiful Home

This property made my trip so much better. The home was meticulously clean, well decorated, and in a safe neighborhood. I loved the amount of bathrooms it had so everyone had their own private space. The hosts really provided a great experience for my stay.

Warm, clean, and very cozy.

This place was very nice. Had everything we needed. The neighborhood is very quiet. Shopping is right around the corner. We would stay here again if/when we come back to Owensboro. Thank you so much for the great place to stay.

Half Marathon weekend

We were in town for the Wendell Foster Half Marathon race. Heartland Hideaway was probably the best place that we have ever stayed in. From the communication, cleanliness, location, and amenities, everything is first rate. We would highly recommend the Heartland Hideaway to anyone looking to stay in Owensboro.

Staying for a concert

Heartland Hideaway

This property was the perfect place to stay for our family. We took a trip to visit friends near Owensboro. It was my husband and myself along with our two kids (3&4 years old). Communication with the property manager was excellent and the house itself was newly updated, clean, had what we needed and most importantly we felt safe in the neighborhood it is located in. This location is close to downtown, restaurants and stores. I highly recommend this property.

I am co-hosting with my significant other, Christian. We live in Owensboro so when you stay in the Heartland Hideaway, we aren't too far away. We enjoy early morning coffee dates and spending time at home. We are very excited to welcome you to our gorgeous home!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Our home was chosen because of its convenient location and the peacefulness of a quiet neighborhood. Its located in a cul-de-sac of sorts so there's not too much going on around the home. Just a short drive up the main road, however, is a busy street full of shopping stops, delicious food and plenty of things to do to pass your time!

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

This neighborhood is so peaceful and it's easy to make your way around town. There's also a walking trail that runs the entire city, if your into biking, walking or running. It's located close to the hospital and also not too far from fun down-town activities! Owensboro is known for hosting the BBQ and Barrels festival, previously known as BBQ Fest, and ROMP which are both well-known and lots of fun. They feature live music and delicious foods that hold a special place in out hearts.
