Spacious Monthly 4BR 2.5 bath Oasis w/Private Pool

Welcome to Mauna Loa Retreat in Surprise! Whether you’re here for business or play—Spring Training, golf, NASCAR, football, casinos, spas—this home is your perfect base. Enjoy a fenced pool, grill, pleanty of lounging area to soak up the sun. Inside you’ll find 4 spacious bedrooms, 2 full baths upstairs + half bath downstairs, two living spaces (family room + living room), game room, and an entertainer’s kitchen with granite, stainless appliances, and full cookware. Washer/dryer, Wi-Fi, and cable sports packages included. Minutes to 303, I-17, I-10 and Surprise Stadium.

Rates & Terms
Monthly Rent: $4,200/month
Cleaning Fee (one-time, non-refundable): $700
Refundable Security Deposit: $1,500 (returned per terms after inspection)
Minimum Stay: 30 days
Bi-Weekly Cleaning Included: Our cleaners service kitchen and bathrooms every two weeks to help maintain the home and support the full return of your deposit.

Comfort & Upgrades
Home is fully sanitized between each stay; stocked with sanitizing products.
Pool recently refreshed; multiple umbrellas, working waterfall and pool light; evening palm uplighting.

New leather sectional, Queen bed in 2nd bedroom, and memory-foam mattress in the primary (extra topper in garage if you prefer softer).

Please use plastic drinkware outdoors/poolside (provided). Pool is not heated; thanks to the finish it typically stays ~80°F+ in spring.

House Info & Tips

Curbside trash/recycling: early Wednesday morning.

Check-in time can be flexible if there isn’t a same-day checkout—just ask.

Two owner/cleaning closets are locked; guests have access to the rest of the home.

Neighborhood: quiet, friendly; park/playground ~5-minute walk.

Luke AFB flight activities on weekdays can offer exciting flyovers.

Perfect for our small group!

I’m pretty picky about my stays and I can tell you this one was as advertised. It was a perfect size and very comfortable and CLEAN! We loved the outdoor space too even though it was too chilly to use the pool, it was nice to look at! Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect location, beautiful large spacious home

Big pool, yummy orange trees, well stocked kitchen. This house is well cared for, spotlessly clean. This house is in a great location right off the 303. We arrived late and the porch light was left on for our arrival. Will most definitely stay here again.

Large home in Surprise

Lots of space to gather with family, especially enjoyed the backyard even though it was early February so couldn't get in the pool. Definitely in the flight pattern for Luke Air Force Base, but didnt bother us. Beds were very comfortable.

Great spring training getaway!

Really nice property that was exactly as advertised. The house was great - 4 bedrooms upstairs and spacious living areas downstairs. The kitchen had everything we needed and the grill was put to good use. We even picked oranges from the orange tree to make fresh squeezed juice. The location is also very convenient to the Texas Rangers spring training facility, the reason for our visit. Lovely property. We would stay there again.

Fabulous family gathering

Our children and grandchildren were recently visiting with us in AZ. We rented this house for overflow of people we couldn’t accommodate at our home in Sun City West. The house was exactly as pictured with many amenities and good location. Extremely clean and well appointed with frequent communications from our host to make sure things were going well. We would definitely stay there again and think others would find it a wonderful place for a family vacation

Spring Training getaway

My three brothers, son and nephew had a great week on this property. The house had everything we needed. Very clean, well equipped and the location was close to everything. Spending time together with family, baseball and golf was enhanced by being able to stay on this property. Owners were great to work with and made every effort to make our stay enjoyable. Great House felt like home

We stayed for 4 nights in this fabulous house that had all the amenities and comforts of home. Kitchen had everything I needed to make fabulous meals. Everyone had their space and the outside sitting area and barbecue was just wonderful and to see orange tree in Arizona. This Californian was very happy. The smell was wonderful.

Comfortable stay

Very clean and neatly-decorated property. Quiet neighborhood. Pretty backyard with pleasant-smelling orange blossoms. Thermostat was tricky to navigate. Never could get the downstairs setting any warmer than 71 or 72, as it was cooler than normal in Phoenix during my stay and I was wanting the indoors to be a bit more toasty. Beds were firmer than I prefer, except for one of the 4 bedrooms that was less firm than the others.

A perfect surprise in Surprise!

This home was ideal for members of our PA tennis team to reside for a few days as we competed in the National tournament in Surprise, AZ. 5 of us shared the house, and other team members/spouses joined us for fun evenings there. The home is spacious: lots of room to congregate, or space for quiet reflection. The pool looked inviting, but was too cold to utilize. We loved the Tangelo tree and it's abundance of delicious fruit. Several mornings we enjoyed the outside patio, eating oranges, and watching the Hummingbirds. This home boasts easy entrance, comfortable and tasteful furnishings, and well-stocked everything. We would have appreciated mirrors in the smaller bedrooms and a towel rack in the shared bathroom. Other than that...perfection!

We had a wonderful week visiting my parents in the area. The house was clean and well-suited. The property had a number of thoughtful additions to make our stay more comfortable. Instructions for check-in/check-out were clear. Would definitely recommend!

Spring Break Oasis

Prefect accommodations for our family spring break trip with college aged children. NOTE: This house should also appeal to parents with small children. Only complaint - no heated pool. This seems to be a constant throughout VRBO homes in and around the area, so it is definitely NOT a deal breaker. We took mountain bicycles and the two car garage was an excellent benefit for securing expensive toys. The master bed room, large bathroom and closet were excellent. The common areas inside and outside were very attractive, new and "resort-like." We used the gas grill three evenings, buying fresh meats/poultry from Fry's (grocery) which was nearby. Bottom line - ZERO complaints! Excellent owners. Very responsive.

Month long get away

Enjoyed the the outside & view with pool. Orange tree was an added bonus. Owners were very attentive and easy to deal with. Very child friendly even though we didn’t bring any this trip. Had everything we needed! Highly recommend!

Very Comfortable Clean home

My son and one of his teammates stayed during Spring Training for 6 or so weeks. The home is very comfortable and far exceeded expectations,. Access to the house was super easy. The location was very close to the field and everything they needed. The beds were really comfortable. The house had all the amenities they needed. Kathy and Jeff were so accommodating. our dates changed a couple of times due to Covid protocol and they worked with us through all of it. We were able to schedule weekly house cleaning and the cleaners were also flexible and did a great job. Highly recommend! My son plans on staying in this home every time he is in Surprise. Thank you Kathy and Jeff for everything!
