Cette cabine a une vue boisée luxuriante et est situé près de la frontière parc national. Niveau principal offre un accès facile aux parties communes d'un salon avec un foyer au bois, TV et et DVD. cuisine et salle à manger entièrement équipée. Machine à laver et sèche-linge. Chaque chambre est une suite (1 King, 1 Queen) avec salle de bain privée et d'un jacuzzi. Chaque chambre dispose d'un accès terrasse. grande terrasse avec jacuzzi et meubles de jardin. Loft propose une table de billard et un coin salon, stéréo avec lecteur CD et salle de bain complète. Lorsque vous séjournez à Ski Run View ou l'un de nos propriétés pendant les mois d'été, vous recevrez un laissez-passer pour profiter de 2 piscines situées ici à flanc de montagne.

House could use a few upgrades but not deal breakers...understand owners have to make those decisions. Otherwise Mtn Laurel is a very good rental company to use. Beautiful Chalet Exactly as Pictured

The hot tub right there was also amazing we made great use of the wood and made fire daily. Those couches honest we’re the best. There are few items that could definitely be updated in the kitchen like the dishwasher and danny above stove. But to be honest these house was great and the check in and out process was easy. If you are looking for a relaxing chalet with amazing views, hot tubs, jacuzzi, comfy couches and lots of space this is the chalet for you. Honestly would love to come back. Now the only con is that the chalet is really up the mountain and I would be lying if every time I had to leave the chalet Or drive back to the chalet I wasn’t nervous. The drive up that mountain isn’t for the faint of heart. Even the driveway is so steep. There are so many times while driving the road is so small and no guard rails and two cars needing to pass. It was definitely scary.

The house offers many great features such as the stone fireplace, 2 person whirlpools in each bath, large deck and, of course, the reclining couches! If you are not used to driving the mountain roads, being up that high can be a little intimidating, but it does get easier and is all part of the mountain experience. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The chalet has everything you need to enjoy your stay. This chalet is very high up in the mountains and is worth the drive up! We stayed with some friends and they had the suite with the queen bed, we had the king bed. We found the beds to be very comfortable. There were MANY bear right outside at least twice a day in our drive and around the front deck. The first night we were there is was raining and the next morning there were paw prints on our truck doors. We were there the week of Labor Day. I will agree with some previous comments about the stove and hot tub. The stove burners 3 of them, didn’t fit properly so they really didn’t work well. The hot tub sloped to one side and was clearly not level. I would definitely suggest doing your grocery shopping before you head up again, the drive up and down is quite high, steep hills and a lot of turns. There is a small grocery store that has all the basics you could need about halfway up to the chalet. They also do pizza and will delivery to you. This came in real handy the first night after a 9 hour drive to the smokies. The view is beautiful, with a beautiful sunrise view. We would definitely recommend this chalet. It could use some updating but it is still a very welcoming comfortable chalet.

The cabins are plentiful, always clean and as advertised, the staff friendly and cooperative. A Narrow Escape

The thermostat had a note saying to leave it on emergency heat, the heat pump not working. The hot tub was really dirty, with tree bark and small limbs. The stove burners did not fit the stove openings. The refrigerator shelves broken. the kitchen cabinet very poorly painted. The road to the chalet is extremely steep and narrow. It has a nice view from the very top of the mountain and quiet. The size of the rooms are big and plenty of room. It would be nice if there was cable guide to know the TV channels.

Christmas Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property has amazing views, but I suggest avoiding food before driving up the mountain to get there. The chalet had a perfect layout, with essentially two master suites. However, the mattress on the king bed is not comfortable and the bed squeaks if you even breath, so I did not get a restful night of sleep during the whole trip. The chalet is in need of some general updating, as the discoloration in the bathroom makes the property feel dirty and the living area needs fresh paint, it appears their was a ceiling leak at some point. Since we were visiting at Christmas, it would have been nice to have Christmas decorations, but instead there was a pumpkin on the mantle, less important detail but something to consider in the future. The staff at MLC is great and I refuse to stay anywhere else when we visit.

A privacy fence for the hot tub might be nice or move it to the left side and problem solved. We would definitely stay there again but only during fair weather. Hills were extremely steep but the views were amazing.

Love Fall Colors

Reviewer Comments: Had a wonderful time enjoying the Smoky Mountains and the Gatlinburg area. This was probably our 5th stay with one of the Mountain Laurel properties over the last 10 years. We have always enjoyed their locations, and the office hospitality. The views from this Chalet are incredible, but the home itself, needs some owner attention. Kitchen appliances are worn. 8 chairs on the deck, only 4 had cushions, and they were all torn up. We went to store jackets and a couple of things in the entrance closet, only to find it crammed with scrap pieces of wood and a coffee table. It was unusable. The hot tub is out of balance and water has cascaded over a corner - rotting out the frame. The bedrooms, bathrooms, and living room, were all very comfortable. We did enjoy seeing several bears on the way up the mountain to the cabin. And we always enjoy Cades Cove and the beautiful scenery. We will return to Mountain Laurel Chalets, albeit not this particular location.

A wonderful week at Ski Run View

As it turns out we hit the fall foliage perfectly. Just like many times in the past our stay with Mountain Laurel Chalets was all we could have hoped for. The staff was friendly and helpful which also helped our stay go very smoothly.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First of all, I have been using Mt. Laurel Chalets for many year. The view of the chalet is beautiful you are high up in the mountains with steep roads. Definitely wouldn’t stay here in the winter. We arrived late evening, it was 83 degrees in the house. The thermostat wasn’t on... batteries had been removed. We used some out of a remote but then the air conditioning unit wouldn’t come on. My husband had to fix it. The cleanliness of the chalet wasn’t the greatest the couch had potato chips all over it. In one of the cup holders was someone’s dental flosser. There were checkers and potato chips swept under the rug. I almost tripped because of the heaping pile under the rug. A piece that had been taped to the dishwasher had fallen off. The layout of the chalet was nice. The kitchen was nicely stocked.

Crystal, we are sorry about the AC that was out when you arrived. We are glad that your husband called the emergency after hours number and we assessed that the drain pan had flooded and turned off the system. Once he emptied the drain pan, the AC was back up and running. Whew. Now the crackers and dental flosser in the cup holder of the couch is a total miss and we will definetly report that to house keeping as well as the crumbs under the rug! That should not happen and we are so sorry. The dishwasher corner piece is being addressed as well. Thank you for your repeat business and I hope next time we see you, we can exceed your expecations as that is our desire with every booking.

Can't Beat the Views! Bring EVERYTHING

Spacious living room, open floor plan. The couches are very comfy and my kids thought they were the coolest things with their reclining buttons and usb ports. Beds are comfortable, they have good pillows. The hot tub was clean (you can tell they treat it after each guest) and it was so nice to relax in there and look out at the mountains. The pool table was a fun addition, we played a round every night. Bring EVERYTHING! The kitchen is well stocked with cookware, silverware, plates, etc; but there is no salt/pepper, oils, seasonings. Bring toilet paper, you only get one roll per bathroom, and bring your own towels bc the ones provided are hotel towels and very scratchy. The kitchen is outdated, the dishwasher is SO loud, the oven/stove is old but works ok. The kitchen light flickers a lot, and when any other appliances were running it would turn off. Bathrooms need update too, and hopefully cleaned better. My daughter wanted to use the jacuzzi tub, so I filled the tub up and as it filled this orange foamy bubble stuff started forming all around the sides. We decided a shower for that night until I could get cleaning supplies and clean the tubs myself. As for the showers, the water pressure is great for being so high up and the hot water never ran out for my family of 4, but these showers are TINY. My son is 6'0" and had to bend down to wash his hair, I hit my elbows numerous times trying to wash.The hot water for the sink in the king suite has absolutely no pressure at all. One of the TV's wasn't working at all, and they brought a brand new one the very next morning. Very quick to fix that! The remotes are very confusing and need to be programmed again. Several electrical sockets were loose, when you plugged something up it would just fall out of the socket. Just needs some tlc and modern updates and new paint. But I think we're paying for location and view primarily. The view from this chalet is unbelievable! Truly breathtaking. It's close enough to restaurants, attractions, and hiking trails; but it isn't in a super crowded and busy neighborhood. The road getting up to the chalet is scary if you're not used to driving steep, winding,and narrow mountain roads. Use a low gear once you turn off Ski Mtn Road and go slow. If you plan on hiking go EARLY. The trails are so busy and you might not have a place to park for the trail you want. The weather was so perfect for us, rained only one day. We can't wait to return to the Smoky Mountains!
