Cette cabine a une vue boisée luxuriante et est situé près de la frontière parc national. Niveau principal offre un accès facile aux parties communes d'un salon avec un foyer au bois, TV et et DVD. cuisine et salle à manger entièrement équipée. Machine à laver et sèche-linge. Chaque chambre est une suite (1 King, 1 Queen) avec salle de bain privée et d'un jacuzzi. Chaque chambre dispose d'un accès terrasse. grande terrasse avec jacuzzi et meubles de jardin. Loft propose une table de billard et un coin salon, stéréo avec lecteur CD et salle de bain complète. Lorsque vous séjournez à Ski Run View ou l'un de nos propriétés pendant les mois d'été, vous recevrez un laissez-passer pour profiter de 2 piscines situées ici à flanc de montagne.

House could use a few upgrades but not deal breakers...understand owners have to make those decisions. Otherwise Mtn Laurel is a very good rental company to use. We did have a couple bear visits which was fun.

The hot tub right there was also amazing we made great use of the wood and made fire daily. Those couches honest we’re the best. There are few items that could definitely be updated in the kitchen like the dishwasher and danny above stove. But to be honest these house was great and the check in and out process was easy. If you are looking for a relaxing chalet with amazing views, hot tubs, jacuzzi, comfy couches and lots of space this is the chalet for you. Honestly would love to come back. Now the only con is that the chalet is really up the mountain and I would be lying if every time I had to leave the chalet Or drive back to the chalet I wasn’t nervous. The drive up that mountain isn’t for the faint of heart. Even the driveway is so steep. There are so many times while driving the road is so small and no guard rails and two cars needing to pass. It was definitely scary.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Absolutely loved this house! The mountain view is MUCH better than the pictures showed. We were shocked how beautiful it was. You can see all the way to Pigeon Forge. The Ober gondola ran at night and you could watch it coming up the mountain too. Really neat for the kids to see! It is a fairly steep winding mountain road to access this house. The driveway isn't too steep but only room for 2 cars and you have to back out, which was easy for me since I live in the mountains. "Flatlanders" may be terrified! It would be VERY challenging to drive to this house if it there was snow on the ground. I am comfortable driving in snow and I have 4WD, but I really wouldn't want to drive up this mountain in the snow. So keep that in mind if you book in the winter. We chose this house because of the proximity to Ober. We skied two days. It was only a 5 min drive to Ober. You can see the slopes from the house-that's how close it is. If I wasn't planning to go to Ober, I would choose a unit near the base of this mountain. The floorplan of the home was perfect for two couples. The daybed in the loft worked great for 2 kids. The loft has a full bath too so that was nice! The hottub worked great and was very clean. The house was very clean. Bed mattresses weren't wonderful, but slept ok. Maybe the owner can upgrade those one day. We didn't use either jetted tub, so can't comment on those. Shower water pressure was fine. Kitchen was large, and nicely stocked. There is not an ice maker (there were ice trays though) so maybe bring a bag of ice. There's a little store on the way up to this cabin for essentials and even some groceries. We didn't use the wood burning fireplace, smoke bothers allergies. The couches were very comfy and loved to charge phones with the USB slots on them. Washer/dryer worked fine. We took extra towels, but we stayed 3 nights and used them to dry off after the hot tub. There were 2 rolls of toilet paper per bath, so that was enough for us. Would stay here again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The chalet has everything you need to enjoy your stay. This chalet is very high up in the mountains and is worth the drive up! We stayed with some friends and they had the suite with the queen bed, we had the king bed. We found the beds to be very comfortable. There were MANY bear right outside at least twice a day in our drive and around the front deck. The first night we were there is was raining and the next morning there were paw prints on our truck doors. We were there the week of Labor Day. I will agree with some previous comments about the stove and hot tub. The stove burners 3 of them, didn’t fit properly so they really didn’t work well. The hot tub sloped to one side and was clearly not level. I would definitely suggest doing your grocery shopping before you head up again, the drive up and down is quite high, steep hills and a lot of turns. There is a small grocery store that has all the basics you could need about halfway up to the chalet. They also do pizza and will delivery to you. This came in real handy the first night after a 9 hour drive to the smokies. The view is beautiful, with a beautiful sunrise view. We would definitely recommend this chalet. It could use some updating but it is still a very welcoming comfortable chalet.

The cabins are plentiful, always clean and as advertised, the staff friendly and cooperative. This stay was their highest altitude place with a view over everything. 2 master suites, deck, hot tub, pool table, huge tv.

The only problems we had with the chalet was the tvs didn't work. We couldn't even watch streaming because the internet was slow. The house needs major updates. The pool table was missing some balls. A Narrow Escape

The thermostat had a note saying to leave it on emergency heat, the heat pump not working. The hot tub was really dirty, with tree bark and small limbs. The stove burners did not fit the stove openings. The refrigerator shelves broken. the kitchen cabinet very poorly painted. The road to the chalet is extremely steep and narrow. It has a nice view from the very top of the mountain and quiet. The size of the rooms are big and plenty of room. It would be nice if there was cable guide to know the TV channels.

Christmas Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property has amazing views, but I suggest avoiding food before driving up the mountain to get there. The chalet had a perfect layout, with essentially two master suites. However, the mattress on the king bed is not comfortable and the bed squeaks if you even breath, so I did not get a restful night of sleep during the whole trip. The chalet is in need of some general updating, as the discoloration in the bathroom makes the property feel dirty and the living area needs fresh paint, it appears their was a ceiling leak at some point. Since we were visiting at Christmas, it would have been nice to have Christmas decorations, but instead there was a pumpkin on the mantle, less important detail but something to consider in the future. The staff at MLC is great and I refuse to stay anywhere else when we visit.

A privacy fence for the hot tub might be nice or move it to the left side and problem solved. We would definitely stay there again but only during fair weather. Love Fall Colors

Reviewer Comments: Had a wonderful time enjoying the Smoky Mountains and the Gatlinburg area. This was probably our 5th stay with one of the Mountain Laurel properties over the last 10 years. We have always enjoyed their locations, and the office hospitality. The views from this Chalet are incredible, but the home itself, needs some owner attention. Kitchen appliances are worn. 8 chairs on the deck, only 4 had cushions, and they were all torn up. We went to store jackets and a couple of things in the entrance closet, only to find it crammed with scrap pieces of wood and a coffee table. It was unusable. The hot tub is out of balance and water has cascaded over a corner - rotting out the frame. The bedrooms, bathrooms, and living room, were all very comfortable. We did enjoy seeing several bears on the way up the mountain to the cabin. And we always enjoy Cades Cove and the beautiful scenery. We will return to Mountain Laurel Chalets, albeit not this particular location.

As it turns out we hit the fall foliage perfectly. Just like many times in the past our stay with Mountain Laurel Chalets was all we could have hoped for. The staff was friendly and helpful which also helped our stay go very smoothly.
