Spent 4 nights here on a whirlwind trip to see a concert at Red Rocks. The house is arranged perfectly for 2 couples and the kitchen is amazing! I spent most of my free time sitting on one of the 4 porches watching the chipmunks, prairie dogs and birds. The wildflowers are beautiful, however there are thistles right by the east porch that need removed before a child or pet gets hurt. Also, we were unable to use the outdoor dining table and chairs due to the tall weeds. Some landscaping would really help. Also, the couch is terribly broken down and uncomfortable. Our handicapped relative needed help to get up each time. Overall it was a wonderful weekend!
Beautifully maintained home and excellent experience!
We had such a wonderful time at this home! Everything was just as it was listed, the owner was very communicative and an easy check in process. The home was immaculate, in a beautiful location and had everything you could ask for. I would definitely come back!
What a perfect place to find rest & peace during a season of family transition!! A wonderful view of Pike's Peak and Aspen groves surround the beautiful landscape of the property. A great mountain retreat for making memories with our family. The host, Natalie, provided everything we needed for a pleasant getaway from the busyness of life. She was very quick to respond to inquiries. Natalie was also extremely quick to resolve any issues that came up as a result of a severe rain & lightning storm. We would absolutely consider returning to the Guest House of Kickin Aspen Ranch!
Sure! Here's a polished Vrbo review you can use:We had a wonderful stay at this property in Divide near Colorado Springs! The location was perfectâpeaceful and private, yet just a short drive to Colorado Springs. The highlight was definitely the breathtaking view of Pikes Peak right from the property. The home was exactly as advertised: clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The owners were very responsive and helpful, quickly answering any questions we had before and during our trip.Weâd absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of the Colorado mountains with the convenience of being close to the Colorado Springs.
My wife and I purchased a new puppy from a breeder in Colorado. I was going to bring my side by side and ride Divide Trails for couple days before going to Elizabeth Co. to pick up my new puppy. Before I knew it I had 3 friends wanting to go with their side by sides so we needed a bigger place to stay. I found this house just north of Divide and very close to riding trails so I booked it. The house is very nice and very clean and yes thatâs a big deal even for 4 guys on a man trip. Natalie was very helpful answering all my questions about the area prior to our arrival. We will plan another trip next year for riding only cuz we donât need another dog. Hoping to get the same house next year since it worked out so well for us this year.
The house is very roomy and comfortable. It is well off the highway, so you are very secluded. The views of Pikes peak are outstanding. If you want privacy, this is a great place. The beds are comfortable, there is ample room and the kitchen is very well stocked. They do have cattle, the cows are fenced in, but must get moved or something because there was some cow pies around the house. Didn't effect us. We enjoyed the place very much and would recommend.
Stunning views and a clean, safe, beautiful home allowed my elderly dad, teenage son, and me to have a perfect getaway for Christmas. Nicole was beyond helpful and so thoughtful to ensure our stay was everything we hoped for and more. Cannot recommend this place enough.
My 3 dogs and I enjoyed staying here to enjoy nature but be close to attractions close by. Enjoyed seeing deer outside bedroom window at dawn and chipmunks running around. Entire wall size mural painted by artist is beautiful so even snowed in you would feel like you under the Aspen trees in the mountains! Kitchen very large and updated with pretty much all you would need to make family meals. Tile floors great for pets! Hope to stay again.
Loved the house. Was in a great location. The aspens were beautiful and seeing the aurora was a bonus. Very clean, well equipped. Wish we had stayed longer. Plan on visiting again
What a great place to stay. Deer grazing in the yard morning and evening. Feels remote ,but it is close to everything. Super nice house. Can't wait to stay again.
The location is perfect and it is in a quiet wooded neighborhood! Beautiful scenery! We couldnât sit outside since the weeds were grown up around all the patio seating, the inside of the house wasnât as clean as I expected but the beds were comfortable and everything worked well!
We had such a wonderful stay, the house and views were amazing. The house was perfect in every way for our family. Cooking meals every night and enjoying the fire pit. So many cherished memories. The host was very hospitable. Our son loved playing outside and our daughter loved the scenery. We are very say to leave and will definitely be back. So much to see and do in the area.
Thank you for such an amazing stay.
Lovely mountain home in a good location for day trips. It was peaceful and relaxing. It had everything and more than we needed. A couple drawbacks were the aspens were spewing pollen which I had not experienced before in Colorado but thatâs not the fault of the home just the location. Also Iâm not keen on no choice on the insurance youâre forced to get to rent this. This was a first as Iâve rented many vrboâs. Overall nice property and lots to see and do fairly close.
We stayed for five nights and loved every minute. A summer getaway from the heat in Denver. So much do do in the area with hiking and a day at Eleven Mile
Resevoir. Deer visited some mornings and we loved the cows roaming around behind the fences in the woods. We will
Definitely return and SOON . The bigger house is great and makes for options for a family reunion Everything worked out so well. many thanks
We loved our stay at "Kickin Aspen" guest house. We enjoyed the country setting, very relaxing, with a big variety of local wildlife to watch close up. Natalie provided a very clean home for us, well appointed and stocked with all neccesities as well as unexpected extras. Thanks for such a welcoming, thoroughly enjoyable stay.
This was the guest house and our family and friends that stayed there were very comfortable. They enjoyed coming to the main house to join everyone with games and cooking out. It snowed on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, which, for us (Texas and Louisiana), was AWESOME! The house and the location were great. The land was filled with snow, as far as you can see. It was awesome and seeing the animals in the barn was great - they were so attentive! Our family intends to go back for another vacation, if the Host will have us.
The host was great - she was very attentive to our needs, especially as they came out to plow the driveways. I highly recommend this place.
Very clean, kitchen well stocked and accommodations very comfortable. Bedrooms were at each end of cabin allowing privacy. Very quiet and isolated yet close to Woodland Park and Divide, CO
