It brings to life that rare blend of modern luxury and mountain mystique only Colorado can provide. Add handcrafted sensibilities to this magazine-ready cabin and you're sure to fall in love. With nearby trails, quick access to local hot spots, and the ever-present Rampart Range viewable from the stylish deck, you can't miss The Baer's Den. Did we mention the hot tub?

If you are interested in an early check in or late checkout, please inquire on the day of your booking. We would need to hire an additional cleaner for $150.

We are now accepting dogs! There will be dog bowls, bathroom bags, and a leash provided for you during your stay. Please be sure to include your pet in your guest list when booking. If not, upon arrival we will be immediately requesting the pet fee.

Please read the following rules for your furry friend:
-- To protect the wildlife in Green Mountain Falls, we require your dog to be on a leash at all times when outside.
-- You must clean up after your pet outside and inside. If we find any pet poop around or in the property, you will be charged a $250 "pet poop pickup fee."
-- Please do not leave your pet unattended or alone in the house, unless crated.
-- Please do not allow your pet in the hot tub or on our furniture.
-- You are responsible if there is any damage to the property from your pet during your stay.

This Place is AWESOME

Quant cabin with all the amenities you could dream if. The cabin layout is awesome and most importantly the beds were so comfortable! I would say it is a pretty private place there are some neighbors mixed around but overall definitely a quiet peaceful retreat from the normal.city life. We will be back for sure!

Amazing Getaway

My wife and I absolutely loved this quiet, comfy, beautiful little Cabin! It was perfect for a few days to getaway and enjoy the mountains. We loved sitting out back on the deck drinking our coffee in the morning or nice glass of wine at night. My wife can be “picky” but she loved Jonathan and Kelly’s Baer Den! We will be back. Perfect for two people.

Beautiful property. We stayed the beginning of July. Even with no air conditioning, it was nice and cool. Everything that we needed was there. The neighbors are close but there is a lot of trees for that extra privacy. Neighborhood is very quiet at night. Very peaceful. It is small but nicely remodeled. Perfect for two people.

Central located GEM!!

Loved our stay at Baers Den! Centrally located to so many things to do. Property is truly amazing. Such a quiet neighborhood, easy to get too… nice parking area. House is great, has everything needed. Hot tub was nice for a relaxing dip each evening. Loved the open concept kitchen/living room. Bedrooms perfect & both comfy. Shower was nice as well, complete with heated floors. This is a great get-away home close to it all. Thank you!!!

This cabin is so beautiful. The owners have done a wonderful job making sure the cabin is stocked with everything you need during your stay. My husband and I truly enjoyed staying here and definitely will stay here again. Its in a great location and close to all of the hot spots in Colorado Springs.

Great place for a quick getaway

The property was exactly as described, with an outdoor hot tub and indoor wood-burning fireplace. Whenever I contacted the owner, he responded almost immediately. The location is close to Colorado Springs and the many attractions there, along with two State Parks within 1/2 hour. The property itself is in a residential neighborhood, but the other homes were far enough apart that it felt very private, and there were plenty of trees around to add to that feeling! There was a very ample supply of firewood left for us inside, and a huge woodpile in the back. The owners also welcome guests with a very nice bottle of wine and some snacks. We enjoyed our stay very much! The only thing to be aware of is that the only fireplace tool available is a poker. It would have been helpful to have some fireplace tongs and maybe a small shovel, which I did ask the owner about, but that didn't take away from our enjoyment of the property.

Perfect rental cabin for a getaway

If your reading this, just stop and click book. There really isn't much bad to say about the cabin except maybe there's only one restroom? So unless you're there with a bunch of people, it shouldn't be a problem, also it's accessed from the great room so it's not an inconvenience. The cabin itself is well equipped with pretty much everything you need to just show up and hang. Pots, pans, utensils, oil, salt, pepper, other spices, coffee, tea, dish soap, laundry detergent, traeger full of pellets, and wood for the fireplace. I mean everything. Our hosts were also gracious enough pt leave a welcoming kit with snacks and wine. You can tell they really spent some time and effort remodeling this place for short term rentals. The design and the transformation is amazing. We would definitely return to this cabin in the future.

AMAZING Cabin

The owners thought of everything!!! From a nice bottle of wine to coffee with all the fixins. Very cozy and clean. Very well decorated making us feel right at home with all the modern amenities. LOVED the hot tub and the patio with the gorgeous views of the mountains and even a few bear sightings. The proximity is perfect to all things Manitou ! This place is a perfect getaway. You will not be disappointed!

What a beautiful home! My wife and I stayed at Baer's Den for our Colorado Springs getaway. We could not have stayed at a better spot. The Godsey's made everything from check in to check out a breeze and were very responsive to questions. Do yourself a favor, stop looking at the pictures and book the house. You will love it!

A pleasent surprize for the size.

This property owner spared no expense, and creativity for this cabin. I was amazed of the comfort, and how they created the setup to support the size of this two bedroom cabin. I could honestly say I woundn't mine living in it with my Family.

Cool Mountain Get-away

This is a great place to get away from the heat! When we left Oklahoma the temps were in the 100’s. A week in the 60’s was a great break. Perched in the mountains offered cool temperatures and great views. Cap it off with a hot tub in the evening and it was a perfect stay.

Best vacation ever

Baer’s Den is the perfect cabin in the mountains with all the amenities we could ask for. We especially loved the hammocks and upstairs porch. Home is beautifully decorated. Loved the book illustrating the transformation from rustic cabin to luxurious mountain retreat. We will definitely be back!

Baer's Den was amazing! The property managers thought of everything and were super responsive. It's a beautiful home with amazing views in a very convenient location. A true get-away

Everything about it I loved! Especially the little touches, such as the wine bottle and snack bowl left for us as a welcoming gift. The view was amazing especially from the hot tub😉. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to relax and enjoy peace.

We purchased this property from a hoarder in 2019. Thousands of hours of blood and sweat later, we have completely transformed this place into a modern, luxury cabin while honoring the legacy of the former owner, Mr. Baer. Transformation and design is our passion. Come enjoy our best work yet!

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Baer's Den has been remodeled top to bottom with love and attention to detail. This bright, welcoming space gives you a sense of a home away from home with all the necessities to enjoy your stay. There is a flight of stairs to the deck, hot tub, and main living space. Underneath the deck, enjoy our shaded hammock chairs on those sunny summer days. Try your hand at smoking on our Traeger smoker/grill.

We are walking distance from the Mt. Esther Trail and a very close drive to many more. Colorado Springs is 15 minutes East, and Woodland Park is less than 15 minutes west. We are so close to many amenities and activities with a feeling of being away from it all! Pike's Peak Highway entrance is only 7 minutes away!

We also have a security camera facing the front door to monitor traffic. It is located outside and will be on during your stay.
