Delightful 2 bedroom in the heart of Montavilla. Just minutes to everything!
Charming 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath in hip Montavilla neighborhood. Great restaurants, bars, breweries, coffee and movie theater just a 3 minute walk away. Full use of space. Large yard with fire pit and views of Mt. Hood. Use of grill for summer grillin'. Easy access to downtown, 3 to 5 minute walk to three major bus lines that run late (one is 24 / 7). Close to beautiful Mt. Tabor Park. Office space with desk and printer. Dedicated coffee bar. I live in this property when not rented.
Great property. Large kitchen, large living area, two bathrooms. Very clean within a vintage property. Aaron is a great communicator. We hope the property is available the next time we're in Portland.
Aaronâs place was convenient to interstate and restaurants. We had what we needed and he was easy to reach. Check in and check out process was seamless.
Les points faibles : Communication, emplacement, exactitude de lâannonce
None of the pictures for the property indicated the bedrooms are located on the second floor. My wife and I have disabilities that prevent us from traversing the stairs. I did go upstairs once to see where the bedrooms were. My wife slept on the sofa and I acquired an air mattress that I slept on the entire stay. I saw a For Sale sign in the front yard and reviewed the Zillow listing. The house was originally built in 1894 and it was evident once we entered the property. There were piles of misc. items under the deck and I would not allow our dog off the leash in the back yard for fear he would investigate unacceptable areas under the deck. There was a sign on the AC unit upstairs that stated "WARNING! FIRE HAZZARD". If we ever choose another VRBO property to stay I will be much more diligent in reviewing the property in advance. It would also be helpful if property owners would provide the actual address of the property prior to booking the stay instead of waiting 2 days before the actual arrival date.
Had a great stay in Montaville and enjoyed exploring Stark, Belmont, and Hawthorne streets. Nice little bungalow had everything that we needed... great common area and kitchen, two separate bedrooms, and walking distance to fun. We'll be back...
Very clean, comfortable spacious apt. Conveniently located to local amenities, walking, etc. Very helpful considerate host. We enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately connection with VRBO was difficult to sort out questions about charges, payments, etc. VRBO website and customer support are frustratingly bad.
I grew up in upstate NY and moved to Portland in the mid 90's. I love Portland but I also love to travel. My goal is to give my guest a great place to have while they explore this beautiful city!
There is sooooo much to do here. Walk out the door and you have coffee shops, restaurants, bars, cute shops, a movie theater, Mt. Tabor park, and access to several very convenient bus lines that will take you anywhere in the city! And much more!
