Wonderful stay at this lovely house in Santa Fe. Well appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Close to everything. We would love to return again.
Love this home away from home. Located in a very quietwell-kept neighborhood, ten minutes from the Plaza and fine grocery shopping. The large, dream kitchen has up-to-date appliances beds are very comfy; ample closet space; patio a delight; variety of birds fun to watch at the feeder.(Wild Birds Unlimited nearby) The owner most responsive if needed.
Second year in row staying for full month of May. Everything excellent and enjoyable as described in VRBO property posting. Owner easy to reach and responsive.
Had everything we needed for a very comfortable 6 week stay, including everything we needed to cook, easy to work from home (note the large desk in the current photos is not there but there are multiple alternative options), incredibly convenient location-wise, excellent communication with host, issues were minor and addressed immediately, and we only wish 2 things were different: 1) that it would have been warm so we could have enjoyed the patio more, and 2) that we could have extended our stay!
This was a wonderful historic Santa Fe style house with everything needed for a long-term stay. The preserved atmosphere of a 1950 Santa Fe house but with modern updated and perfectly equipped kitchen was just right for comfortable stay.
We had a wonderful stay at this property for the month of October and would return and recommend highly. Thanks Lisa for everything- sad to leave but keen to return!
I enjoyed my month- long stay and wished the house had been available longer. Very comfortable beds- state-of-the-art appliances; huge television screen; convenient location in a quiet neighborhood within 5-10 minutes of my favorite food shops
This is a lovely, quiet home with just about everything you might need for a long vacation stay. It's clear that the owners put a lot of thought into the house and garden, and we thoroughly enjoyed our month's stay. We've previously rented a couple of other VRBOs in the Santa Fe area â those were nice, but this was better. The garden is a real joy, with several choices of where to sit out depending on whether you want shade or sun. We filled up the bird bath when we arrived and were treated to a posse of Cedar Waxwings almost immediately. Viewing the ever-changing garden birds was a great treat. The location is convenient for access to shopping and sights if you have a car. It's also walkable to some services, including a nice 1.5 mile trail along the acequia to the railyard farmers market, but you do really need a car for most things. We worked (remotely) for part of our stay, which mostly went well, but the desk and chair shown in the office is no longer there, so you may need to improvise a set up that meets your needs.Altogether, we had a great time and we're looking forward to coming back.
We had 3 adults and 2 kids, and this home was great. The back yard and patio were amazing, loved the fireplace out there. Fast internet was nice- the only things we missed were TV and a microwave.
We had a blast hiking at Bandalier and the ski basin, and Trader Joe's was right around the corner from the house. This is a beautiful house in a beautiful town, highly recommend.
Absolutely lovely house! Felt like home right away. The location made exploring Santa Fe and surrounding areas very easy. We loved our mornings and evenings on the patio watching the birds. The separation of the bedrooms made it perfect for two couples. Lisa was very responsive to our inquiries and we will rent from her again if we head back to Santa Fe.
We loved the house right from the start, has very nice curb appeal. The home has old fashioned southwestern charm but with all the modern updates that made us feel comfortable. We loved and enjoyed the outdoor space and enjoyed our meals on the patio. The neighborhood is also very nice, we enjoyed walking around the neighborhood. We highly recommend this home and we're hoping we will return -- soon!
Clean, airy house 10 minutes from Plaza, 5 minutes from numerous good restaurants;; tastefully well-furnished; quiet residential street; spacious, enclosed, landscaped yard and shaded patio with lots of birds, deck chairs, table and sun umbrella; well-equipped kitchen; comfortable beds and bedding; excellent communication and response from owners. Have booked again for next year.
My family rented this house for 30 days. The house is in a convenient location, CLEAN and in a nice quiet neighborhood. The beds and pillows were all very comfortable (1 bed is on the harder side but some people prefer that). The kitchen is stocked with anything you would need to make a gourmet meal. The yard is amazing. There are multiple place to hang out. My favorite things were the porch swing, the patio with lights and an outdoor fireplace and the library. This house has the very best selection and most books I have ever seen in a vacation house. The only thing I would change about this place is some of the outdoor furniture is a little rickety which is a pretty lame thing to complain about but itâs all I had to complain about for the review. I would recommend this house and will book again next time Iâm in town!
The owner was easy to communicate with. The home is in a quiet neighborhood, which was nice. The bike trail and walking trail was great for us. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need. We enjoyed our stay.
We had a long term stay and really enjoyed our time. The home is cozy and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The backyard is spacious for outside dining and the outdoor fireplace was a wonderful feature. We would stay again.
A friend and I stayed for 3+ weeks at this property. This home is very cozy and is located in a quiet neighborhood. It is also close (5 minutes) to all of the sites and restaurants there are to enjoy in Santa Fe.
The host was quick to respond to any concerns we had.
Classic house in a friendly neighborhood that boasts many Stamm classic houses. Super convenient location with easy access to miles of walking trails, grocery stores, the Railyard district and the Plaza. The Pantry Restaurant is just up the block. Check out Madame Matisse for breakfast, lunch, good coffee and fine pastries - within easy walking distance. Very responsive owner as well.
Great experience staying at Lisa house. Really enjoyed the outside space. Would gladly recommend this house to anyone. And would consider coming back. Dan
WE absolutely Enjoyed every moment of our stay at Lisaâs home. She has thought of everything to make guests feel at home. Nothing was missing. The warmth you see in the photos is true to life!
We wanted to stay longer. We were sad to leave.
But knowing we found a small piece of paradise in a crazy Covid world, we will look forward to a return trip as soon as possible.
Thank you Lisa!
We have lived in Santa Fe for more than 25 years, and never grow weary of this little gorgeous, unique, artistic city nestled in the shadow of the Sangre de Cristo mountains. It is home.
