"Bienvenue dans notre maison loin de chez vous sur l'île Mustang! La Ola, qui signifie «The Wave», est un ajout luxueux et contemporain à la communauté de Cinnamon Shore, situé en face du pont-dune et à quelques pas de la piscine de Kiera. Cette maison dispose de cinq chambres joliment aménagées, idéales pour deux ou trois familles ou un grand groupe de 14 personnes.

Wonderful Place to Vacation

Fabulous Experience

We could walk to the pool, and the beach was a minute or 2 away in a golf cart. My friends and I would absolutely rent this property again.

The house has been recently painted and “refreshed” but isn’t up to the standards of other CS rental homes. In the bunk room there were two missing light fixtures leaving open sockets for kids to put their fingers in. The house lacks an ice maker and the one in the fridge was broken but even when working isn’t enough for a house of this size. There no pantry which is frustrating as most people cook a few nights and the kitchen is well equipped. The A/C on the third floor struggles even in cool weather and there is very little water pressure.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our weeklong stay at La Ola. The location is great so close to the pool and beach access. The interior was very nicely done in white with happy accents. The main floor with kitchen and living room had a heavy sliding barn-style door which was fabulous for keeping toddlers safe from stairs and roaming. It also nearly soundproofed the room which worked out well for early risers. The layout was perfect for 3 families. Family of 6, family of 4 and Family of 2.Nearby Lisabella's was great for dinner as well as Dylans pizza on the lawn while kids played. Beach service was our favorite. Delicious margaritas, burgers and fish tacos and more delivered to your chair.We would rent La Ola one again!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Dear Cinnamon Shore, I would like to provide you with a negative review of the property we stayed at-La Ola. Upon arrival we toured the house. The master bedroom on the third floor was extremely hot. We called to have a service tech come and check the AC unit. He stated that the AC unit was running ok. I requested to have a box fan brought to the house and never heard of him or saw him. We did not use that room at all during our stay. The mirrors in the bathrooms were stained-fogged you could not see yourself in the mirror, broken towel fixtures, soiled bed spreads and carpet and furniture. The handles on all of the kitchen drawers were sticky to touch. All of the exterior doors are either stuck and difficult to open and shut. Missing screws to outdoor shower latches and garbage, rusty shower curtain hardware. No welcome letter providing instructions on how to operate TV, ( missing remotes) cable tv or where the garbage bins were located or how to work any of the appliances in the house. The layout of the property was great for our family, but it was disappointing considering the cost per night and the cleaning fee. Run down- upkeep. Our experience last year staying at Cinnamon Shore was 1000% times better. The property condition is in need of a deep cleaning, painting and overall upkeep. Who does the quality control on these properties? Last year I secured a deposit to return this year due to the great experience. That did it happen this time. We love spending time on the beach, not sure if we would consider returning due to this experience. ( pictures on the website are deceiving ) Regards, Liz Pastrana

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: La Ola is a great location and we loved the carport area. Plenty of room and comfortable beds. The home needs some maintenance however. Bathroom mirrors are foggy, master bath missing a sink stopper and shower handles fall off. Also, was not very clean. This is our 6th year to stay at Cinnamon Shore and this is the first time the home we stayed in was not in good shape.

Perfect size but not clean

It was disappointing to pay that amount of $$ to have found a lot of hairs, stained pillows and couches, light bulbs were out, shower handle broken, one sink didn't drain, and the bunk bed lights didn't all have covers and my 3 year old burned her finger the second night. The pans in the cabinets were so gross and dirty as well, we had to scrub them before cooking.

The house was spacious and perfect for our large extended family of 10. The location couldn’t have been better, close to the beach and 2 of the pools. The kitchen was very well equipped but we did notice there is limited pantry space. We did have to call the maintenance to be able to turn on several of the tvs and they came midway through our stay. The home was very clean and in good condition although some of the slipcovers on the couch were stained a bit. Overall, a delightful vacation home!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the 2nd year we stayed at La Ola. We love the location on the property. People watching off the porch was nice. The house was clean and the floor plan was perfect. We stayed six nights this time. Of course cooking was a big part of the trip. The kitchen needs some revamping. Cooking was a challenge. We did bring some things however what was there was not good. The pans should be thrown away. I called prior to our trip to make sure the stove was working. The year before it was not. The pilots clicked at every level and a smell of gas was present. It needs fixing. Also NO pantry. We moved dishes to put our groceries. We had one working television. The television service was awful except in the living room. Called but Maintance did not come. Very frustrating. Whatever the service was was bad. One tv none in bedrooms. Also parking was really bad. Could not use carport because then could get into the house because the door would be blocked. Overall furnishings are minimal. Just not as impressive as my sisters two houses. We are returning in 2021 but booked another property. I probably would not recommend La Ola unless it gets some kitchen upgrades. Especially the smell of gas and the television situation.

Only complaints were that two of the King beds were not comfortable at all....missing their box springs! We had a great time though...and love Cinnamon is a perfect place for families of all ages!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time during our stay at La Ola! The location was perfect to the beach and pools as well as the great lawn. The s'mores and movie nights were a blast for the kids and the dinner at Lisabelle's was delicious. We loved having the golf cart to take us to and from the beach as well as the beach chairs. Our kids enjoyed a day at the kid's camp. They were very entertained with swimming, snacks, beach time and a treasure hunt. We enjoyed hanging out at the pools even if the drinks were a little expensive. We only had a few issues with the house- some structural issues maybe because it was so new- toilet paper holder missing, some lights missing, pocket door wouldn't close. The main issue were the bugs. There seemed to be a lot of little roaches, especially in the kitchen. We overlooked that as an issue with new houses and open doors plus all the construction. We will be back and loved the setting.

Great House at the best location!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This new house had everything we needed for a great stay! The bedroom arrangement worked well for a group of adults. The issues we had were with Property management team and not with the house itself. The house was NOT cleaned by check in time and it took multiple request and a day to get a key that worked. Also only a charcoal grill, not a gas one for grilling.
