Welcome to our Cozy BoHo Cabin! Located in heart of Chester. Walking distance to the local shops, and the historic Olsen Barn. The main source of heat is a wood stove. We supply the wood. Thereâs 2 portable heaters for your use. Our place will accommodate two people comfortably. Come up and play in the snow, or stroll along the streets of Chester. The coffee shop is conveniently located a few doors away. Lake Almanor area offers year round enjoyment. Summer play at the lake and Winter sports in the snow.
Everything was really clean and cozy! Very comfortable bed! It was perfect for our three night stay. We didn't need the kitchen at all, but was happy to have one. Would stay here again, if we visit Chester.
We loved our visit to Chester! We received excellent communication and recommendations from our host, and Lassen Volcanic National Park is absolutely gorgeous. 100% recommend!
Just stayed a couple of nights. It was a very nice and small cabin but it fit our needs. Bed was comfortable. It was well stocked for our needs. Easy drive yo the National Park.
BoHo Cottage was perfect for our 3 day visit to the Lake Almanor area. The house had everything we needed, even a toaster! We will be back again in July, looking forward to coffee and bagels on the little front porch each morning.
This cute little cottage was exactly as described. Close to town but tucked back from the main road. Very quiet! We came to explore Lassen and hike. It was a nice spot to come "home" to. We will keep this location in mind when we return in the fall.
Cabin was a lovely/charming way to explore Chester and surrounding area. Wood stove and cozy lil cabin were very homey for my partner and I, who live off grid in the mountains, but walking distance to everything in town. Thanks!
The cottage was very welcoming. because I left early and returned late, I did not have the time to relax the small comforts that it offered. the parking would have difficult for someone that did not know how to back up right. other than that I enjoyed my stay.
I never recieved check-in information from VRBO and had to get the information (location of key and Wi-Fi information) from the host, who was great. Also I don't see anywhere listed that the house in NOT visible from the street and is in back of a building down a small lane, this would have been useful information. Other than that the stay was great.
We stayed two nights in this small house and had a great time. It had all the amenities we needed and was clean and welcoming. Before arriving, look up the address on Google street view so you know what to look for. We arrived in the dark and found the driveway easily. Also, turning the car around in the space in front of the small house was fine too. If you have no backup camera, just go slowly, use your mirrors, and have someone get out and be the lookout.
We also really enjoyed the town of Chester. The grocery store was well-stocked with fair prices. Definitely check out the local eateries and walk to the nearby coffee shop.
Overall a great stay and would definitely recommend to friends and family!
