Le Country Cottage est une destination de vacances familiale préférée depuis de nombreuses années et nous pouvons maintenant le partager avec d'autres qui aiment le grand paysage du nord de la Californie.

Nous sommes une maison entièrement et entièrement équipée avec un piano dans la pâleur. Buanderie, cuisine complète, grand salon, téléviseurs. Magnétoscope, DVD, lecteur de cassettes, films et jeux
La maison est en ville sur une grande cour entièrement clôturée de niveau. A proximité se trouvent Mountain Meadows Reservior, Lake Almanor, Feather River et Lassen Volcanic National Park. Les lacs, les ruisseaux, les ruisseaux et les rivières abondent ici.

The house is very quant. Lots of old trinkets and furniture that goes back to the 1950's. Big living room. The area around the house is quiet and is perfect for pets of any size. Its all gated so pets can roam. The house is old but charming. We had a nice stay.

The property was not clean

My 1.5 year old grandson got hand foot and mouth. The beds had crumbs in them, on bed cover looked like it had barf on it, the vacuum was broken so I brought my personal shark down. The house was not clean and now my grandson is sick.

Very Cute Comfortable Cottage

We had a very comfortable stay at this very cute cottage home. It was spacious enough for the 6 of us & enough gathering space & a lovely fireplace to keep us all warm during Fall. The owner Carol & the manager next door were amazing, very quick response on any query & very helpful. I'm looking forward on coming back again.

My partner, our two dogs, and I loved this place. Charmingly old-fashioned but with great modern amenities. Big fenced yard. Quiet town in a gorgeous mountain setting. Thank you!

Not Rustic but only Run Down

AVOID THIS PLACE! If this is supposed to be like Grandma's house, she must be dead and stored in the place somewhere. Dirty, unkempt, cold, small, with TV's, lights, plumbing and much more that did not work! Not worth the overpriced rate; better to be found in area. Glad to be gone; will not return.

Quaint and clean

This is a nice cottage that is clean and comfortable. It’s very close to town. The owner did a great job of providing detailed information about check in and check out. I would happily stay there again!

Just like granny’s house (or my Aunt Effie’s house) in Alabama

We enjoyed our stay very much. If you’re expecting a luxury vacation this isn’t the place for you, but if you grew up or had family you stayed with in the country and you like quaint, comfy, antique-type old style furniture this may be the place for you. The neighborhood is older and parts of It are in poor shape, but our area was very quiet and the neighbors we met were very friendly. Lake Almanor is only 6 miles or so away—and my husband caught his biggest rainbow trout ever, 6 lbs plus (he did catch and release so it’s still there to grow and be caught again...) on our first day out. Exciting for us both! I’ve not spent time at Lake Almanor and now that I have I know why my husband loves the area so much—it’s absolutely some of the best of God’s country, gorgeous! We will be back! Oh, and did I mention the price us right?

We absolutely loved staying at 207 Cedar Street in Westwood, CA! It was completely equipped with everything you could want or need. Thanks to the Fausts for creating such a wonderful property!

A warm and comfy house that invites memories of grandma.

We highly recommend this neat, clean, spacious cottage. The yard had lots of romping room for our basset hounds and Carol and her husband are kind, wonderful folks who go the extra mile to make sure your stay is a comfortable one. Westwood is full of friendly, smiling people who don't hesitate to point visitors in the right direction. We will definitely be staying here again.

Charming cottage with easy access to outdoor recreation opportunities

This is a charming and rustic cottage that is nicely furnished and has a large outdoor patio. The kitchen is stocked with all the appliances you could need to cook up some great meals on your vacation. If you don't feel like cooking, there is also a great restaurant, Buffalo Chips, within walking distance (try the wings!). The landlord was friendly and easy to work with and the neighbors were also nice and helpful. The surrounding area is an outdoor paradise, where the Sierra Nevada and Cascade ranges meet. The rental is a great jumping off point to explore the Caribou Wilderness, Lassen Volcanic National Park, Lake Almanor and other nearby areas.

Was clean, relaxing, and felt at home.

The property was clean and in good condition. I liked it because it was like being at home. It wasn't so modern that you felt you might break something if you touched it. The owners were very nice and very good host. I would recommend it to anyone that wanted to relax, be comfortable, and enjoy the small town, their history and being only 2 hours from Reno, 1 hour from a National Park, and beautiful country side. A cozy, small town experience in the mountains.

We had a relaxing 5 day stay here...fishing at numerous nearby sites , relaxing on the new spacious deck, and even got in a little target shooting at the gun range. The small town environment is especially what we like when traveling. I like to cook, and the kitchen has all I needed. We will definitely return!

Very unsatisfactory.

The house was a rickety with uneven floors and walls separating from the ceiling, but the worst was the smell. It was so musty and moldy smelling that I had an allergy attack and had to find other accommodations after the first night. The water heater (with the overflow draining into the floor) which was in my bedroom made noise all night long. Not a restful night. The house is in dire need of repairs and upgrades if it is to be rented. As far as I’m concerned it was totally unsatisfactory.

I have always thought of Westwood as a fishing dream destination as I have spent so many hours chasing the trout here.

I have placed a booklet in the home letting you in on some of our in town events, places to eat, and little known areas like the Subway Lave Caves to have to see to believe.

Everything is provided here. Just bring your toothbrush and clothes and food you want to eat unless you want to eat at our local restaurants. Buffalo Chips ( PIzza +++)
