And while it became a little too humid on the beach, the condo was nice and comfy! There were also enough amenities at the site so that we could enjoy the evening without having to be too far from him in the condo. Overall a nice quiet quick getaway before the crazy school year started up again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental unit was very clean and the furniture/decor were updated. We would like to stay in this unit again BUT the king size bed was HORRIBLE! My wife and I have back spasms from sleeping on the way-to-firm mattress. The mattress needs to be replaced with a comfortable mattress. The mattress on the sleeper sofa was actually more comfortable than the bedroom mattress. Also, the sixth night of our stay, alarms went off in the parking lot from a couple of break-ins to vehicles. I called the police since I witnessed the individuals who were breaking into the vehicles. Our neighbor had items stolen from his truck the night before. The management company needs to work with keeping this area safe.

Great location, comfortable, new but on the pricey side

We were looking for a nice getaway where we could take our small dog on relatively short notice. After reviewing a limited number of locations around the area that accepted pets we settled on this location. It's on the bay side, no views of anything from the unit, but it was new, comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for our stay: Large island, fully equipped full-sized kitchen, a large shower with a fantastic waterfall head, TVs in the living and one bedroom, wifi, comfortable furniture, and simple but nicely appointed design. The patio is too small to really enjoy and backs up to a road that was busier than I thought it would, but it wasn't too bothersome. It's just a short walk to the yacht club where you can sit out on the two-level deck and watch the sun set, play some corn hole, air hockey, sit in small but kid-friendly pool, bbq or fish off the small docks. We were really there for the beach and it's less than a 5 minute drive to the north entrance to Whitecap beach. The property management was excellent with communication and answered any questions we had promptly. There is still construction ongoing in the building next door, but it didn't diminish our experience. The unit's daily price was reasonable, but by the time all the fees got added in, including a $100 Vrbo service charge that got added after we settled our original bill, we were at almost double what the stated price was. I'm not sure we'd do it again due to all the added fees, but if you're looking for a nice, comfortable, and convenient place with some nice amenities and don't mind paying a little extra I have no problem recommending it.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We found the condo to be very clean and stocked with very convenient kitchen items. The condo was almost perfect except for the bed. THE BED WAS EXTREMELY FIRM. This resulted in multiple nights of terrible sleep. This bed needs a soft foam topper or a softer mattress. We love Aruba bay resort and will be returning a few times next year but we will consider another condo where we can sleep comfortably. If you enjoy a very firm mattress than I would highly recommend this condo. Its decorated and stocked well.
