Relax. Retreat. Refresh. The beautiful driftless area of Wisconsin with its steep hills and valleys and winding roads boasts the perfect setting for a relaxing family vacation. The numerous trout streams beckon the fishermen, with one trout stream just walking distance from the rental. Just one-half mile down the road a canoe launch welcomes visitors to explore the nostalgic Kickapoo River or just drift aimlessly down, enjoying the lush beauty and abundant wildlife - from the great horned owl, to the fawn nestling with its mother. Enjoy a drive through the scenic Amish countryside (just 10 minutes away!) and enjoy the farms and shops along the way, including the infamous Amish Wal-mart (Trails End), Scenic Foods Bulk Foods, and Miller’s Bent-‘n-Dent; or take a day trip to Wisconsin Dells (1 hr/20 min) or the Mississippi River, about one hour from the rental.

This two-floor home features a total of six bedrooms with five queen beds and one set of twin beds and is an ideal short-term rental for a whole family, a family and extended relatives, or just one couple who would enjoy a luxurious, quiet experience on a roomy two acres. A master suite complete with a private bathroom (single whirlpool tub) and full kitchenette is included, and Amish hand-crafted oak flooring and trim boast their excellent workmanship.

The Haven boasts a unique experience to rest and relax away from the normal busyness of life, including gorgeous views of the driftless countryside, regularly visiting wildlife, a large yard for outdoor family games, and a fire-ring for evening fellowship. Sit on either of two outdoor swings and take in the quiet serenity of the countryside. Enjoy a family dinner or evening board games under a fully lit picnic canopy.

The property is continually being updated, with a spacious lounge area/recreational/meeting room coming this winter.
