Our charming and comfortable Spanish home is waiting for you to enjoy a lovely and relaxing time in the finest region of the Costa Brava. The house is spacious (4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms), suitable for 8 persons, and at the same time very cosy. It will make you feel at home instantly. Besides cosy it is very well equipped, so you won't miss a thing. On top of that the villa is equipped with ceilingfans to provide cool when needed. The location is excellent, with stunning nature views, while Costa Brava's lively and beautiful coastline is only 10 minutes away, enabling you to visit the many beautiful & famous beaches.
You will be enchanted by nearby beautiful medieval towns like Palamos, San Feliu de Guixols, Play de Aro, Begur, Callella de Palafrugell, Pals, Llanfranc, Tossa de Mar (and so on...) or are you the more sportive kind ? Then do a hike along the incredible coastline (Cami de Ronda = walkingpath) or go cycling or playing golf at one of the many beautiful courses nearby.
If you fancy watersports, you can go (kite)surfing, supping or snorkling. Calonge itself is a little, quaint town with all amenities (supermarkets and a few restaurants). But for sure you will be reluctant to leave this house, whilst enjoying the huge and sunny terraces, beautiful garden, outdoor kitchen, refreshing pool and playing a game of pingpong orJeu de Boule! For big city lovers Girona is 30 minutes drive away, Barcelona 1,5 hour. Last but not least, Wifi, smart TV and central heating available. Ceilingfans in all (bed)rooms provide cool when needed. The pool (8 x 4) can be heated. Private parkingspace for 2 cars.

Pros: Amazingly beautiful views, super quiet peaceful location, convenient to many costa brava stops; great insider travel tips from owner; beautiful refreshing pool and patio. Owner was very communicative. For no AC, the house stays decently cool. Cons: there’s just some odd things missing in my opinion. Toilet paper, shampoo, soap, detergents, etc are not provided so your first stop is the supermarket. No bags in the bathroom trash cans. The daily garbage sorting and take out schedule is a bit painful although that’s maybe unavoidable. But the cleaner also asked us to take our own trash to a municipal dump, which drove me nuts. Towels, linens and beds are old. Only some rooms have screens on doors or windows, which with no AC is annoying. (Bonus though, we encountered almost no bugs even w windows and doors open.)

Thank you for your review Simone. Happy to hear you enjoyed the peaceful location and our amazing view. Sorry to hear you missed some basics supplies such as toiletpaper. Toiletpaper should have been there, I’m not sure what happened and will make sure our carekeeper keeps a good eye on this next time. If you would have notified me of the missing items I would have gladly provided them for you ofcourse . Particularly because we make an effort to provide our guests with the feeling of a comfy and warm home away from home. Our guests praise us more than often for our hospitality and the fact the villa is unusually well-equipped. The way garbage is collected in Calonge is out of our hands. It was different before (with big garbage containers at the beginning of the urbanisation). However, this caused a lot of mess in the streets with people dumping stuff not only in but sadly also everywhere around the containers, attracting animals. Many people appreciate this new system of garbage being picked up every day and having a clean urbanisation. By all means the central garbage station (Deixalleria) is nearby to get rid of garbage. The bedlinnen and towels are recently bought (2 years ago when we bought the house) and they a squeaky clean. We never received any complaint about the beds. They are not new but very comfortable. We ourselves never have better sleeps than in Spain! My conclusion: staying in a holiday house is different from staying in an hotel . In a real house you are faced with choirs such as getting rid of garbage and buying toilet articles (if you don’t bring them, as most people do). This is different from an hotel where everything is provided for you on a standarized level. Our house is not standard , it has a ‘soul’, charm and warmth, and just because of that it is so highly valued by our guests. But you should not be seeking 5 star standard hotel luxury. Last but not least, on our side we were surprised and not very happy to hear from our caretaker you brought two dogs without mentioning it in the booking.. out of courtesy and kindness we decided not to make a fuzz or charge you extra but bringing dogs is something you need to mention upfront. All in all we regret your 3-star rating which in our view is unjustified.

We stayed in the villa for one week and enjoyed the time a lot. The outside area is great to just chill at the pool and enjoy the mountain view. Plenty of comfy space outside. Inside the villa there is everything you need. A large kitchen, already packed with plenty of food. The neighborhood is very calm, so you can relax without beeing disturbed. All in all we recommend this Villa and would go there again.

Our wonderful family trip

Our Family stayed in July in this lovely spartanic villa on top of the Mountain and we really enjoyed the time here. We were 8 people (6 adults, 2 children) and a newborn and had enough space for everyone. Each of the living rooms had their own bathrooms what we really enjoyed. The outdoor area is generous with a large swimming pool and different lounges to relax. The view on the opposite mountain is stunning and the neighborhood is quiet. The house is a little far away from everything so we had to drive by car to get somewhere but that's what makes the area very quiet. We enjoyed the beaches on the Platja Can Cristus and also went on the other side to Palamos which is more touristic but nice. We cooked a lot at the house because of the distance to restaurants and because we were a big group of people. All in all we really enjoyed our staying at this wonderful house.

Wir haben uns in diesem liebevoll und mit viel persönlichem Charme eingerichteten Ferienhaus vom ersten Moment an rundum wohlgefühlt. Ein absolutes Highlight war für uns der große Pool, der zum Entspannen und Genießen einlädt. Besonders begeistert hat uns auch die ruhige Nachbarschaft und der herrliche, weite Blick in die Natur.Wer eine Auszeit in einem gemütlichen und besonderen Ambiente sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können dieses Ferienhaus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Wat een mooi in stijl ingericht huis! Aan een doodlopende weg dus lekker rustig uitkijkend over een prachtig natuurgebied. Zeer ruime.tuin met goed onderhouden zwembad. Het huis is zo ingedeeld dat je er met 3 verschillende gezinnen uit een familie makkelijk kunt verblijven en ook je terug kunt trekken. Alles is aanwezig voor een luxe verblijf, het enige is dat je zelf wel boodschappen moet doen. We hadden fijne communicatie met de eigenaren die ook snel.reageerden op.alle.vragen die.wij hadden. We hebben een ontzettend fijne tijd gehad
