The location is perfectly situated in the middle of the island with quick access to the beach (3 minute walk from door to shore without crossing Gulf Drive), Publix grocery store, Walgreens, Manatee Public Beach, shopping, restaurants and more. The free trolley stop is steps away offering an affordable way to explore the whole island. Ohana Beach Retreat is a newly renovated triplex in Holmes Beach on Anna Maria Island. Excellent location. Walk to the beach was so easy and were able to get to many places on foot. Rental was super clean and enjoyed the backyard area and pool.

Great vacation!

My daughter and I had a wonderful vacation! The condo was a short walk to the beach. Great local restaurants. I would definitely stay there again!.

Great place to stay!

We loved the location, easy access to a lot of fun things to do. Beach was so close, had everything we needed. Pool was awesome to have on days we did not go to the beach. Checked out lots of great restaurants! We had a great stay and would highly recommend staying at Ohana Beach Resort!!

Yes it is a nice unit as we have 9.8/10 ratings and are disappointed with your rating. The listing states, "This unit is a 600 sq ft Studio with a queen murphy bed and a sleeper chair." The photos show the comfortable bed so not sure how there was any confusion here! Know you and your 2 service dogs enjoyed it. We have no control over the weather or temperature, especially when it is below zero in the northern latitudes.

Location close to beautiful beach

This unit is small, but very nicely updated. The murphy bed is surprisingly comfortable. The pool area is very nice and creates a relaxing oasis. Everything is provided for a day at the beach, and it's just a short walk. We enjoyed our time here and plan to return to this unit.

Fantastic cosy & modern studio apartment

We had such a relaxing time at Ohana Beach resort. The apartment /cottage itself is furnished to a high standard making it very comfortable. The location couldn’t be better with minutes walk to the beautiful beach. A Publix store just down the road and the FREE trolley bus stops right outside the accommodation. Rex & Michele were fab, answering our questions before & during our stay & their invaluable recommendations on the island made sure we made the most of our week, thank you! We’ll certainly be back and highly recommend to friends and family.

We absolutely loved our stay at Ohana! Everything was perfect, stocked with everything you need, The location was close to everything, short walk to beach. The pool was awesome annd very private. Our unit was small but it was perfect for two people, even the Murphy bed was comfortable!. The unit was very clean and nicely decorated. We were extremely pleased with our stay and also it was very reasonably priced. We were able to check in early, thanks to Rex, which was so convenient as we arrived about 1pm, we highly recommend staying at Ohana! Thank you so much Rex!

This property was one of the worst vacation rentals I have ever experienced, and the listing was completely misleading.•The listing claimed 600 sq ft, but we measured only 390 sq ft. That is nearly half the size advertised and clear false advertising.•The pool was overheated and crawling with no-see-ums, making it unusable.•The unit was dirty from the start. The sleeper sofa was broken, practically on the floor, and full of sand.•The couch had stains, and there was black dust on the bathroom sink.•The Murphy bed blocks the front door when opened, which is unsafe and impractical.•There was no real storage space, despite the listing suggesting otherwise.Before arrival Rex sent a long text full of rules about keeping the place spotless, including absurd details like washing dishes only with the soft side of a sponge. Yet the place itself was not clean when we checked in.When I raised these issues, Rex mocked me, saying that since I am from New York I “probably lived in smaller conditions anyway.” When I asked for a partial refund or relocation, he cancelled my reservation, fully aware that I am pregnant and traveling with my four-year-old. Thankfully, Vrbo was on the line to confirm that I did not want to cancel, but at that point it was impossible to find another place in Anna Maria on such short notice.This experience was a disaster with false advertising, filthy accommodations, and a hostile host. Avoid this rental at all costs.

After 200 high-rating guests at this listing on multiple platforms (read the other reviews please) and 10,000 guests at all our homes overall, this one guest was something I have never experienced. First, the guest showed up early expecting to be let in early because they had driven from New York. Second, the guest admitted "I am pregnant and tuned the AC down to 70 degrees for my comfort." Third, they immediately told me the that it was unacceptable that "Sand was found in the beach carts." Fourth, the guest told me they were disappointed because "There was sand found in beach accessories." Fifth, "There was some sand found in the home." Sixth, "The Murphy bed has a crack in the outside of it" that has always been there and has zero functional impact. Seventh, "Only one roll of paper towels was left for us." Then, the guest demanded that I immediately move them to a much larger home despite the 40 photos of the listing provided before booking! I had no other larger homes available so they said I needed to cancel them. I canceled the booking because they asked for that and then they really went crazy! They refused to leave the home that they demanded I cancel for them! Then they said the pool, which had the heat turned off, was too hot for a pregnant woman. They never said anything about no-see-ums or I would have given them several recommendations to help. And no one has ever complained about the near the bed. This was a wild experience and I found out that while I try, I cannot please everyone...

Loved the area!

Loved this little place. Very clean and modern with a beautiful bathroom and idyllic pool, beach chairs, and the murphy bed was so surprisingly comfortable . We enjoyed the 2 minute beautiful walk to the ‘our’ beach and 20 seconds to the trolley. Great communication even though we were later than we’d planned. All in all great fun.

Great location

The house was very cute and exactly like in the pictures. It was in a super convenient location, just a few blocks to the beach, and a block from Publix. The only drawback was it was a bit loud - you can definitely hear the people in the unit above walking around.

Amazing experience

The property was spotless and modern. Everything was as advertised! Convenient to everything on the island. Two blocks from the beach, the beach chairs and cart provided were a game changer!! Went to the beach every day. Rex the property manager was amazing. Check in and check out was a breeze. Loved every minute of our stay. The pool was super nice too! Barbecue grill was great. We will definitely be back!

Cute and comfortable, perfect location

What a lovely place! My extended family of 8 rented all 3 units. Each unit is unique, but they are all so cute! We had such a good time! We loved hanging out by the beautiful pool area, and it was great to be walking distance from Walgreens, the grocery store, and Holy Cow (ice cream shop). We recommend walking to breakfast at Paradise Bagels- delicious! The beach is a very short walk, so we’d go during the day but also went for several sunset walks along the beach. The building is on a main road, but honestly the traffic wasn’t that bad during our stay, and we spent our time by the pool instead of the front yard. One of our family members stayed in this unit (Unit A), since it’s the studio with the pull down Murphy Bed. Very clean and cute decorating. She said her bed was very comfortable and there is plenty of shelving to keep suitcase items. The unit is one open room with the bathroom in back, and the use of space opens it up and allows for plenty of room when the bed is up. We highly recommend this place and hope to stay here again!

Beautiful little cottage!

There was some confusion upon arrival and we checked in to wrong cottage; however, it was quickly rectified and we relaxed and enjoyed our stay immensely. The cottage was small but had everything needed for a relaxing stay - kitchen was fully stocked, beach chairs available, towels, etc. The pool area was wonderful and the location was perfect - 2 minute walk to the beach. Could not have asked for a better week!

Anna Maria Island Vacay

Small clean unit. Well supplied. On a busy street. Noisy bar across the street. Not enough hot water for two showers. Shower spray not adjustable, spray too hard. Outdoor pool area full of debris, other units hanging their wet clothes and towels all over fence. Noisy upstairs neighbors. Washer dryer closet smelled awful. Repairman worked on laundry at least two times during the week. Easy walk to the beach. Appreciate the beach equipment.

I'm glad the unit was well stocked and clean for you and you had easy access to the beach and that we were able to immediately provide more bath towels as requested. Thanks for your feedback. We will assess the shower situation and see if that can be improved upon. I will also check in with our pool maintenance team but everything in the pool area was clear with zero debris when I was on-site yesterday. They come twice per week so the pool area should have been well maintained. My apologies for the repairs needed on the laundry but I was there yesterday and everything was fine again. It is a brand new facility so we are working through some kinks. Hopefully you had a wonderful time on AMI.

Great place to stay

The property was immaculate, newly redone and within walking distance of shopping. The kitchen had all the essentials and the bed was comfortable. The pool was nice, and most days I had it to myself. I would definitely stay again.
