great location between Ellijay and Blue Ridge. view from cabin is very nice and the cabin has everything you need. Just be careful with the directions from Apple maps lol.

The cabin was well situated between Blue Ridge and Ellijay. We took advantage of great outdoor activities, wineries/breweries and restaurants. If you’re looking to kick back and relax on the back porch with a Mountain View or enjoy a soak in the hot tub, this is a terrific spot! Kitchen is well equipped if you want to cook. Bathrooms are clean; showers are a bonus for a cabin this size. The host and property management team are super responsive if you have any questions.

Idyll on the Ridge was perfect for our family of three. The view was magnificent from the back porch as well as the living room and two bedrooms. The cabin has a great layout allowing for privacy with bedrooms on either side of the living area; both bedrooms also had updated en-suites. The cabin also was furnished nicely with very comfortable beds, clean interior and exterior environment, and the A/C provided additional comfort (because it was hot outside). We found ourselves spending more time at the cabin than we anticipated because we enjoyed it so much.

This cabin is a little slice of heaven. It is so beautiful and the view is the cherry on top. We loved how peaceful and quiet it was to really enjoy nature. The cabin itself is lovely inside, it made us want to visit in the winter months and turn the fireplace on. Book this cabin!!!

Immaculate cabin with great views

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. The cabin was spotless and cozy, and the host was very communicative and friendly, making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed! We also enjoyed the fully stocked game cabinet and the great view of the mountains from the balcony :)

Beautiful cabin!!! The view was amazing from the comfy porch. Love the decor, so cozy! The road to the cabin is fairly steep and curvy, but paved and very well maintained. So, after a couple of times, we got used to it. This is in a neighborhood, but felt extremely private. The trees and landscaping are very mature, so we felt very secluded amongst the trees. Bathrooms are updated and very nice. We cooked several meals and had everything we needed. Blue Ridge is only about 10 min away, so it’s very conveniently located. There is a little restaurant called The Pink Pig at the bottom of the road going up to the cabin, but they were unfortunately closed the whole time we stayed. If they would have been open, that would have been so convenient for a dinner or lunch. Think they are only open Thursday-Sun? Will have to try next time! We didn’t use the grill, but there is a whole separate patio area with seating and that was the BEST sunset view! The cabin felt spacious for us (a couple) without being too much. If you had 4 people, you wouldn’t feel cramped. The best part was hanging out on the porch, so relaxing. Also, the weather was cool enough to use the fireplace, which has an easy to use timer switch on the side. This created a very cozy vibe. We’ve stayed in a lot of cabins in the mountains (mainly Smokies) and this one is by far our favorite. Also recommend Mercier Orchards and Blue Ridge train- both great. We will be back!!

Best cabin ever

Super comfy, nicely decorated, gorgeous view, just like the photos. Very relaxing. Communication with the owner was easy and they replied promptly. The road up to the cabin is narrow and very twisty, but you’re in the mountains. Quiet neighborhood and private. Would love to come back another time.

We loved staying at this Cabin

Great place to stay, everything we we’re looking for, good location ( +/- 10 minutes from Ellijay or Blue Ridge ) kitchen fully equipped, cozy fire place at the living room, entertaining family table games provided, easy access with nicely paved road all the way to the parking pad, quiet and peaceful area, good cell phone signal reception, didn’t need to use the WI-FI to have cell service, very private deck and hot tub, nice fire pit ( fire wood supplied ) and very clean gas grill ( propane supplied ) Great Host communication, definitely booking soon again, highly recommended.

We absolutely loved our stay in the cabin! It was cozy and peaceful with beautiful mountain views all around. The décor was adorable all the little forest animals, bunnies, and deer made it feel so charming and personal. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and cooking out on the grill, then having dinner outside at the lovely table with a stunning view. Mornings were our favorite waking up to the mountains was breathtaking. The kitchen island was perfect for cooking together, and the shower pressure was great too! The host checked in to make sure everything was going well, which we really appreciated. We had such a lovely stay truly amazing from start to finish!

The cabin was very clean and nice. The cabin is surrounded by other cabins and can be a busy road at times. The look out area is at the drive way so its not really secluded. In the fall and winter you will definitely be able to see everyone around you. I know this is preference but the bed was hard. We washed a load of laundry and water leaked out from under the washer and made a mess. I did inform maintenance of this issue. Overall its clean and it does have the view but not a lot of privacy.

Hot tub

Not worth the premium paid. Age of hot tub. Needs replacement. Door lock access difficult though service answered quickly and efficiently opening faulty low battery issue. Property overall was adequate, just not premium.

I think this cabin overall was a peaceful and beautiful place to stay in the Blue Ridge Mountains.I did notice some of the areas required some dust and cobweb removal inside the cabin.It had all the amenities and comforts of home in the kitchen and bathroom/shower areas.The mountain views could've been better but it rained hard almost everyday we stayed there, so we could see most of the mountains surrounding the cabin between the breaks in the clouds.In fact it rained so hard and for so many days that the gutters backed up and created a mud dam just right outside the front door, which we then had to walk around to avoid bringing mud in the cabin.The hot tub was wonderful and we got to utilize this amenity a couple times during our stay.We did have an issue after we requested and booked one additional night for our stay, as we got locked out of the cabin on our final day, (someone forgot to adjust the lock code for the one additional night), so we ended up walking to a nearby neighbors house to use their phone, and requesting a remote unlock by the property management. This was a lesson learned to always bring your cell phone even if you leave to use the hot tub which you have access to outside on the lower level of the cabin. We were planning on giving this property a five star review but with the dust we saw inside, and the very bad mud dam just outside the front door, (which is the only access to the cabin), I can only give a 4 out of 5 review overall.

Hot tub needs replaced or bleached heavily. Booked primarily for a staycation to lounge in the hot tub most of the time. Did not use it at all. Host reviewed photos of it after I mentioned it looked unclean. Said it was drained prior. The gross orange coating on all jets, walls and even the replaceable parts need to be bleached or just buy a new hot tub. Over priced and disappointed us. Not worth what we paid. Some windows don’t lock, drawers in kitchen are broken, stains on white pillow case, dust on towel/shelf but overall clean on inside. I don’t normally write reviews. But I wouldn’t have booked if I saw the condition of the hot tub. Unfortunately I did not remember to take photos of the hot tub but tread carefully.
