Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is in a great location and has plenty of parking. You can see the waves crashing on the beach right from the living room. The inside circular stairs are tough for seniors. I don’t recommend anyone over 70 stay here.

Review

This house did not meet expectations. The one nice thing was the location to the beach and that’s it. There are multiple things that need updating and things that need fixed. There also needs to be full disclosure of the staircases in the description of the house.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location was great. House was run down and needs some love and care. We used the top floor mostly as it was the most updated. Bottom kitchen was not used. No stove and not a full second kitcehn house was not clean when we arrived. Also carpets need a good cleaning. A lot of stains

Great location property for Baby's Place

The location was perfect. Just what I wanted for our family. The house was very clean . As far as the condition of the house. It definitely needs a face lift. The layout of the house was great for our family. There were several older folks which made the spiral stairs challenging. I do not remember the spiril stairs being mentioned in the description of the house. It should be entered in the description of the house that there are two spiral stairs inside the house to get to each of the floors from the main floor.

Nice and peaceful with great views

After the power company came and fixed the power issue on the 2nd day, we had A/C and non-flickering lights, so all was good. Wifi code was wrong but there is one on a refrigerator magnet that is correct. We plan to come back in the future.

The house had everything we needed and can’t beat that location! Across the street from beach with access through a short path over a low dune, outstanding views, and plenty of space for our 2 family group.

We appreciate the roominess and the great location to the beach as well. The unit was very clean when we moved in and we had an air conditioning unit that was resolved immediately. Family vacay 2023

The photos on line didn’t do the place justice. There were many upgrades. These should be highlighted. Also the photos showed a direct walk across to the beach but this was not the case. We had to walk up over a dune. This is not a problem unless you are 74 with asthma. I may have made a different selection. But the house and views were awesome and in a great location.

Family Fall Getaway

Our extended family stayed here together and had a great time. Easy access to the beach and still close to shopping and restaurants. The house is very roomy and perfect for big families with 2 complete kitchens and multiple seating areas.

2nd stay at Babes place

We love this place. As the title mentions it’s the second time we’ve stayed there and we love the views and the easy access to the beach!!! Enough room to fit the family but also enough room for us to get away from each other when we need to. Only issue was the three days or A/C units not working and night time temps min the house bing crazy high, but Michelle and Allison were great and in constant contact to ensure the problems were fixed. All in all love the place wish it was mine lol. Love the OBX!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our vacation was great but I did have to wait about 20 minutes to check in, though there was only one person in front of me. Two people were in the office with another in and out but one person spent her time tracking someone down for a phone call while the other was on the phone. The downstairs of the house was very dirty and this was not the first year for that to happen.

Cant check in till 4 pm and have to be out by eleven am. Really the house is wonderful. Wish I could get a discount for returning. 2019 will be our 4 th visit to this house. The only thing i wish could change would be new furniture. Replace those leather sofas and chairs. Love love love it.

Clean linens and towels but the place, especially the downstairs, was half *** cleaned. Sand ,cig butts, and empty coke cans under the bed. Broken fan in bedroom, broken back door handle, dusty.... Had to clean before unpacking. Will never stay there again.
