Welcome to The Cottage at Spring Harbor, a beautifully designed, modern home located along the peaceful channel leading to Smith Cove on Lake Winnipesaukee. One of two homes on this stunning 2-acre waterfront property, the Cottage offers a serene lakeside retreat just 5 miles from Gunstock Mountain Resort. Enjoy the quiet beauty of the water, breathtaking sunsets, and all the modern comforts you could want in a New England getaway.

Much more than a traditional “cottage,” this home combines stylish design with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The open-concept kitchen and living area features stainless steel appliances, elegant countertops, a kitchen island/dining table, and large windows that fill the space with natural light and lake views.

The main floor includes a queen bedroom and a Ÿ bathroom, offering easy access and comfort for guests of all ages.

Downstairs, you’ll find two additional bedrooms and a full bath:
Primary bedroom: King-size bed, sitting area, and walkout patio
Guest bedroom: Queen-size bed and twin bunk beds

Wake up to the quiet of the channel and start your day with a cup of coffee on one deck overlooking the water. In the evening, gather around the gas fire pit, grill dinner outdoors, or simply relax and enjoy the peaceful setting.

Guests have access to a shared dock with a designated boat slip (fits up to a 25-foot boat), plus four kayaks and four bicycles shared between both homes—perfect for exploring the lake and surrounding area. The Glendale Town Docks, just two minutes away, offer two public boat launch ramps, and a boat launch pass is available upon request.

Pet Policy:
We welcome one small dog per reservation (under 50 lbs). Please provide your dog’s breed and weight when booking; a pet fee applies. Cats and other animals are not permitted.

Whether you’re relaxing on the deck, paddling through the channel, or hitting the slopes at Gunstock, The Cottage at Spring Harbor offers the perfect balance of modern luxury and lakeside tranquility.

House was perfect. Very new and had all the amenities we were looking for with AC, porch, comfortable kitchen and living area, and lake/dock access. Peaceful, Scenic and Memorable Lake Stay

We recently spent six nights at this beautiful lake house and it exceeded every expectation! From the moment we arrived everything was perfect. Modern Lake Front Property with all Amenities & Dog Friendly

Our little family of 4 (Mom, Dad, 14 yo girl, 11 year old boy) wanted a chill relaxing place to have a workcation the week between when school ended and summer camps began. The owners are local and fantastic to deal with. The house came with everything we needed, including shampoo/conditioner, grill supplies, 4 bikes, 4 kayaks, a dock! Beth and Cody made sure we had everything we needed and checked in on us. Beth even gave us a tour of the lake on her boat! The kids were able to use the bikes to ride down to the beach and spend the day there. It was easy to launch the kayaks from the shed by the waterfront. When we say waterfront, we mean the backyard! There were also 2 firepits we could use, but we didn’t have time! The dog also had a wonderful time. They even left special treats for her and had a pooper scooper by the shed. We are totally coming back next year. Thanks again for sharing your love of the lake with us!

We are experienced hosts who have been renting out Spring Harbor for over four (4) years. This year we have decided to host directly with VRBO in order to maximize our guests' experience and to provide exceptional customer service.

The Lakes Region holds a very special place in our hearts, and we are excited to share it with you. The Big Lake is perfect for gathering your family and friends for some fun in the sun, relaxation, great food and drinks, and beautiful views!

While a couple of us call Gilford home and are available to assist with any immediate onsite needs during your stay, we ask that you please contact Beth first. Beth can be reached at the phone number provided in your initial confirmation email or through the VRBO app.

The Cottage at Spring Harbor is one of two home located on this beautiful 2 acre property located on a peaceful no wake channel that leads out to Smith Cove on Lake Winnipesaukee. This newly built home has been carefully thought out to meet your needs and can comfortably host up to 8 guests.

This home features three (3) bedrooms, a full bathroom, a 3/4 bathroom, and sleeps 8 guests! There is an open concept kitchen with stainless appliances, beautiful countertops and kitchen island/dining table, and living area with ample windows letting in the beauty of the natural lighting. The main floor also includes a bedroom with a queen size bed and a 3/4 bathroom. Venture downstairs to find two additional bedrooms. The primary bedroom offers a king bed, sitting area, and a walkout patio, while the other bedroom hosts a queen bed and twin bunkbeds. There is also a full bathroom on the lower level. Wake up and begin your day with a delicious cup of coffee sitting on one the deck looking down to the water’s edge.

The property is well equipped with 4 bicycles and 4 kayaks shared between both homes. There is a shared dock at the water's edge with a designated boat slip that fits up to a 25 foot boat. Just a 2 minute drive down the road is Glendale Town Docks with two boat launch ramps, we provide a boat launching pass upon request, where you can easily get your boat in the lake.

Please note: The boat slip at Spring Harbor is available with every reservation during the summer months (end of May through the end of September). The kayaks are available for use through the end of October.

The Cottage at Spring Harbor is not meant to be enjoyed just during the summer months. Come and see the view of the leaves changing in the fall or stay warm during the winter season by the fire in the cozy living space. The cottage is just 5 miles from Gunstock ski area where you can enjoy some wonderful hiking, skiing, and other outdoor adventures.
