Rustic winter mountain elegance abounds in this piece of Big Bear history. Built on an outlook overlooking the 4th tee and fairway of the Bear Mountain Golf Course, this magnificent home is spectacular inside and out. Take in the views with wooden decks perfectly positioned to see the fairway, mountains and ski slopes. One of a kind vintage masterpiece. Walking distance to the golf course club house, Bear Mountain ski resort and the zoo.
Kitchen: Fully equipped kitchen featuring a Kuerig, and coffee maker with coffee filters, and Starbucks espresso machine.
Living Room: Features comfortable leather couch, love seat along with beautiful views of the golf course, fireplace and Smart TV.
Master Bedroom: Features a queen size bed, night stand with small reading lamp, overhead ceiling light and large closet with shelving.
Bedroom Two: Features a queen size bed, double futon, a small refrigerator, 2 nightstands, 2 sets of French doors to the balcony along with a small closet, rocking chair, oil heater and a humidifier is located in the closet.
Bedroom Three: Bedroom three located on the second level of the home! Features a full size bed for comfort, Smart TV and an amazing window view.
Bedroom Four :Bedroom four is located at the basement level of the home and features a bunk bed with a twin size mattress on top and full size on the bottom.
Outdoor Space: Lots of decks and seating all facing the west and the golf course. Large lot and very quiet location. There is sledding in the winter in the back of our house on the golf course. Please use the gate on the left side of our lower lot that leads to the 4th tee. This will take you to the sledding area.
Moonridge is a hillside residential area on the south end of the Big Bear Valley and is surrounded by national forest. Moonridge is home to Bear Mountain Ski Resort, Bear Mountain Golf Course, Big Bear Alpine Zoo and the Moonridge Corridor.
Free Big Bear Trolley: Mountain Transit`s Free Big Bear Trolley service offers convenient and reliable transportation for both locals and visitors to help eliminate traffic congestion and car pollution in the City and greater Valley.
Traffic and illegal parking are a significant issue for Big Bear during the busy winter and summer seasons. We encourage everyone to leave their vehicles at their homes or rentals and hop on the Free Big Bear Trolley to navigate the town.
Three new routes have been specially designed to make accessing restaurants, grocery stores, retail shops, ski resorts, snow play areas, parks and work easy and efficient.
Download the Trolley App and use the live tracker to see when the next trolley is headed to your stop.
Parking Instructions:
3 cars in the driveway, one car to the far right of the yard, one very small car can fit into the garage.
Walking distance to the golf course club house, Bear Mountain ski resort and the zoo.
Please do not go on the neighbors property to the left of our house, go through the 4th tee and down.
Amenities for Babies and/or Young children:
Pak and play, stroller, puzzles, books and games.
Please remember these rules are mandated and imposed solely by the CITY and our PERMIT/ORDINANCE which requires property management companies to notify all guests that the CITY requires you to sign a rental agreement and the Good Neighbor Brochure to obtain the code to the property as well as provide a copy in the rental agreement app a copy of Governmental ID that matches the name on the reservation. Please notate these and all rules regarding spa hours, trash removal, noise and dishes being washed are due to our permit and not our rules so please keep this in mind before booking as some guests rate us based on rules we must abide by to rent. We appreciate that they are unique rules please do not review us based on the reviews we need to follow, we appreciate it. The code cannot be sent until this agreement is filled out.
(1) Maximum vehicles and guest occupancy permitted is described in the listing. Any violation is subject to eviction and/or cancellation of your stay. If you need additional parking, please contact us directly.
(2) Big Bear Lake does not allow street parking; they will tow any vehicles parked on the street and any towing fees or fines issued are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.
(3) Excessive noise or loud music heard at the property line is prohibited by the CITY for the consideration of the local residents. The CITY enforces quiet hours from 10:00 PM â 7:00 AM and will send out code enforcement officers to issue fines/and or evict guests for any violations reported. There will be a $300 administrative fine per Code Call for our team to show up as we are required to attend such code call within 30 minus, plus $100 per hour of our time spent for the violation. This is IN ADDITION to any fines issued by Code Enforcement which start at $500 to $5000 per violation.
(4) Dishes - All dishes must be cleaned before leaving and the house must be left in the same condition that you found it in. Any dirty dishes left in the kitchen are subject to a $45 fee- our housekeepers will unload dishes or put them away but do not wash dishes or dump trash per the law this includes leaving dishes with food on them or left in the home. It also attracts vermin. Please note this is part of our permit and not included in cleaning the home after guests leave.
(5) Trash - All trash must be removed offsite to the free trash sites. Any bags or trash left behind in the bathroom, kitchen (including leaving behind items in the fridge, or outside is subject to a $25 per bag for removal this is not our rule - this is the law and we must abide by it as there is no trash service due to wild animals. Please do not review us based on the law. We provide a dump service if you should want to pay in advance, but we have to send a dump service we cannot have housekeepers take the trash as the CITY does not allow this.
(6) Barbecue- Propane is offered on the honor system on any firepit or BBQ. Please do not leave the firepit or BBQ on unattended. Please clean the BBQ after use. If by chance the propane runs out, please let us know and we will send someone to replace it. Please make sure all propane is turned off after use. Big Bear does not allow the use of charcoal of lighter fluid. Please be advised if you run out of propane and it is after hours we cannot promise after hours refills late at night as the stores may not be open.
(7) Pet- The home is strictly not pet friendly as the owners have severe allergies. Any violation is subject to eviction and a $3500 fine plus damages to the home will be charged.
(8) Hot Tub â No hot tub use after 10pm per the law any time a spa is left open and the cover off more than 30 mins a fine of $250 per hour will be due plus damages to the spa as this can result in pipes freezing - if a user error or maintenance is found or if we have to dump and fill water prior to your stay due to cleanliness requirements - we cannot be held liable nor grant refunds for a spa not being at the temperature desired or if left uncovered - if we have to dump the water it can take 24 hours for it to warm up. This is out of our control as sometimes the water has to be dumped and can take 24 hours to warm up. This will not be grounds for a refund.
(9) Parties or noise ordinance calls â any parties, events, unauthorized guests or noise complaints will result in immediate eviction with no refund. Any party will incur $5,000 fine plus immediate eviction.
(10) No over occupancy - $500 per person over occupancy fine plus damages plus immediate eviction and subject to code call fines.
(11) No smoking, vaping or drugs inside our cabins at any time. Any evidence of violation is grounds for immediate eviction from the cabin and a $3500 plus damages found at the home.
(12) Please refrain from bringing your own BBQs, Firepits and or outside cooking devices are banned by the CITY due to the fire safety hazards. This is subject to eviction due to this is how fires start.
(13) Due to the mountain location, Big Bear and the surrounding areas are known to have occasional power and internet outages due to circumstances beyond our control. Power outages are usually brief, lasting a few hours or less and the city always tries to work quickly to get it back up and running. There are no refunds at anytime for power or internet outages due to normal mountain conditions, as these are beyond our control.
(14) The Mountain community area does not have air conditioning, and the availability of fans may vary depending on the property description. High temperatures or heat will not be grounds for a refund, as many cabins do not include air conditioning unless specifically stated.
Please keep in mind you must be 25 years old to book.
