All linens, cookware and supplies are provided to all of our guests, all of the time.
We care about your stay and hope to have you as our guest very soon!

We also provide a pack and play portable crib and high chair for guests traveling with infants and small children.
One non-shedding, potty trained dog is also welcome at this home, with additional pet fee however pets can never be left unattended in or outside the home.
Guests understand air mattresses and sofa sleeping are not permitted at the property, extra blankets and sheets are not provided.
Guests acknowledge that some homes provide central A/C while others provide portable rolling high efficiency A/C units. Please inquire first.
This property may or may not have surveillance cameras installed in common areas for security purposes only. Any such cameras (if applicable) are strictly limited to public common areas and are expressly prohibited in any location where a reasonable expectation of privacy exists, in accordance with California Penal Code 647(j).
Good Neighbor Policy and city regulations require the use of decibel monitoring devices when located in residential areas.

* Strict no party, social gatherings policy - only guests listed on the rental agreement are permitted on premises.

This was the cleanest VRBO Ive ever stayed in!!! Such a great location too. Amazing yard! Wish there as AC in all the rooms, it was very warm while we were there. But overall everything is just perfect at this home.

Best location for a mom/daughter weekend!

This place was absolutely perfect for a mother/daughter get away! We were in town for Memorial Day and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we took long walks along the coastline enjoyed our time around the fire and coffee while people watching.

Awesome house

We really enjoyed our stay, this house has a great location opposite the beaches and parks. Very walkable and lovely neighborhood, we hope to return!

Lovely long weekend with the family

This house is perfect for a family. Great location, very clean and very well stocked. The backyard is wonderful for a dog. We enjoyed it very much and will be coming back.

Perfect!

This is an incredibly comfortable home - small, but perfect for me and my wife and our dog. The location is also perfect. A 5 minute drive to state street, wonderful walking park across the street, Lazy Acres grocery up the road, beach a short 5 minute walk away. Love this home!

Great location! Ocean right across the street

I enjoyed my stay at the Shoreline cottage. It was the perfect location! Ocean views, park, sunset and close to everything in SB. Super clean and nice beds, bathrooms, kitchen, backyard, etc. Not all windows have screens and portable AC units may not be enough in the heat of summer but the ocean breeze cooled things down and it wasn't too hot in March. Great location if you bring your fur baby, lots of park/grass to walk and enjoy the ocean views.

Thank you Jennifer for bringing this up. Most of the homes in Santa Barbara do not have A/C and it's rarely needed and not plumbed for central heat or A/C due to the age of the homes. We do provide high efficiency units just in case that are terrific on warmer days. As well, we rarely have any bugs and screens impede the views for sure. The large slider does have a screen door. To have these views, be able to bring your dog and for 1/5th the price of a hotel, this property is quite an amazing deal, we agree!

Such a cute property!! Decorated perfectly for my Last Toast on the Coast Bachelorette!! I would like to recommend some extra blankets and a couple full length mirrors, but other than that we loved it! I would totally come back and bring my dog since it’s directly across from the park!!

Thank you so much Jenna! We really appreciate the feedback and great review. We have alerted the property owner and they will be adding some mirrors and a couple throw blankets. Due to Covid and post covid measures, we are limited on the linens that can be provided due to needing to be washed and bleached after each guest stay but the ones on the bed are nice and warm. Cute little getaway

Pros: Great location. Cute house. Super clean. Nice layout and amenities. Cons: really need A/C. Old house retains heat and never cools off. They have small portable units but they are very inefficient. There are no screens on any windows so I couldn’t really figure that out. If you are okay with heat you’ll love it!

Unfortunately this guest was not happy prior to their arrival as we were not able to help with an arrival 3 hours early. We always try our best to make sure guests are well-taken care of and if a home is available early, we love to help make the stay that much more enjoyable. We went to the home on 2 occasions as she said the heater was on which it was not, she just needed to open a window as sometimes the living room sun depending on time of year will come through but opening the screen door cools it instantly. It's always hard for property owners that try very hard to provide as close to perfect accommodations and then have false information posted online as a way to solicit a refund. We can assure all guests there are screens on all windows and the most wonderful ocean breezes in this gorgeous cottage. The owner does provide 2 high efficiency A/C units for the very few days we might get over 80 each year but most definitely the home is NOT hot as this guest comments. Also, this remodeled cottage is not able to have central air due to the age of the home and heating set up. We understand that we cannot please everyone all the time even with our best efforts.

Lovely spot - No AC

This property was lovely - clean, new, well decorated. The only issue was the listing says it has AC but it doesn't, and the heat only vents out to the living room. We all had to keep our bedroom doors open to get even a little bit of the living room heat to travel into the bedrooms. The listing is inaccurate there. Also, the lighting in the living room is harsh and the overhead light flickers. Definitely need a lamp in there! Overall nice though.

Thank you Matthew! With the recent changes on the VRBO website with their new Key Rewards Program, the explanation of type of A/C was removed which used to reference "portable rolling A/C unit (2)". Thank you for bringing to our attention! We are sorry you did not find the high efficiency rolling A/C units in 2 of the closets. We will put them out now. They do an amazing job cooling the home! With the cooler weather we have had this winter and spring, they were put away. The property owner just remodeled the property and without the ability to put in central A/C and heat due to the age of the home, this was the best solution. We do hope to have you back in the future and appreciate you bringing this up so other guests know before booking. We have also alerted VRBO they need to bring back the "type" of A/C!
