The famous author, Stephen King, and family, own a sugarhouse steps from the property for turning sap into delicious and natural maple syrup, which is temporarily closed to the public. Pietree apple orchard is also owned by the family and is just down the road and will hopefully be open next season to the public

Rent a boat at beautiful Kezar Lake, a personal favorite of ours on the hot summers, is only 8 miles away, with the magnificent white mountains in the background, free public pet friendly beach on town beach road with private picnic sites, or eat at the Loons Nest Restaurant
