Hello Grant, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. We believe that’s a retaliation review because we ask you to pay an extra cleaning fee for the extended cleaning was need it after your visit. We would like to clarify that the additional cleaning charge was applied by our professional cleaning company due to the condition of the floors after shoes were worn inside the property during snowy conditions. This resulted in significant snow and salt residue, particularly near the entry from the garage area into the coffee room who has hardwood floors, which required extended cleaning. As outlined in our house rules, shoes are not permitted inside the home, and these rules are agreed to at the time of booking.You didn’t follow any of them. Regarding the kitchen, the absence of shades or curtains is fully disclosed and clearly visible in the listing photos. All other areas of the home, including the living room and bedrooms, are equipped with drapes that can be closed to ensure privacy. Concerning the temperature, the home is equipped with a Nest thermostat that is easy to adjust. From the beginning of the stay through checkout, we did not receive any communication from you regarding this or any other concern. We sent all check-in information in advance and attempted to follow up during the stay. Had we been informed of any issues, we would have been happy to help.Was no communication from you.
