2025 Family Abacos Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We are very very familiar with Elbow and have vacationed here many times both with the family and just the two of us...sometimes multiple times in a summer. Indicas is an exceptional house with a great location just north of White Sound. Easy to walk to the Abaco Inn on days a golf cart is scarce...also close to Mackey's and a convenience store. The boat dock is very protected and is either a short golf cart ride or walk away...we preferred the morning walk together. The house is set up well for either couples or adult children...small children as well. Very clean and brighth...open and spacious...plentiful rom and outside porches. Clean and open feel. Great views from the upper floor.Issues we dealt with: Air conditioner on the main floor struggled to keep the main floor comfortable, upstairs AC was excellent (yes...we're familiar with the climate and AC). House literally had no pots and only one pan, we requested and they were delivered (not what you'd expect at $13,000 a week). The area around the dock was undergoing grading and excavation, which concerned us regarding moving the boat in and out of the slip )it is over now). Possible concerns if you have small children, which we didn't: Areas near the stairs are not protected, that is, open areas exist where a small child could fall into the stairwell. Also...the most upper room, which we didn't use, doesn't have a railing around the stair opening, hence it would be very easy to simply fall into the stairwell.We loved the house and location and will likely consider it again for return trips with couples in particular. I would say Indicas is about as good as it gets in the Abacos! Enjoy!

Thank you for the kind review in spite of the a/c issues you experienced. The air conditioning problems have been addressed and updated. The owners have been made aware of the lack of pots and pans. We were not informed of the dock work and we do apologize on behalf of the owner.
