Enjoyable Stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Second Wind and look forward to staying here again. Convenient to multiple spots including the beach, On Da Beach Bar, coffee shop, and little convenience store. Wonderful memories were made.

Perfect location!

Super nice house in the best location! Easily walk to a cute little bakery and to a great seaside restaurant! Megan was very helpful and communicative. Will definitely recommend and hope we can come back soon!

Fun fun fun

We had a wonderful quick weekend stay at Second Wind. We rented a boat that we kept nearby. House was wonderful!! They didn’t forget a thing!! Perfectly located right behind On Da Beach. I can’t recommend this house more highly. The owner Megan was very nice over the top responsive.

Chill at the beach

The location of the house and the size of the house met all our needs. Easy two minute walk to the beach and restaurant and bar. Great isle to navigate around with a golf cart for all the restaurants and other beaches. Highly recommend elbow key and second wind.

Great location. Beautiful house with everything we needed inside. Owner was in great communication with me and checked in by text. Great island with alot to explore and great restaurants to eat at. If you want to cook at the house, everythinv is there and very close to grocert store too.

5 Stars – Absolute Paradise at Second Wind!We just returned from an unforgettable stay at Second Wind in Hope Town, and I can’t say enough good things about it. The house is even more beautiful in person—bright, breezy, spotless, and perfectly set up for relaxing island life. The views are incredible from every angle, especially from the front porch!The location is ideal—close enough to the settlement, restaurants & marinas and are just golf cart ride away. The beach is just steps away, and is perfect for boating, swimming, and just soaking it all in.The communication with the owner was absolutely impeccable—quick, helpful, and so friendly. Every question was answered promptly, and it really made the whole experience seamless from start to finish.The hosts have thought of everything—fully stocked kitchen, comfy beds, reliable Wi-Fi (even in paradise!), and all the little touches that made us feel at home from the minute we walked in. You can tell a lot of love and care has gone into this place.If you’re looking for the perfect blend of laid-back charm, comfort, and true Bahamian beauty, Second Wind is it. We’ll absolutely be back!

Clean home within a short walk to the beach.

We had a wonderful stay at Second Wind. House had basic amenities with a clean house and comfortable beds. The front porch was especially nice. We spent a lot of time out there in the afternoon and evening. Clint was responsive and helpful getting my in-laws to the house and checked in. I would love to return one day.

Second Wind was the perfect vacation home for our family on elbow cay!

We loved the location and were able to GC anywhere on the island. The caretaker and owner were both super responsive. I would highly recommend this house.

Loved the overall stay and location, the house is perfect for a family vacation. Close to Hopetown, walk to the beach in a minute, and several restaurants right around the house. The house is new, clean, and tastefully decorated. Great communication with host who was very helpful. Will be back!

Great location

My wife and I were looking for a quick holiday getaway with our three young adult children and this property was perfect. Everything went smoothly, we loved watching the waves from the front porch, and On Da Beach (bar) was a quick few steps away. We biked all over the island and had a great time. Highly recommend for the right size group.

Spring Break Respite

Absolutely a wonderful experience and great property for our family of five. This was our first trip to the Abacos and it is a trip we will always treasure. We are sad to leave but we are headed home feeling closer together as a family. Thank God!!!

Excellent getaway!

We enjoyed our stay at Second Wind! This is a great location central to everything. We had a quick trip to Hopetown for a wedding but we want to come back for longer next time. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this house again. I would have loved to have access to beach chairs is my only recommendation. Thanks for a great stay!

Perfect Place

Second Wind was perfect for our family. It is conveniently located to LVA and Hope Town and only a short golf cart ride to all the island has to offer. The front porch is a great place to watch the sun and moon rise. Beautifully appointed, and the host was most helpful and courteous throughout our stay. We hope to come again!
