Foggy Notion Nantucket

Welcome to our family home! Foggy Notion is a stately colonial, surrounded by oaks and abutting 116 acres of Massachusetts State Forest. Nestled at the end of a private road, the house is easily accessible by bicycle or shuttle bus. A pleasant bike ride through the State Forest will get you to Fisherman's, Madequecham or Surfside Beaches.

The house boasts an open kitchen, dining and living room plan, ideal for socializing. Our kitchen island seats three and our dining room seats eight. A powder room at the entrance is convenient for your visitors. Our home office is a quiet and private place for reading, catching up on work, yoga and more.

On our full-length back deck you'll find additional dining and lounging space.

Upstairs, all our bedrooms are equipped with room darkening shades. The generous primary suite provides ample space and privacy. The primary bathroom is spacious with great lighting and a roomy glass shower cabin. Two additional bedrooms are cozy and thoughtfully appointed. The hall bathroom has a full bath/shower and a washer and dryer in the closet.

We have a generous front and back yard with many mature oaks.

Please note: In some cases, extreme weather may impede travel to the island. In these circumstances, we are not able to provide refunds, partial or otherwise. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover the cost of your trip in the event of a weather-related travel disruption.
