Great Getaway!

This little cabin was perfect for our weekend away! The house was cleaned and beautiful. Lots of thoughtful touches throughout and the host was excellent. They are fully stocked — everything we thought we might need was already there! Great spot for kids and adults.

Relaxing getaway in the mountains

Beautiful property, comfortable furniture and bedding, and superbly equipped with all the amenities you could think of to enjoy your stay away from home. Host was very proactive of our needs and responsive during the stay. Will come visit again for a getaway in the mountains!

We had a great long weekend in the beautiful mountains. This house has nice outdoor areas, and I loved the serenity of the woods. Communication with the owner and property manager was awesome!

Wintergreen Vacation

My family and I had a wonderful long weekend! The cabin had everything we wanted and more. The hot tub and game room added the extra special experience we were looking for. Chris was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. Can’t wait to stay there again!

Nice Weekend Away

We stayed for the long Memorial Day weekend. The house was just as described in the listing. Even though there is no ac we were very comfortable. After several days I still couldn’t manage Wintergreen without GPS but that may be a me problem. Bring your groceries with you. The local IGA is lacking. The owners were very good with communication. Overall a very peaceful weekend.

We are Bianca and Chris, and we are so excited that you have chosen Quisisana South as your rental property!

The roots of Quisisana South date back to 2001, when we first met in Maine at a resort called Quisisana, very similar to the type of resort you’ve seen in the movie, Dirty Dancing. Bianca was an opera singer and Chris was working in the kitchen, and those young 22 year olds fell in love almost instantly!

Times have changed a lot since then, adding two kiddos, a few dogs, cats, and chickens to the mix, plus moving from Maine to NYC to VA, but we’ve always carried Quisisana in our hearts and look forward to sharing the spirit of that magical place with you!

The outdoor hot tub is your ticket to ultimate relaxation among the trees. Ski by day, cozy up by the fire by night. Hike the Old Appalachian Trail or unleash your competitive side in the game room with darts and ping pong. Cap off the day with forest vibes around the outdoor firepit. No matter the season, fun is the name of the game at our memory-making retreat!

Wintergreen has miles of hiking trails and an excellent kid-friendly trail is the Shamokin Springs Loop. This kid-friendly trail offers a delightful stroll that can be completed in around 45 minutes, featuring mostly flat terrain.

Tucked away amidst the lush greenery, our cabin is thoughtfully designed with your family in mind.

The cabin is located on the 5th hole of the Devil's Knob golf course. During times when the course isn't in use (Winter and evenings), it becomes an extension of your backyard, offering an additional space for relaxation and recreation providing the perfect backdrop for a leisurely stroll, a family game of catch, or a place for the kids to run and play freely.
