This home is not recommended for anyone with mobility issues)

Fantastic location and very nicely appointed house. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. The deck facing the ocean is perfect for relaxing and taking in the beautiful sunsets. This was a perfect place for Grandparents, qa Mom and Dad and two kids.

Long Summer Weekend

Great house and location with beautiful ocean view and a short walk to the beach and into town. Manzanita has limited restaurant hours even in the summer, which seems odd for a beach town in the summer, so you may have to drive or cook more than planned. We will stay here again!

A treasure indeed

The Tranquil Treasure house was all that we hoped it would be and more. It was very clean and well supplied with more condiments and staple kitchen items than I have ever experienced before. Lots of extra blankets, games, books, and dvd's with comfortable bedding and such great views. The check in and out instructions were very helpful too. It's an easy walk to town and the beach. I can't think of anything that was missing from the description or our experience at all and will recommend it to my friends and family without hesitation. It is a well loved home and we appreciate being able to stay there.

Perfect stay. Interesting home with artistic details. Everything you'd need for a comfortable stay. Walk to beach across the street. We took a figure drawing class at the Hoffman Art Gallery. Shopped at the Farmers Market on Friday. Highly recommended this house and location.

The kitchen is large and well stocked, and the outdoor spaces allow you to adjust sun and wind to your preference. The house is decorated with enough quirky, fun things to be cozy, while not feeling like you're intruding in the midst of someone else's space. Everything was clean, comfortable, and in good shape. Highly recommend. (Stairs not a problem for we 70-year-olds.)

It was lovely without being fancy, with high quality furnishings, beds, linens. and duvets. The kitchen was very well equipped. The view and location can't be beat. We loved all the windows all around. The property managers are local and readily available for questions, which is a rare find these days. Lots of little thoughtful touches, like good lights and a little treat bag. It was too cold to use the deck, but in the summer it would be great because it's covered and shaded while still having a view. We were so comfortable here!

Beautiful but a Challenge

Property is beautiful, clean, easy access to beach. Parking is very difficult. Instructions for how to park were on a bullitan board in the kitchen ( a bit late) instead of communicated with the confirmation instructions. Also, the need to climb up a hill and many steps from the parking area to the front door was a huge and diifficult surpirse for us as one of us recently had open heart surgery and we are both 75. Very hard to haul our bags, food etc up from the car. We would not have rented the property if we knew this in advance.

Location, cleanliness , comfort, proximity to beach and town are all perfect. You truly feel like a guest in someone's well loved home. Even better now that it is under local management. Heads up for aging and/or folks with mobility issues: the driveway is steep and stairs are the only access point to the home. Additionally, all bedrooms are downstairs and the main living space and kitchen are upstairs.

Reviewer Comments: This is a beautiful house with a fabulous view and the best location, a few minutes walk to town and the beach path right across the street! Beds are deliciously cozy and comfy, the kitchen well equipped. Full of wonderful artwork and a cupboard full of games and books. This house was made with love and lovingly cared for! It is a great find in a super lovely spot. You will need to navigate some steps to get to the main upper floor but there are plenty of sturdy, safe railings. And, once you are there you will find super comfortable spots to sit and enjoy the amazing view.
