This is your home away from home! Imagine living in a newly renovated gem from the 1930's. This comfortable, designer-showcase offers a cottage feel with a tasteful-twist of whimsy, sophistication and fun! Color and style abound throughout this charming home from the inviting exterior to the one-of-a-kind designed interior. Located in the convenient Central Oak Park neighborhood close to downtown Sacramento, UCD Med Center, Sutter hospital, Shriners hospital, entertainment & restaurants!
The space
The home is a 1,358 sq. ft. 3 bedroom 2 bath two story updated/remodeled cottage inspired home. Upon entering this architectural abode you will notice the coved ceilings, smooth plaster walls, large baseboards, and solid core interior doors. A blend of the past with the new. A stunning residence with features that will make your stay comforting and enjoyable.
The cozy living room offers velvet chairs, a chesterfield sofa, and whimsical zebra benches along with a rich color palette of art and accessories. The tasteful furnishings and designer touches enhance this room with charm and character to enjoy and relax in.
The brand-new kitchen is the heart of this home which opens to the delightful dining area. The dreamy new kitchen showcases a tuxedo color-coordinated black and white cabinetry, designer tiled backsplash and sleek quartz counters along with stainless steel appliances. Plenty of natural lighting, designer light fixtures, ample seating, and a vast peninsula island make this a perfect space to hang out, eat, entertain, and create your culinary creations. The nicely appointed kitchen is complemented with new appliances, utensils, cookware, and glasses/dishes.
Two downstairs bedrooms are located off of the hall with a full bathroom. The main bedroom downstairs offers a queen-sized bed and plenty of storage in a dreamy color palette with complementary art and furnishings. The whimsical secondary downstairs bedroom/office, offers a day/trundle bed, full working desk, and dresser. The downstairs full bath features a furniture-style vanity sink with a quartz countertop, and a tub/shower with quartz wall surrounds with a unique designer touch.
The upstairs is a private sanctuary with the primary bedroom, full bath plus a retreat/office loft area. The Primary bedroom is relaxing with a king-sized bed, plenty of storage with furnishings along with a large walk-in closet. The adjacent updated bath has an easy-care vanity sink, designer flooring, and a shower with quartz walls. The loft/sitting area or office has two reading chairs, a full desk, and a large linen storage cabinet. This upstairs is a pleasant retreat to enjoy, study, work, and relax.
With the updated modern conveniences such as central heat and air conditioning, a security alarm system, an efficient tankless hot water heater, new appliances along with a full laundry room with a new washer/dryer and plenty of storage. Makes this home function with ease.

The entire interior of the home with the exception of the closet in the den/loft area is the owners closet for storage. You will not have access to the detached one car garage due to owner storage and use.

Owners are working on finishing the front and backyard landscaping (as the weather permits), the staircase to the upstairs is a little steep, there are two bedrooms downstairs and one up.
