The Garden Cottage House with stunning large pool/jacuzzi, baby grand piano

From this centrally located country home and garden, you can unwind and enjoy small family get-togethers. You will find surprises at every turn as it is entirely equipped with every possible amenity that one could hope for and more.
The gorgeous park-sized pool and spa is superb. The jacuzzi is large enough for small children to swim! The pool is surrounded by beautiful landscaping, jasmine vines, and baby fruit trees. The heating of the jacuzzi and/or pool is not included in the base price but varies by season. Please ask for details. A BBQ is available if you are more of an outdoor gourmet! Enjoy the garden views of the sunset poolside or make s’mores at the fire pit. There is a children's playground outdoors with a cozy toddler swing, regular swing and a trapeze bar. There is plenty of space indoors for play and activities. Games, cards, juggling, puzzles for all ages, an oversized smart t.v., a large array of books, cookbooks, etc... Adults and supervised children can play piano on the stunning electric baby grand piano. This property feels like a private oasis in the middle of the city.
A private gate encloses the front yard at night and the large back yard is completely enclosed . An outdoor Ring/Doorbell camera faces the entrance/entry pathway for extra security. A smart lock allows you to have your own personal entry code. All night "partying" and in/out guests will be asked to leave. We welcome caring folks to enjoy the special beauty of this home and the stunning backyard with a diverse array of flora and fauna.

Great hosts and the property is accurate as described in the pictures. We stayed here for a 2 day volleyball tournament in Roseville. Very quiet and perfect for 2 families to share. Nice pool and nice amenities provided by the host. We will definitely book this property again when in the area.

Cozy, Cute & Comfortable!

We were in the area to visit family, and this home exceeded my expectations. The house is furnished with lots of little extras that really make it feel like a home, and the backyard pool area & gardens were perfect for unwinding at the end of the day. We will definitely be back!

We had a very nice stay in this hidden cottage. Huge swimming pool and garden to chill out and close to lot of amenities. Hosts have taken lot of care in ensuring all amenities are available. Would love to come back

Amazing

I can’t say enough about the owners and the property. Ginger and Joe have thought of absolutely everything you could need to have a pleasant stay. They were so gracious and warm plus the house was clean, well-stocked, and comfortable. The grounds were beautiful and we had a very relaxing time. I’d recommend this getaway to everyone. Citrus Heights Cottage

Everything about this property is great, they have thought of everything. Wonderful AC, important in the Sac area. Fully equipped kitchen. Really clean. Comfortable beds. The pool is giant and so is the hot tub, also both very clean and such a treat for the Sacramento heat. It was very quiet. I felt safe, important for a person traveling alone. I would stay again.

Amazing property amazing owners. The state was nothing less than perfect. Ginger went above average.

The state was nothing less than perfect. I can’t emphasize how great the owners of this property are. They literally went out of their way always to make sure that we were comfortable. The house was nothing less than perfect and their hot tub is 100% worth spending a few extra dollars per night. I will for sure be asking to stay here anytime I come to visit my daughter in college first.

Outstanding

We couldn't have asked for more with our stay. The property was outstanding and everything we could have asked for. The property was clean and well equipped during our stay. Our hosts were fantastic and very warm and welcoming when we arrived. They wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. We will planning another trip to Sacramento and would love to stay again if the property is available. It was a very relaxing vacation because of the property and especially our hosts.

Lovely Home, Lovely Pool, Lovely Hosts

We had a fabulous time at Citrus Heights! My friend and I brought our 10 and 12 years old boys for an awesome visit. We went and visited Gold Country and Quarry Park by day and hung out at the pool at night. It was just what we all needed. My only complaint is that they don't have other openings that fit my schedule, because I'd love to bring my husband and daughter back with us for a family vacation.

Hidden gem!

Ginger and Joe are the nicest people. We stayed for 6 nights and it was perfect. There's literally everything you need in the house to cook. Spices are well stocked, the knives actually are sharp and we had every pot or pan you could imagine. The pool is huge and all yours when you stay there. I have not one complaint about our stay. We have already booked our next trip. Absolutely the best, cleanest, rental we have booked. Close to everything but when you're at the house you feel far away. It's very private and quiet. We have been booking a vacation for the last 20 years, twice a year, and this is the best. I'd give 10 stars if I could! Thanks Ginger and Joe!

This rental is amazing. We had such a great time while we stayed here. The house is beautiful, very clean ,smelled great and all the little touches make it feel very homey and relaxing. The yard is huge and beautiful. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. The owners were great!! Anything we needed they were right there to help out. They went up and beyond to make sure our time there was great and it was. My only complaint and suggestion would be that it says that it has 3 beds 2 queens and a king, but it only has 1king and 1 queen bed. The other bed is a queen air mattress. Just something to keep in mind. Other then that this house is definitely worth renting and would definitely do it again. 😁. Thanks Joe and Ginnger for all the help and for letting enjoy your beautiful home💕 Thank u Stacey

Property is beautiful and very well cared for. Met the owners and they are terrific. The property is tucked back from the street so it seems like you are away from people which was very relaxing. Just what we needed. And we really enjoyed the pool.

Ginger and Joe are wonderful. Communication was outstanding. The property was great. They have everything you need for a family. CRIBS, baby monitor, high chair, toys. Kitchen fully stock. Amazing Dog Friendly Home Away from Home

The property and has was even more amazing in person! Large fully fenced yard, lawn area, pool, and hot tub. On the same property as the owners but still secluded enough that you don’t feel like you’re a bother to anyone. Easy parking, full amenities throughout the house, cannot wait to stay again!

Ginger is a former teacher who loves kids, families & hosting. Ginger and Joseph were foster parents to a host of children and enjoy walks at the park across the street, entertaining people, playing pickle ball across the street, cooking and baking, and going to theatre productions of our own children!
We have lived in the Sacramento area most of our lives and enjoy giving back to our community. We enjoy treating our guests and making them feel like they are in a special place, a beloved home away from home.

Ginger goes out of her way to create a space for you that is cozy & beautiful with EVERY possible amenity you can think of so guests can truly feel at home without any worry about what they may have forgotten to pack. Special soaps, lotions, cute bedding, blankets, play areas all in a setting that is meticulously organized and clean.
Guests have commented that Ginger should be an interior designer and surely she shops a lot to make her guest house stunningly beautiful.
