We loved our stay at this house. Truly well equipped for an enjoyable vacation. The secluded beach was awesome. We had our boat at the mooring and a dinghy was provided to go back and forth . There are kayaks and floats to use as well. We brought our dog and he had the time of his life. House has everything needed for a fantastic lake vacation.
This house was even better than we expected from the photos and description! The view was wonderful and we canât do it justice with words. We all had a very relaxing time⊠The grandkids dug in the sand for hours, and we also enjoyed the kayaks every day. We picnicked outside for lunch, and most nights only went in at dinnertime to eat and play games before bed. We enjoyed a fire 2 evenings, and the stone fire pit at the edge of the beach was our favorite. We ate pizza outside from Randyâs Wooster St Pizza (really good!), then made s'mores. The kitchen was well supplied. The beds were comfortable. The large, open living area was spacious for our group to hang out. We are hoping to return next year, and are already making lists for the items we wish we had brought this time!
We found these accommodations great met all our needs. Great location at end of road with no Traffic. Kitchen well stocked With cooking utensils.
Beautiful view of the lake enjoyed sitting out at beachfront. A great place to stay reasonably priced.
Highly recommend.
This is our annual family time :) We love being at the lake and swimming and paddling with plenty of games in the evenings. Couldnât find a better place to be- the house suits our group and has all that we need. Wonderful view of the water, and the beach is perfect for the kids. Kitchen has a wide variety of gadgets and gizmos. Wish we were still there!
The house is clean, comfortable and has everything you need. The windows give you a perfect view of the lake. Itâs a super quiet and relaxing part of the lake. The water is crystal clear, and the kids loved the sandy beach. The house is well stocked and thoughtfully decorated to provide lots of seating options. Lizzie was a great host too!
We love coming to this lake house. Itâs in a nice quiet cove that seems tucked away from most of the boat traffic on the lake. Perfect for a week away to relax and enjoy some sun and swimming.
We really enjoyed our stay on Sebago at the Lake House! It was a cozy cottage with a rustic feel of camp with the amenities of a home. The property was perfect for enjoying the sun on the beach and taking a break from the sun up on the lawn. We plan to come back again soon!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Weather was fantastic.
Enjoyed the privacy of the cottage. The cottage was nicely laid out allowing for young children to move about with eyes on them.
I had my first experience with the friendly caterpillars. They left their calling card. Not so nice!
The beach was an added treat for the little ones to play.
What a wonderful house in the lake! The beach is just perfect for the kids and the protected cove a great place to swim and paddle around. We loved our stay and will be back :)
We enjoyed a relaxing vacation getaway. Unfortunately, it rained most of the week, but we took advantage of the.time.inside to play games. It is a lovely property, especially.the beach.area. Sarah the property manager was.terrific, and was always available.to problem solve small issues,.such as difficulty using the televisions. It was a great experience overall.
This was our 2nd time staying at this property. We enjoy the lovely beach with its wonderful view. The cove is quiet and feels nicely tucked away for big Sebago. The house itself has everything you need for a vacation by the lake. Loved the fire pit for making sâmores!
The house was great! Clean, fresh flowers, comfortable beds. Beautiful lake. The beach, which was the main reason we chose this one, not so much. Lots of scat in the grass and sand had not been cleaned from the winter. Also, the dock was misrepresented and not present. Neighbor opened fire at family of Canadian geese, including babies, with a .22. Not cool.
This was our second summer staying in this house for a week with our daughters family. The grandkids spent the week in the lake swimming and paddling; parents and grandparents trying to keep up with them. We have decided that this is our summer destination- the sandy cove is a perfect spot for our group including kids 4-9. We will be back :)
Plenty of sitting areas. Large kitchen with plenty of supplies.
Pretty view. You must like dogs as there were plenty wandering freely.
Stoney waterfront but sandy beach area.
We had such a wonderful time. The house, location & amenities were more than we had hoped for. We all felt comfortable immediately upon entering and were welcomed by a very big & friendly dog, Frye who was later joined by Sugar & Aggie & a couple more, I didn't get the names of, but all were sweet and friendly (you must love dogs to stay here & fortunately, we do) The only issue was the dogs, being dogs, would relieve themselves anywhere they desired and we had to clean up a few times.
The lake was gorgeous! Crystal clear and warm. We were in it many times every day. It is the perfect lake atmosphere. I highly recommend water shoes as the entry to the lake is rocky and the sand can get hot on the beach. We were provided with floats & kayaks, that were clean and easily accessible, and we used them a lot.
There was plenty of seating inside & out in both sunny and shaded areas. The firepit area was perfect. Although we left our remaining firewood, I recommend grabbing some before you arrive because once you're there, you won't want to leave.
But, if you do decide to venture out, we went to a pick your own flower farm in Windham and the causeway in Naples as well as a taco restaurant in Bridgeton.
We were there during a very hot weather week. I'm not complaining because I love the warm weather but be sure to bring a fan or two for the main living space. The master bedroom has an a/c unit that cools 2 bedrooms if you keep the bedroom door open and the hall door closed.
We were incredibly happy here and hope to return next Summer.
We so enjoyed our time at your home. It felt like our home. Very well stocked (could use one or two sharp filet knives) with all that a family could need. We enjoyed the water, the fire pits, the privacy, the sun rises, the views from the living room, the water pressure, the grill, and so much more. The walks down the road, the location close to the state park, etc.... Our dog ran free and we have never seen him so happy!!
Cannot say enough great things.
My husband and I had a very quiet, relaxing vacation. Our daughter and son in law came out for a few days and enjoyed the boats. The description is very accurate of the property.
Thereâs not enough space here to list all the awesomeness of this cottage. But Iâll try⊠super big main room for the entire family without being in top of each other. Beds were comfy, kitchen had everything youâd ever need. Brand new Weber grill. The lake level bathroom, shower, and washer dryer was dynamite. Now the lake⊠thereâs very few places you can rent lakefront in Maine with its own private beach! Thatâs right, a sandy beach. The flat floating swim platform had some surprises. You can lift a small round table up with cup holders, and an umbrella hole! Thereâs even two adjustable back rests so you can lounge in the swim platform. Never saw this before. Thereâs a beautiful super friendly chocolate lab that comes by during the day to say hi. We met some of the residents on this private tucked away slice of heaven and they were all so welcoming and friendly. They made you feel like you were part of the neighborhood. We just got back today and already looking forward to renting again.
This rental is a gem. We loved the beach and swimming platform and enjoyed hanging out with the neighborhood dogs (all extremely friendly). The lake was beautiful and pretty quiet for August on Sebago. The cabin had everything we needed and was a great place to relax on the one rainy day we had. Hope to stay here again!
Situated on protected cove with semi private beach, its an ideal spot. Cottage is just what you imagine a rustic lake cabin to be. Great stay,. thank you.
Communication with owner was perfect ! This cottage had everything you need for the perfect stay ! We used the kayaks and paddle boat, had a campfire on the beach. Itâs so awesome to have the lake and beachfront right out the door! Large living space inside plenty of sleeping options and all the essentials needed for cooking and serving food. We grilled two nights and made breakfast two mornings ! A failure amazing time I hope to
Book next year.
Although alittle out dated this house has all the essentials of home and an amazing lake front view. Great beach front for the family activities and campfires. Perfect place to just relax. Couldnât ask for more. Plus great communication with owner. Would rent again.
My parents bought the original Maine property in 1954, which included a house on the water and a guest house behind it up on a hill overlooking the lake. My brothers and I had the opportunity to buy a large amount of contiguous property around the original homestead in 1977, including Lone Pine. We live full time in a home that we built that is adjacent to it on the cove. We take pride in the way we have appointed Lone Pine and continually upgrade it.
This house is within a family compound owned by myself and my two brothers. Lone Pine is directly on our sandy beach cove and is wonderful for small children as well as adults.
