We loved the location of the house, the knotty pine interior and finishes and the overall layout utilizing great use of the space. Everything was very clean, Anthony was responsive and a pleasure to deal with and weâll certainly be back.
My wifeâs first comment on walking into the house was, âThis is cute!â We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed ourselves immensely! The fire pit is outstanding and having access to kayaks was a huge plus. My wife and I took advantage of a very calm evening and took a sunset paddle out onto Sebago Lake, spotting several loons.
We would definitely stay here again!
We had a great time and host was very responsive. Private dock on swallow cove was really nice. Nights were great sitting by the fire pit. Plenty of wood provided. The beach was nice but really meant for little kids.
The house was great for our needs. Kitchen had everything we needed. Linens provided.
Overall, great time.
Camp was perfect for us ⊠association beach not so much very tiny
Itâs close to everywhere you need or want to go
We rented a Pontoon Boat for 2 days that was amazing âŠ. Spent at day at Nasons Beach which was very nice ⊠overall very nice Kayaks we loved them
This fit the bill for our top priority: comfortable beds and clean. It didn't feel musty or "campy" at all. We enjoyed the super quiet mornings on the dock and were prepared to have to paddle or kayak a bit to swim. We were very disappointed that, although the home is pet friendly, the nearby beach is not, and it is too mucky for dog swimming at the house. There are no dressers or hooks in the bedrooms, so we needed to live out of our suitcases on the floor; not a big problem because the home was clean, but at this price point, we were surprised about this. Our week was chilly, but I bet the AC would have been great were it a hot week.
Very comfortable home away from home, with room to spare for our family of three. Well set up for a week's vacation in a peaceful setting with a beautiful view of the lake.
We enjoyed spending time in and on the water, and exploring the area around Lake Sebago. Recommend visiting the Maine Wildlife Park nearby.
Weâve been coming to Sebago Lake area for 20+ years. We use to camp at State Park and Point Sebago. Now that our kids are 17 and 19 we decided to rent a house. This property was in a perfect location. I brought my paddle board and was able to launch from beach area just a short walk away. Kettle Cove is great calm area with no wake zone so perfect for paddle boarding.
The house was cute and clean and was stocked with everything. Only thing missing was coffee maker (there is French press). I had seen similar comment so we brought ours from home.
We enjoyed our stay!
Great place in cove off of Sebago. Great location to paddleboard with my family. Kitchen was very well equipped, used the grill and firepit too. Awesome!
Loved this house! Everything was very clean and it looks like the house has been completely redone. Great location, close walk to the beach. Anthony was very responsive. Would definitely stay here again!!
We stayed at this cottage to be close to my brother who lives close by. The cottage was generally clean and comfortable but it had its quirks like most cottages do. Even though it was renovated sometime in the last few years, there were issues and disappointments like no screen on the sliding glass door, a French Press instead of an electric coffee maker, and a loose railing with a note not to lean on it.
But the fire pit was wonderful, there was shade in the back with a view of a marshy area, it was a short walk to the private association beach, and it was quiet when we stayed in late June. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with spices and other necessities. Anything missing we picked up at the The Umbrella Factory about a 10 minute drive away.
In general it was a wonderful stay and I would definitely stay there again.
My daughter and I wanted a get away on Lake Sebago and this was a great find! Such a cute little cottage. Everything felt so new and crisp and thoughtfully decorated. We brought our dog, and she loved lounging in the yard watching the wild life on and around the lake. We had some wonderful excursions and a great time hanging out at the cottage as well. Anthony was a great host -- informative and super responsive. Would definitely recommend staying there!
