Come and feel a little bit of Mexico in Bend, Oregon. Casa Sol is a modern stucco home just blocks from downtown Bend and Newport Ave. Tall ceilings with exposed beams and a bright and airy interior makes this home feel cozy. The location in a great neighborhood on the westside allows you to walk or hop on one of the 4 provided cruiser bikes and ride to Spork, Chow, Nancy Pâs or Newport Market, some of our favorite spots.
This passive solar home has a gas fireplace and heated concrete floors to keep you warm on those chilly nights. The HDTV provides cable and streaming capabilities. The fully equipped gourmet kitchen has all that you will need. Dining for 4 inside or outside gives you the choice to stay at home and make a meal. There are two bedrooms upstairs with king beds and fresh linens. Enjoy your morning coffee on the second story deck. Â
Casa Sol is pet friendly! Outside, you will find a private enclosed space for your pet. The back patio includes a place for dining and relaxing. Also included is a BBQ, and a private salt system hot tub! You will have your own carport for parking one vehicle and additional space out back for another vehicle to park safely.Â
Need more space? Casa Luna is right beside Casa Sol. They can be rented together for the whole crew. Casa Luna has two bedrooms and both houses could sleep up to 8 guests comfortably. * Additional rates apply for the separate home. Please ask for availability if wanting to rent together.Â
Our family enjoyed our stay. We biked and walked most places and appreciated the AC in the 99 degree heat. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was well stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and laundry soap/fabric softener. Thank you!
My brother and I stayed at this spot with our 2 dogs and it was perfect. The bedrooms were hotel level comfort and cleanliness. The hot tub was awesome too. Really close to everything, we had a great time!!! Thank you!!
Very clean. Very comfortable. Great location in quiet neighborhood. Close to downtown, walked to the downtown area and to the breweries, even Crux. Loved the setup of the unit, with bedrooms upstairs and 1/2 bath down, very nice private patio area. Extremely comfortable beds.
This is the perfect place to stay if you are skiing at Mt Bach. The saltwater hot tub was awesome. The gas fireplace was a wonderful place to dry out wet gloves etc. after a day of skiing. The host responded very quickly to all communications.
House was unique, but cute. Two bedrooms, perfect for two couples. Stocked with plenty of bathroom towels and separate hot tub towels, shampoo, conditioner, laundry and dishwasher soap.
We stayed in January, which also happen to be a super snow storm, so the radiant headed flooring and hot tub were amazing. Location was ideal, close to down town.
We assume the property owners or management company came onsite to shovel snow, which was thoughtful and considerate.
I generally dont leave reviews as most of them are long winded and not really relevant to future patrons. This place had everthing in the description and the check in was easy. The master bedroom is nice, the 2nd bedroom did not have the best bed. I had an issue with the hot tub one of the days and the team was on it within the hour which was amazing! We would stay here again! No one was in the unit attached so it made it nice for us!
Great time at this place. 30 minutes to Bachelor and almost everything is a walk or bike ride away. We walked to dinner one night and breakfast the next morning in the other direction. Too much to see and do. We will be coming back for sure. We didn't need anything but owners kept in touch electronically to let us know they were standing by should a need arise.

It was ok.
We had a great time in Bend. We stayed four nights in the beginning of August. The house was pretty clean, but its a bit beat up. The mouldings and walls had a lot of abuse on them. The living space was small and the furniture was set up differently than pictured. It made it seem smaller. The dining room table had 3 chairs, there were four of us so someone either ate standing, at the couch or we ate outside on the patio. The hot tub was nice but didn't have any chemicals in it our first night, which was kinda gross. We called and someone took care of that the next day. There was also dog poop left near the hot tub, which was also gross. The pantry had 2 kinds of oil, a box of plastic wrap and about 6 herbs and salt and pepper. There are quiet hours suggested, but the neighbors don't know it. They threw a party mid week that went late and was loud. There is no air conditioning in the house and the 2 bedrooms are upstairs and even with extra fans, it was uncomfortable to sleep. (It was between 95-103 while we were there.) It was nice to have a washer/dryer available and there are two bathrooms, which was good. I think this would be a nice place to stay in the fall/winter when you would have the windows closed and could enjoy the hot tub.
Casa Sol was a cozy place for us while in town to visit my mom over the Thanksgiving holiday! The bed in the room with the larger closet was incredibly comfortable! Loved the radiant floor heating as well. Also great to have a hot tub to enjoy at the end of the day.
Stayed for a week with some family. The property worked out really well for us and was well maintained. We were nervous that the unit doesnât have air conditioning given we visited during a heat wave of 100+ temps, but there was actually a portable AC unit in one bedroom that kept the whole house cool. And the downstairs stayed cool during the day without the AC. Overall a great stay!
House is very well insulated so maintains temperature and keeps out noise. Our dog always has a mini breakdown on 4th of July and this year slept through all the fireworks because it was so quiet in the house. Walkable and bike friendly to many nearby destinations. Casa Sol was better for the toddler age because the backyard has smooth cement patio vs Casa Luna's stepping stones.
We liked the house. Since it was record heat it was a little warm in the house with no AC but we made do with the fans provided. Location was great close to downtown and the river. Overall, we would stay again minus record heat.
