Have an unforgettable beach vacation when you stay at this amazing one-bedroom, one-bathroom 1st floor condo that sits right alongside the shore! This condo is a part of the Sea Cabins Condominiums and boasts access to community amenities such as the large pool and private fishing pier, great for sunset walks and taking in the views of the Atlantic. When you stay in this property, you'll have all the amenities you could want for an intimate beach escape!
Walk in and to your right is the bedroom with a flat screen tv and queen sized bed. To the left in the hallway are two small built in bunk beds, great for small children. Keep going and you'll find the living and kitchen area with stainless steel appliances and everything you'll need to make breakfast or pack a lunch for the beach! With four chairs at the eat-in kitchen, everyone can sit and enjoy meals. You can enjoying watching TV on the couch/sofa &or in the large chair after a long day of exploring the area! Step outside and there are patio chairs to sit and enjoy the ocean breeze.
Things to know prior to booking your stay: - The Sea Cabin buildings do not have an elevator. Stairs are used to access all units, including some stairs to the 1st floor. - All units are 490 sq. ft. – they most comfortably accommodate 2 adult guests with smaller children. But while they are smaller, they are still 2x the size of most hotel rooms and include a fully functional kitchen! - 1st floor condos offer peeks of the ocean from the private balcony! 2nd and 3rd floor offer the best direct views of the Atlantic Ocean! - Please carefully review all photos including the aerial photo that shows the layout of the condo complex to get an idea of where you'll be staying. - Washers and Dryers are located next to the pool on the oceanfront; they are coin operated at $3 per load! - Parking notes: Each unit is given 1 parking pass. - The community pool is not heated and is usually open year round. - No smoking. A $500 dollar fine will be issued in order to professionally get rid of the odor. - No pets on site per condo regime and condo owner. No exception unless ADA documentation is provided prior to your arrival. A $500 dollar fine will be issued if pet(s) are found on site without proper documentation. - This property is managed by Carroll Realty, located on the island just 1.5 miles from the condo should you need anything during your stay!
The benefits of this condo don't end at the doorstep! When you stay here, you'll be within walking distance of the heart of town, where you can find shopping, local restaurants, and beach classics like ice cream shops, bike rentals, and beach gear rentals. This location is also within walking distance of local nightlife and oceanside bars. Combine all that with the fact this property is only a walk from the lifeguarded beach and county park, and you have a perfect Isle of Palms vacation rental!
Bike, water sport and beach umbrella rentals are available nearby. Shopping, dining, nightly entertainment, and post office are a short walk from the complex.
ALL BED LINENS, KITCHEN TOWELS, AND BATH TOWEL SETS ARE PROVIDED FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE!! You will only need to bring or plan to rent beach towels, chairs, bikes, umbrellas, etc. Also included is a 'starter set' of toiletries such as toilet paper, bath and dish soaps, paper towels, etc. but please do keep in mind you will most likely need to purchase these items after your initial arrival.
The Sea Cabin Condominiums share a Community Pool including a kiddie pool, Coin Laundry Facility, and have access to a Private Fishing Pier! These condos are each 490 square feet and are comprised of a three-building complex where all units have private balconies overlooking the beach and Atlantic Ocean. This is also the only lifeguarded area on the island = comfort in safety!
A few important notes to be aware: NO HOUSE PARTIES. NO SMOKING. NO PETS. No exceptions! There is a very strict noise ordinance policy on the island that goes into effect at 10pm on weeknights and 11pm on weekend nights. The 1 car limit is also strictly enforced. This house is a family rental and is located near year-round residents. This is not a rental home for bachelor/bachelorette events, wedding groups, youth groups, fraternities/sororities, receptions, or any other types of larger gatherings. We do NOT rent to students or anyone under the age of 21 - no exceptions - even if a parent or legally responsible adult makes the reservation. If such a group occupies or attempts to occupy the property, they will be required to immediately vacate and there will be NO refunds given. Further, this home is strictly a non-pet friendly home. Guest will be fined $500 if a pet is found to be on the property at any time.

Nice beachfront condo, exactly as described in the photos. The bedroom was a bit small but not too bothersome since it was just two people. Condo is in a nice area with lots of food options within walking distance. I would stay again if ever in the area.

The location was great. Private pier was perfect! The place had an overwhelming air freshener scent when we first came in. I found six plugs in the small space. It was really overwhelming. The couch had a bad smell and the bathroom smelled like the cabinets had been wet and smelled like wet particle board. We aired out the place while we were there and emptied the dehumidifier several times a day which seemed to help. Overall, it was not great, but the location was perfect for what we wanted.

The check-in here was, hands down, the easiest, smoothest check-in I've ever experienced, even smoother than at any hotel I've ever stayed at! I wish they were all like this. The space was wonderful, clean, and with everything we needed. Plus, you only have to cross the parking lot to get to the beach!

The Sea cabins looks to be some of the oldest condos on the island. This condo has had some updates done, kitchen cabinets, counter tops and floors. The outside door had light all the way around it- made it very drafty. The bedroom TV would not come on, door handle trim pieces were loose, paint chipping from ceiling, light covers not large enough to hide the hole behind them, toilet paper holder coming off the wall. Yes these are all cosmetic that can be taken care of with some more TLC. I draw the line at cleanliness, there looked to be mold on the vents and we pulled a blanket off one of the single beds to use while we were on the couch, unfolded the blanket and there was a used band aid stuck to the blanket. There will always be some things when renting a STR but with this many items in one stay, they need to be addressed- my wife and I will not be staying here again.

Good location
The stay was good. The condos are right on the beach. The pier is really nice. The condo was good, I would stay there again but one eye on the stove didn’t work, someone put a wash cloth in the garbage disposal, the bunk beds were a lot smaller than I thought. The pullout couch was broken so we couldn’t use it. Otherwise there was everything we needed in the condo.

Best beach trip ever!
We have been vacationing in the Mount Pleasant/Isle of Palms area since 2002 but this is the 1st staying ocean front and it made all the difference. Our unit was clean and came equipped with everything we needed. We decided to add another night to the trip because we were having such a great time. Brought the grandsons down for a birthday celebration. Staff were very attentive to our questions throughout our stay. We will be back.

parking was not an issue. Check-in was really easy. The condo floors didn't really feel clean and the overall space was a lot smaller than what it looked like in the pictures. It was cute for a night or two, but not typically my cup of tea. I was a little freaked out with all the pest control. Things plugged in the wall did not see any bug so that was good. I guess they are doing their job.

Short & sweet
We really loved this rental for the short stay that we needed it for. Unfortunately, as soon as we walked in the door there was an overwhelming odor of something between dirty socks/wet towels but things looks very neat and welcoming. The bathrooms we re pretty clean, however there was a good amount of moldy black dust on the bathroom counter that looked like it had accumulated there a while and was overlooked during the last cleanings. The dishes/silverware smelled so badly, we prewashed with dishsoap
hot water +new sponge and still could not completely get rid of the mildewy smell. It was a bit inconvenient because I was trying to recovery from a big surgery comfortably without having to deal with bringing all the extras.Fortunately, the grocery store is so close so we just purchased all disposible plates, cups & utensils so we made the best of it. Normally being so close to the beach we wouldnt even be watching much TV, but the outdated & limited channels made it more exhausing to deal with when trying to just recover and relax. This could easily be updated with a user friendly roku connector. Neighbors & area seemed very friendly & pleasant & loved the locations of such a cute rental.

IOP Best 4th of July Fireworks Ever, Decent Condo
The property was in a safe and convenient location. It had everything we needed. Overall it was well kept, but multiple things were broken. The drawer in the lower part of the fridge and the pullout couch were broken; both items functional, but noteworthy. There is a mildew smell as multiple others had mentioned in both the guest book on site and online. The smell bothered my family that were more sensitive. The one who slept on the couch had the greatest reaction to whatever was in the house. When loading the dishwasher upon leaving I noticed it hadn’t been unloaded from before, which has me questioning the cleaning aspect as was delivered in our checkout email.My biggest concern was communication. I messaged the property manager requesting the access code for the beach and the pool. I sent another message regarding parking, as there was no parking when we arrived even though we were allotted a slot. We had to park on the street (conveniently located), but we didn’t receive a response regarding reimbursement until after checking out on Sunday. Still never got a response about a gate code, though another resident was kind enough to share.The last complaint was about the walkway to the beach on the property side. There were screws sticking out of the boards, on both sides. Luckily only a heavy bruise, no broken skin. I really did enjoy the stay and would stay again, but these are the things that others should know when reserving this listing.

We left a day early
The listing indicates that this unit sleeps 4 adults. While there was a fold out couch that wasn’t listed, using the fold out couch would be such a pain in this tiny space. The bunk begs are VERY narrow. The top bunk is not safe at all. There is no railing to prevent someone from falling out. Lawsuit waiting to happen. We had two 16 year olds that are 5’11” and 6’1”. Neither could comfortably sleep in the bottom bunk so they took turns sleeping on the couch. Only one person will fit in the kitchen area at a time. The bedroom was fine and adequate for my wife and I. The fit and finish of this unit was not great. Nothing too concerning but the cracks in the walls, trim work, and gaps in the tile are all very easy and inexpensive fixes. First night went fine. On the second day, a group of 6-7 adults with 6 kids ranging from approximately 6-14 were staying in the 3-4 units above us. They put all the kids in their own unit directly above us. The parents would go out at night leaving the teen to watch the 5 young kids. The floors sound hollow and we could hear everything as they were running and jumping until 2am. The the morning, we found chocolate covered donuts and chocolate covered pretzels on our patio that the kids threw down. Later that day, I saw dozens of chocolate covered pretzels in the parking and on someone’s hood and windshield. This continued each night. We did talk to the kids and the teenage girl watching them. They were actually very polite but it didn’t help.

Hi Matt - I was so sorry to hear about the unruly guests in the condo above. We don't manage that one and did reach out to the owner to ask their guests to be respectful to surrounding condos. We outline in very specific detail the layout of the condo and the size of the beds. We do not recommend the built in bunks for anyone other than very small children.

This unit needs a few bottles of bleach! Poor organization-Horrible mattress-Dirty stained rug fabrics. Great view from balcony but hard plastic chairs did not make it a comfortable sitting area. Upon arrival at 6:00 PM we realized there was no entry code in e mail and we take responsibility for not confirming sooner. The property management office was closed, we left multiple messages on the 24 hour emergency maintenance phone number with no return call. Left for hotel st 7:30Someone answered in the morning and provided code for entry. Property management company made things right to our satisfaction. We have previously stayed in this same complex and enjoy the area but this unit left us feeling like we needed to disinfect our belingings.

Carroll Realty is the property management company chosen by the homeowner and requires that their rental agreement be signed prior to occupying the property.
Cancellation Policy: Reservations made and cancelled within 24 hours will be refunded in full. After 24 hours, our cancellation policy goes into effect. Reservations cancelled 6 months prior to arrival will be refunded in full. If a reservation is cancelled less than 6 months prior to arrival, a full deposit refund less a $100.00 booking fee will be made only if the unit is re-rented for the same time and price, and at a pro-rated rate if only rented for the partial amount. The guest will be responsible for the difference in price if re-rented at a lower rate. We do offer and strongly encourage every traveler to purchase travel insurance as well for an added 10.8% or 7% charge depending on which plan you select. If accepted, the 10.8% travel insurance plan must be paid in full within 14 days of making a reservation or you may add the 7% plan up until 30 days prior to your arrival date or final payment is paid, whichever comes first. Travel insurance covers every guest scheduled to come on the trip. Please call us for more information or visit our website for detailed plan information. Upon arrival, if you do not accept the unit you have reserved your deposit will be forfeited.
Power/ weather related cancellation: Carroll Realty does not issue refunds due to acts of nature such as: weather, road conditions, snow conditions, power outages, or forest fires. Additionally, Carroll Realty will not issue refunds in the event of a pandemic (for example, Covid-19) or acts of nature such as a hurricane. In light of these events, we strongly urge every reservation to purchase one of the two travel insurance plans that we offer. Hurricane season technically runs from June through October, but is especially more prone to occur in our area from late August through early October.
