Built specifically for couples looking to have a romantic, private get away . NEW LARGE HOT TUB ,led lights with water fall . This cabin is located in Amish country , on a very sought after gravel road located in adams county OH . This is truly a hard to find setting . A person might see 3-4 cars in a 24 hour period . stunning view from front porch, Fire pit and wood provided . Literally all you need is yourself and food . Everything else is provided . There is no Wi-Fi or cable . This location is too remote for these , however a smart tv and plenty of dvds are provided . Great cell service on the property . One bedroom with a queen bed , and pull out sofa bed if you decide to bring the kids along . Everything you need to have a quiet stay with your loved one . My wife and I are sure you will love the cabin or we will refund some or all your money . We will guarantee you are 100% satisfied . There are no tricks here . Book with confidence!! Beautiful place to stay for a secluded weekend! The place was very clean and the hosts were very kind and accommodating, providing everything we need for the weekend as well as a few extras! Would definitely stay again!

It’s a great place in the countryside nice and peaceful. You don’t have the traffic or street lights great place to relax.

Incredible Location for Quiet Stay

The property is incredibly situated for a nice quiet stay with no interruptions. The cabin was flawlessly comfortable and well maintained and the property is absolutely gorgeous. It was exactly what we were hoping for to have a quiet couple’s escape from the city.

Enjoy the little things!! Off the beaten path!!Wine, hot tub, fire pit, and nature...PERFECT!! We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay!! Thanks for sharing your place with us!! Thank you for the bottle of wine (good choice by your wife:) and providing fire wood ( it saved us a lot of room in the car by not having to hull wood with us) We would love to stay again!! Wow!!!

Where do I begin? Frank is so easy to speak with and helpful. Just a pleasant person.The property is gorgeous! The pictures do absolutely no justice for this home! It is so peaceful and quiet! I loved how remote it is! The stream along the road and property are breath taking. I spent the weekend there, it rained the entire time. But it still so much fun! So relaxing too! My husband and I came for a belated anniversary trip! Our stay was there was perfect! The bottle of wine left for us was so good!There is not one thing Idup to add!

Beautiful, quiet and private getaway

The house is new - beautifully furnished, equipped and decorated. The hot tub is very relaxing and we enjoyed the fire pit. Loved seeing birds and deer from the front deck. No bugs!! Great views of the sky and stars. Had a great hike at buzzardroost rock. Worth the drive! We cooked all our meals - loved the kitchen. Only drawback for us was a neighbor’s cat that wouldn’t leave us alone and tried to get in the house whenever we came in or out. I am allergic to cats so this was bothersome for us. Overall, highly recommend this property.

Peaceful New Year's Weekend

Love the design of this cabin. Just a charming place to spend a *very* quiet weekend. Owner is super-responsive and you can tell this is a labor of love. A few notes to future guests: We have T-Mobile and there was virtually zero cell service at the cottage. If it's important to you, check if your carrier has coverage or not and be prepared. If you are at all "cheffy" and want to cook, the kitchen is beautiful, the appliances are awesome, but know that there are no knives (which is fine; knives at rental homes are always terrible). There are steak knives but no "cooking" knives. Glad I brought my own. Otherwise, nice pots and pans and baking sheets.

The cabin was exactly as described and pictured. Very clean, great getaway! The hottub (which was a big draw) was easy to use and clean. Access to good hiking and nature.

Family getaway

Our family of 4 stayed for 3 nights in early August. We had the best, most relaxing time! Daughter 13 and son 9, did not care about no wifi. We all lost track of time and just hung out, spent time together and enjoyed the beautiful property.

The property was beautiful, the home was clean, and the experience was amazing. It provided us with the peace and quiet we were looking for as well as a sweet little friend (outdoor stray cat - we named him Conor/Mr McGregor/Big C).

I would challenge you to find any other property as clean and well maintained as this one. It is more stunning than the photos. Frank was very accommodating and responded immediately to any questions I had. The hot tub was also very clean and not overly chlorided like other properties I have stayed at. Just stunning.

Quick getaway

My husband and I wanted a getaway for our anniversary. We like to try to go somewhere more secluded to unwind and disconnect from our usual craziness so we can connect. This property is secluded, had just about everything we needed, and was a very comfortable stay overall.

Beautiful cabin, located amongst the woods.

We stayed here for a weekend and really enjoyed ourselves. The cabin is located in a quiet wooded area, perfect for a low tech getaway.The cabin was clean, had many conveniences in the kitchen, was beautifully laid out. The patio provides a beautiful view of the property and great place for yoga. The hot tub was clean and well maintained. Owner was really helpful and communicative, replied back to our queries quickly and helpfully. Something to know: Adams county where this cabin is located is a 'Dry County', no alcohol sales in majority of shops (like Walmart) etc, so plan ahead. Would highly recommend this beautiful cabin.

Relaxing and secluded!

The property was exactly what we were looking for; a place to get away from our busy lives, spend some quality time and relax! Loved the huge windows and unique architecture. The property was very clean, indoors and outdoors. We appreciate the hospitality from the Laxton family and would definitely stay again!
