Another great stay at our favorite venue in the area. Clean, comfortable & well-appointed, Pine Valley Cabins is a great place to stay. Thanks for another wonderful vacation!
This cabin is exactly how it's described in the listing. You will enjoy a peaceful, secluded stay in the middle of Amish country. The cabin was very modern and up to date for being an Amish owned property. The family who owns this cabin was very helpful, friendly and kind people. We also really appreciated that the owners stocked each cabin with a large amount of fire wood!Internet was not working during our stay and phones have very little service. Adults in my family did not mind much but kids did struggle with this. They were able to enjoy the outdoors once they got adjusted to the no Internet world. You will definitely want to bring groceries with you as there were no restaurants immediately nearby. You have to drive to Peebles or towards West Union for each meal. (West Union is a dry county, so be prepared if you plan to sit by the fire and enjoy an adult beverage.)We will definitely be back one day!
Booked this place for my son and daughter in law for their honeymoon. He is in the Navy so he only had availability to go away for one night before he had to get back to his duty station. They really enjoyed the property and surrounding area.
My daughter and I stayed one night in this clean, well- stocked cabin. The beds were very comfortable. Heat was easily adjusted. Window blinds were easily positioned. Firepit stocked with dry kindling and firewood and Adirondack chairs. Also bottled water water was provided.chairs.
We were fortunate enough to stay at this wonderful cabin, while in Ohio to visit some friends. We chose Hunterâs Lodge because it looked like a step up from some of the other motels in the area and we were not disappointed!
From the moment we turned off the highway, we were treated to the most beautiful scenery. As we arrived at the cabin, it was the most idyllic backdrop of lush greenery and trees.
The cabin itself if very generous in space, there were only two of us, but it would have comfortably held at least 3 more people; I could even see 6-8 people being comfortable here.
The cabin features a full kitchen with a large fridge/freezer, WiFi, plenty of very soft towels and the cutest little dining table. The cabin was also very clean when we arrived. Thereâs plenty of outside seating so you can enjoy sitting under the stars at night.
The Hunterâs Lodge cannot be beat, itâs really an immersive experience to get to stay here and will give you beautiful memories that last a lifetime!
This was our second time staying at the Amish Lodge off Bailey Rd. Lewis was wonderful and super accommodating. Everything was fantastic and definitely the best bang for your buck!
The only complaint I had was the wifi service wasn't good and at a certain point every night the wifi was non existent, as well as, was the cell service. If I was there for leisure it wouldn't be a problem but I needed to work and the wifi not working was crippling.
This was our third booking with Pine Valley Cabins. We keep coming back because the quality & cleanliness of the cabins as well as the peaceful surroundings can't be beat. Karen & Lewis are great hosts & we love that Pine Valley is the perfect location as a "home base" for all our recreational activities in the area. 5 stars all the way!
Lovely cabin not far off the beaten path, nestled in an area of the woods that have five other Pine Valley Cabins. Each cabin has their own fire pit with wood provided. This was my favorite place to sit and just listen to the woods and birds! Beds were very comfy and the cabin was spotless with everything you need. Our Mint mobile cell phones didn't work in that area, but the Wifi worked great. We rented the cabin as a place to lay our heads on an overnight stop on the way home from North Carolina to Michigan. I would just advise being cautious about leaving the Pine Valley Cabin area. We tried to go for a walk up the road and noticed the neighbors don't keep their dog leashed (he was not happy to see us, but there may have been an electric fence as he stopped short of the road and they called him back to the house - phew!). The cabin was so well stocked and tidy. I would just suggest two items...More blankets, the blanket for the person sleeping on the futon couch was more like a medium sized throw blanket; and, two, a way to operate the fans...we could turn them on and off, but there was no (obvious) way to turn on the fan without the light, or the light without the fan, or a way to change the speeds. I think this might make a summer visit tricky, though there is a very nice AC unit in the bedroom.
Located in beautiful Adams County Ohio The Pine Valley Cabins are secluded with nature's love. Minutes from Amish Family markets and Tradition Animal's Adventure Also, not far from Serpent Mound and Buzzard Roost
