This condo was spacious and comfortable with plenty of room for all of us to spread out. The location was perfect for downtown walks, and the underground parking was a huge plus!
The condo served our family wonderfully during our ski trip! The location is convenient for starting a ski day at either Peak 8 or Peak 9, as well as for walking Main street for dinner in the evening. It is very spacious with comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchen. Parking was free and covered, which was very much appreciated!
The condo location was great. Very close proximity to the chairlift and Main Street shopping. The only thing that was a bit negative was the cleanliness. Lots of dust on the carpet and bedding.
I booked this condo at the last minute for a great price. The location is close to the lifts and Main street. The wood burning fireplace worked well with plenty of firewood stored in the garage storage closet. The not so great parts. The entire condo is very dated in decor, furniture, bedding, etc. While the condo is clean it is due for a "deep clean". The beds and couches are all very worn to the point of being uncomfortable, because of that we decided to not sleep at the condo the second night.
Location was good. Kitchen was fine. Beds were comfortable.
It was hard to figure out how to make the place less hot.
Lighting was not great.
Ran out of toilet paper, but there were plenty of tissues.
Wonderful location for family with proximity to town and the lifts.
Good amount of space.
Very dated, looks like the whole place hasn't been updated since the 80s. Stained carpet, moldy window sills, broken fireplace screen, dirty dishes.
Very uncomfortable couches, no cushion left and had to sit on blankets and pillows.
The location and space is the saving grace, but we wouldn't return due to the lack of cleanliness and upkeep. We have been spending spring break in summit County for 30 years and this is only 1 of 3 units we would not return to.
Overall had a good stay. The condo had plenty of room for 3 adults and 3 kids and was conveniently located with an easy walk to lifts and main street. Condo is dated, but fine. Bigger beds would increase convenience significantly - one room has two twin beds, and the other has a full bed. So realistically, you are only sleeping 3 MAYBE 4 people in actual beds. The beds could use new mattresses as well. Only other challenge was parking - despite a 2BR condo (and therefore assumption that you would have 6 people), you only get one parking space. So a second car has to be parked offsite in paid parking, which i believe was 25-30 per day.
Pros:
Great location
Spacious condo with full size kitchen
Fireplace
Cons:
- Window in room w full bed is single pane/old/wood and lets EXTREME cold into the room/condo and heater did not seem to work in that room
- Indoor hot tubs had no restrictions during covid stay but outdoor pool and hot tub was restricted to reservation system, that fillled instantly each day.
- One parking spot in underground garage is great, but a second spot was hard to come by anywhere close to the condo
- Classic condo, nothing wrong with it, just could use an update. Also the rooms should be flipped for beds, with the full mattress in the room with bathroom, instead of the twin beds?
Had a great stay! Close to downtown and short walk to gondola. Wish laundry was in unit and pool a little closer, but would definitely stay here again!
The Condo is quite large for a two bedroom. Deco is in the theme of Colorado skiing. The condo is right across the street from buses or ~400 yard walk to ski lift & downtown so location is great. Price is a very good value too. The extra single bed in the room with two beds is a bit short for an adult. Overall very nice.
The location was great and an easy walk to the lifts. If you have someone that can drive you, it was a little easier to drop off skiers at Beaver Run as the closer lift (Quick Silver) was very busy in the mornings. Hot tubs on site were nice, the outdoor pool and outdoor hot tubs are worth the short walk - of course the weather was beautiful when we were there - in the mid 50's so outdoor was preferred during our stay. We had 6 people in our party and the unit was plenty spacious for all of us. We had planned on using the pull out couch but it was very uncomfortable. We thought the beds were hard, I saw another review stating that they thought the beds were comfortable, so this is likely just personal preference on if you like a hard or a soft bed. Kitchen could use a few items - would have liked a vegetable grater (carrots, etc.) a better fry pan for eggs/omelets, and a good serrated knife for cutting bread. Perhaps the biggest thing to improve the kitchen would be HOT PADS, we had to use the towels as oven
We were very comfortable staying at this condo in downtown breck! It was across the street from downtown (about a 5-10 min walk to the main street) with a bus stop also across the street. We wished we learned the bus routes earlier because that was very helpful to get to the gondola and Beaver Run. We also loved enjoying the hot tub each night! Great all around!
