Notre lumière, deux chambres-deux salles de bain Poipu Beach en bord de mer location condo lumineux, spacieux et confortable se trouve à 40 pieds du bord de l'océan. Les baies vitrées offrent une vue panoramique imprenable sur l'océan. Vous pouvez voir des couchers de soleil spectaculaires, des tortues de mer géantes, des dauphins et des baleines dans le confort de notre salon et de la véranda. Les sons de l'océan sont relaxants - une bande son parfaite pour ce paradis. Marcher seulement 100 pieds pour atteindre l'une des plages les plus célèbres du monde pour le soleil, la plongée en apnée, le boogie board et la sieste. Outstanding views/location

Our family of four (including two teens) had a great stay in Poipu and would be happy to stay in this condo again. We loved seeing and hearing the ocean each day, and the views from the lanai were amazing, including the ocean, surfers, turtles, snorkelers, and so on. We saw turtles in the water near the rocky shoreline on most days and also enjoyed the scene and views at sunset. This property is right next to Lawai Beach and the Beach House restaurant so it is a destination point for many at sunset. The kitchen had everything we needed for our meals, and we also appreciated and enjoyed the proximity to all the local attractions. There is so much to do in the area. (Note: If you are someone who prefers or requires resort-like amenities, this place may not be for you. For our family, it was perfect.)

Great vacation condo!

We had a great time at this property. It had everything we needed and was so cute! So close to the water. Very breathtaking views and we would go back again! Loved it and the property owners are so kind and helpful and very quick to respond to any questions or asking for any recommendations. We will be back!

The perfect place to relax and enjoy the ocean

It was a spectacular view of the ocean that really let you relax. You didn't feel rushed to get it of the condo so you could go do something. We ate all our meals on the balcony with the ocean view and sounds. We cooked breakfast at the condo and I enjoyed the blender and good appliances.

As advertised! The location was ideal, beach right beside condo offered awesome snorkelling, 10-15 minute drive had 10 other beaches, lots of dining and grocery options. A short 10 minute walk to all the essentials. Condo was super clean, very quiet and hosts have boogie boards, chairs and towels for beach! Awesome for family with young kids with two twin size beds in one room and king in the other, each room with its own bathroom. Every day whales, turtles and monk seals right from lanai! This place is literally 15 feet from the ocean! Truly oceanfront! If ur looking for a quiet, clean, safe place to stay this is it.

We really enjoyed our stay. Poipu Shores is in a very good location. The view is marvelous. The property appears to be well-maintained. We had a wonderful time, and we booked a stay again next year!

The view was amazing!

We spent two weeks in Kauai this past February. Kuhio Shores is our go to place whenever we visit. Watching the whales, turtles and surfers from the balcony was a good source of entertainment for us as my husband got Covid two days after we arrived. The condo could use some renovating. It's old and dated. The screen door is almost impossible to open and close. The kitchen was well stocked with spices, pots and pans and dishes. Could have used a laundry basket in the suite.

Perfect Location

Nov 2023: My wife and I spent 10 days here and enjoyed every day. The condo does have a magnificent ocean front view. We enjoyed the sound of the waves breaking on the rocks below and the ocean breeze moved easily through the condo, we didn't have a need for the air conditioning. Sunset views from the lanai, when the clouds permitted and great proximity to all parts of the island. We like to hike, my wife is a runner and I SCUBA diving, all our needs were met from here. We found the location to be perfect for accessing the north shore of Kaua'i and the west shore up into the Waimea Canyon. There are a few things that require attention, primarily the screen door to the lanai other than that the condo is very comfortable and contains everything we needed. The condo management is very friendly and helpful. We are looking forward to returning.

Wonderful place to stay!

Our 4th trip to Kauai and we always stay at Kuhio Shores. This unit was spacious and very nicely appointed with cooking supplies, towels, coolers and beach accessories. Of course the reason we stay at Kuhio is the sunset from the deck, watching turtles in the morning, listening and watching the waves crash , ,two minutes from a good snorkeling spot and six minutes from a very nice public golf course. It's a wonderful place to stay!

Spectacular and Breathtaking Ocean Views

This property was perfect for us to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary on the ocean. The amenities are perfect. Condo is clean and well stocked with items for going to the beach. We sat out on the balcony a lot and just took in the spectacular ocean view and surfers, and the sound of the waves. The sunsets are also spectacular as well! We highly recommend this property!

Great location!

This property is in a stellar location! It feels like you’re almost in the water when you’re sitting on the balcony. What a view! The living room is comfortable, and the kitchen adequate. Main bedroom adequate, A/C & bath in hallway. 2nd bed no A/C, small bathroom in room. Overall, it’s comfortable and had a killer view of the ocean. Great location. We had fun.

Wanna watch sea turtles?

Some of the reviews made me worried but as soon as you open the door to this condo you see the spectacular view. The unit is clean and well stocked. I don’t need every piece of furniture to appear to be new. Every day we watched sea turtles in the surf from the lanai. Kitchen was well stocked—even had a tea kettle! Stay here and find your zen on the lanai. You won’t regret it.

Gorgeous View, comfortable bed, fully stocked kitchen

We are checking out right now and are super sad to be leaving. This place has the most beautiful view, and the kindest hosts. The hosts gave us fantastic insight on when and where to eat and enjoy. The view is just OUTSTANDING, literally feet away from the ocean. They have one lounge chair and 4 plastic outside chairs to sit and enjoy the beautiful view. They also have chairs if you come during the summer like we did and miss the sun setting in view of the apartment. They have everything you would need to cook most meals there. If you are looking for a getaway where you can just enjoy the ocean, this is the place for you. If you would like to be pampered - maybe go to one of the resorts nearby.

Very dated and poorly maintained condo with an amazing view

Over the years, I’ve stayed at Kuhio Shores in many different units, and this was by far the least updated and worst maintained unit to date. It clearly has not been updated in over 30 years and it shows, with stained grout, rusty fixtures, exposed wires, crumbly plaster, and damaged furniture. It was also shocking to arrive and find nothing but cheap hand soap and toilet paper for amenities. No shampoo, no Kleenex, no bar soap, etc. Every other unit we’ve stayed in at Kuhio Shores treated us like treasured guests. It’s almost as if this particular owner cared more about profits than his guests’ comfort. At this price point, this was extremely disappointing. But having said all that, the view from Kuhio Shores is spectacular, and the location is very convenient - walkable to beaches, shops, entertainment, sunsets, restaurants, etc. I’d recommend any other unit at Kuhio Shores over this one, but if this is your only option and you can live with the no frills, 1980s vibe, then you could probably do a lot worse.

Great Place to Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kuhio Shores #315. Beautiful views, great location, friendly neighbors, and very nice accommodations, albeit just a bit dated. I would definitely stay at this condo again. We had everything that we needed, from pots and pans to beach accessories, and everything in between. We hated to leave.

Whales and turtles

We loved the view from the lanai. Saw a huge sea turtle each day as well as some smaller ones, and we enjoyed whale sightings from the lanai almost every day.

Great location; condo needs some work

First of all, we really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful location and views. Beds were comfortable, plenty of space, quiet (if you don't count the sound of the ocean, which I love), plenty of supplies of things like tissues, soap, trash bags, toilet paper. Never had to wait for an elevator. The water pressure was great. Never ran out of hot water. There are beach chairs, coolers and other beach equipment, which was great. It's located a whopping 1 minute walk from a beach you can snorkel at. The blender was broken and the owner was very gracious and allowed us to purchase a new one at Costco and he promptly paid me back. We appreciated the luggage carts and the hose to wash off the car. Don't park under the palm trees or your car will be covered in bird droppings (tropical bird droppings...pink and blue)! The condo needs some updating, fresh paint and a deep cleaning. It looked clean, but once we settled in, it was evident that corners had been cut. We had to replace several light bulbs upon arrival, but there were lightbulbs provided in the condo. Just about everything metal is rusting, from hinges to the refrigerator door. The medicine cabinet in the bed/bath with the twin beds is literally rotting away. The sink came only as high as mid-thigh on me and I'm only 5'5". The kitchen badly needs new non-stick pans, utensils, and food storage containers. Most people stay in condo cos they plan to cook. It was a bit like cooking with someone's worn out hand me downs. The electric range burners are so crooked you cannot heat anything evenly. I think the stove needs to be replaced. I think for the condition, the condo seemed overpriced to me. We spent a week there and then a week on the ocean in Princeville and they were both the same price. The one in Princeville was in much better condition. Perhaps the south shore is more expensive? I'm not sure. We had a great time. There's so much to do, Waimea Canyon, rode e-bikes in Kapaa on the paved path. Loved the Heritage Trail over by the Hyatt.

Beautiful views!

Location was great! The condo was adequate. The kitchen is small but works. The condo is a little more dated than what the pictures portray. I wish the owners would have warned us about parking under the trees. The car was covered with bird poop after the first night. We learned quickly but wish we had had a heads up. The second bedroom had a very weird bathroom set up. The shower is in the room and so there isn’t any privacy. We made it work, but it may have been a deal breaker had we known. With all that said we had a great time and it was made better by the ocean being right outside the sliding door.

Beautiful and close to the lagoon/bay for snorkeling. Great view of sunrises and sunsets.

Enjoyed our stay. Everything we needed was in the condo. It was so convenient to the ocean/bay for sun, sand and snorkeling. Thank you for a wonderful visit.
