An original John Porter Clark (1940) architectural home nestled in the foothills overlooking the city, this retreat is located in the exclusive and secluded 'Little Tuscany Estates' neighborhood. Built for John and Fannie Hamrick, this historic masterpiece will transport you to the glamorous golden era of Palm Springs yesteryear. Make your way outside through the living area and you will be greeted by a sparkling private pool and sweeping views of the mountains beyond. Don't worry about mealtimes, as a gas grill awaits for a cookout in the sunshine and a fully equipped kitchen awaits inside to whip up any recipe with ease. When it is time to head inside for the night, the wet bar will be ready for guests to make favorite cocktails and the spacious great room features a large sectional couch, vintage art, a 47' HDTV, and a large wood-burning fireplace to complete this inviting space.

Safely Damage Waiver: As part of our effort to help you relax and enjoy your stay, we have partnered with Safely.com to provide you with $1500 worth of coverage for accidental contents damage or property damage. This means you can vacation with the peace of mind that you wont be unknowingly charged after your check out for minor accidental damages that may happen during your stay. All we ask is that you inform us of any damage so that we can file the claim with Safely.

Payment Terms: A valid credit card is required to be kept on file upon reservation. 50% of there payment is due upon booking and the remaining 50% is due 60 days before check in. If your check in is less than 60 days away, the entire reservation amount is due upfront. We cannot change the payment terms and we cannot hold dates without payment.

Outdoor Noise Limits: All units are equipped with a NoiseAware volume tracking devices. These devices track decibel levels, but do not record sounds. Amplified noise or music is allowed outside as long as it is not Quiet Hours. Quiet hours is from 9pm-8am Sunday-Thursday and 10pm-8am Friday-Saturday, during which any speakers and all amplified noise is prohibited even if it is coming from inside the home. Any other outdoor noise must be kept to a reasonable level during Quiet Hours. These are city regulations and we must abide by them to keep our short term rental license. Upon the first notification from NoiseAware of a noise violation, we will reach out to the Guest to take corrective action. If the Guest is unresponsive or if no corrective action is taken, Guest may be liable to a $500 charge. Furthermore, if code enforcement goes to the property and issues a citation, Guest will be responsible for paying the entire citation amount. Guest authorizes manager to charge credit card on file for any fines issued by code enforcement or any charges for breaking noise policy.

Cancellations: Cancellation policy is more flexible for bookings made through our website than for bookings made through VRBO. On VRBO, for any cancellations made 60 days or more from check in, you will receive a 50% refund minus the payment processing fees charged by Stripe. For any cancellations made within 60 days from check in, you will receive no refund. If the reservation is cancelled with 48 hours from booking, you will receive a full refund minus the payment processing fees charged by Stripe as long as check in is more than 30 days away. There is a strict no cancellation policy for all major holidays, major tennis or golf tournaments, and music festivals. Festivals include but are not limited to Power Trip, Coachella and Stagecoach music festivals. Special events and music festivals that are cancelled, postposed, or altered in any way, for any reason, do not qualify for any refund, alteration of the reservation or cancellation, including Acts of God, pandemics, epidemics or health outbreaks such as COVID-19. NO CREDIT WILL BE ISSUED IN THE CASE OF EARLY DEPARTURE OR CANCELLATION FOR ANY FESTIVAL BOOKING.

Pre-Check In Link: You will receive a pre-check in link shortly after booking. Through this check in link you will have to enter some basic information regarding your reservation, will have to sign our Terms and Conditions, and will be able to purchase any additional services as part of your booking. You will not have access to the House Manual until the pre-check in link is completed.
-- HOUSE RULES/ POLICIES --

1. No parties or loud gatherings are allowed.

2. Due to Palm Springs policy, outdoor noise amplification at vacation rentals is prohibited at all times of the day. This means no outdoor speakers even if the volume is low. If you have speakers inside the home, make sure noise cannot be heard outside. Quiet hours is from 9PM to 8AM, during which outdoor noise must be kept to a conversational level. If you plan to be loud and boisterous past Quiet Hours please take it inside the home. There are outdoor noise sensors on the property that measure sound levels.

3. Pool heating is an additional cost of $100/day. Pool heating must be paid for the entirety of the stay. Please advise at least 24 hours before check in if you want to take advantage of pool heater as it can take up to a day to heat to a comfortable level.

4. Early check in at 1PM ($150) and late check out at 2PM ($150) is available for an extra fee ONLY if there are no back to back bookings to allow for proper cleaning.

5. Minimum 25 years of age to book.

6. No more than 4 vehicles allowed on the property.

7. No pets are allowed under any circumstances. A fine of $500 will be imposed for any presence or evidence of pets on the premises.

8. No smoking inside the home. Evidence of smoking inside the home will result in a minimum fine of $500.
