This spacious one bedroom, two bathroom unit features split AC in the living room and bedroom and offers nice finishes such as leather granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and bamboo flooring.

The Kona Alii is a secure building, keys required to access the elevators and common areas, not to mention has covered parking and ample guest parking also. There is a pool on site with BBQ amenities and a roof top sunset viewing deck for residents and guests.

Fully Equipped Kitchen with all one could need to have the perfect Vacation! It truly is an amazing chef's kitchen, which has it all at your fingertips and is open in a great room atmosphere.

Both bathrooms are gorgeously remodeled. Guest Bathroom has a beautiful large shower, the bedroom shower is also quite nice.
This beautiful condo has a washer and dryer inside the property as a great amenity. Unit#410 also has an assigned parking stall!

Whether you are an Ironman triathlete or an ocean enthusiast, this stunning, remodeled property, will please all. Its location in the downtown Kona, is lively and in the heart of all the amenities. Restaurants, shopping, the ocean are literally at your doorstep. It is roomy enough for up to 4 guests, as there is a sleeper sofa. The furnishings are high end and designed to entertain. The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom and the bed is king size!

The walk-in closet has ample space for your belongings. The lanai looks out onto the ocean and also, to the pool and immaculately kept gardens.

The 2 chaise lounges are a great spot to sit and view the ocean with your favorite cocktail and the dining table seats up to 4.

The pool is pristine and excellently maintained. There is a BBQ for your convenience at the complex. There are cooling trade winds and gorgeous sunsets. There is a festive night life and live music usually morning to night. It's relaxing to sit and sip a cup of coffee at your favorite coffee house on the ocean, listening to live music while you people watch. It is fabulous to head over to any local restaurant or bar and watch the sunset with your friends or family sharing some wine. This is in the heart of it all!

Well kept and maintained. Quiet.

We loved the place, the location, the set up and Kona. We could walk to things in Kona and were directly across from the ocean. Would stay there again.

Great base for exploring the Big Island

Nice apartment - ideal for two, though there is a sofa bed (which we never opened). Clean modern kitchen and bathrooms and comfortable queen size bed. The building did look like it needed some updating, but the apartment is great. Lots of shopping and eating options nearby! We would stay there again for sure!

Relaxing close to everything

My husband and I stayed in this nightly appointed condo.There was enough space for us to bring all of our luggage and have the feel of a real home.Everything was close by and anything I was nervous about Jojo answered beforehand.

Amazing condo with beautiful views!

Stayed at Kona Alii for our honeymoon and loved every minute of our time here. Joanna was so helpful in making sure that everything went smoothly from the check-in procedure to recommending restaurants/activities on the Big Island. We could not have asked for a more perfect condo location, right beside some amazing restaurants and a short driving distance to some gorgeous beaches. Would highly recommend to anyone!!!!

Very comfortable and appealing unit and felt at home here..

We know now where to stay in Kailua Kona. Everything within walking distance. Nice view from the balcony of the ocean and to hear the sound of the waves and birds every day. Unit is clean and nicely appointed -we didn't have any need for anything.

Love the property

We had a great time. Property location is right in downtown Kona with convenient access to basically everything. The host was very responsive to emails and provided good tips for the week we stayed. Snorkel sets, beach chairs, beach umbrella, and boogie board are also provided. Thank you Joanna. Will definitely book this property again in the future.

Anniversary

Without ever seeing this property it exceeded our expectations . The view for the balcony,the sound of the surf and the view make this unit was great especially the sunset. It's location was ideal to resteraunts,bars and beach easy walk to all. The unit itself had everything we needed and was clean and neat. We would rent again without hesitation.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was terrific, in the heart of Kailua village and walkable to many restaurants and shops. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen well appointed and the space was ample. The few minor concerns we had were quickly addressed and resolved promptly. An added bonus was the provision of beach chairs, snorkeling gear, beach towels and coolers for our use. I would highly recommend staying here.

Perfect location in paradise!

The place is exactly as advertised. It is a great place to call home base. It is right next to all the tourist areas and more importantly right next to the ocean. We really enjoyed all the beach gear, and the cooking supplies that were available, which allowed us to just enjoy our time there. The finishing touches in the home are second to none. So clean and modern. Jojo has been great, very quick to answer all of our questions, she gave us tips on what to see and where to eat. I highly recommend spending your time in Kona at Jojo's place.

Location & Comfort

This is a wonderful space for a short or long get away. It is well located in downtown Kona with easy walking to the core restaurants, activities, and farmers market. The condo faces westerly and has beautiful sunsets. The spacious lanai has two lounge chairs and a table with 4 chairs which works well for meals or relaxing morning coffees. It is true what others are saying, JOJO is so easy to work with and is very responsive to your questions or needs. This is our second stay and already have another stay planned.

Wonderful experience

This condo is not only in an excellent location but more importantly, it was very THOUGHTFULLY equipped with all the amenities that a family needs to make their vacation very comfortable and enjoyable. The attention to details were immaculate - the condo had all the necessary stuff in the kitchen from pots and pans to spices, and more. What was really cool about this condo was that they had all the things for the kids to play at the beach - from a little cart to boogie board, beach chairs, sunscreen, umbrella, and more. The condo was very tastefully decorated. Highly recommend this place!!

Perfection

What a fabulous condo right on Ali’i drive in downtown Kona. The pictures of the property are exactly what you get in person. The condo is fully equipped with everything you can think of related to kitchen tools/appliances, to beach gear, and more. The condo was spotless and updated which made for an easy and comfortable stay. The lanai was lovely to sit on early mornings or later evenings to enjoy the view of the ocean and good weather. There were two AC units which easily cooled down the condo when you were there for long periods and overnight. It also worked well when you returned from your outings to get things comfortable. TV, cable and internet options were great. The communication with Jojo was effortless and she was quick to respond to any concerns or questions. I would highly recommend this condo and I look forward to a return next year. Mahalo nui loa…..

Beyond fantastic!

I've been vacationing in Kona for a couple of years now, and I believe I have found the perfect condo! The renovations are absolutely beautiful, and the location is perfect! Every morning after a swim at the pier (a short walk down the street) I would stop at the funky little coffee shop right outside the building and my mom and I would enjoy coffee and bagels on the beautifully furnished lanai, watching the waves crashing in. We found that the best place to watch the sunset was actually on the front steps of the building. Mom had the bed, which she found very cozy, and the pull out sofa bed was very comfortable! The condo is incredibly well-appointed, and felt like home the second we walked in! The condo was immaculate, spacious and very comfortable.The owner made sure that we had everything we needed and would reply to any questions quickly. Mom and I enjoyed it so much we have already booked for next year! I would recommend this condo with no hesitation! Aloha!

Kona Stay

I'd like to thank Joanna Netzke and Home Away for a very pleasant stay. The building was centrally located in Kona, and within walking distance to downtown restaurants, shops, and beaches, especially those located along Ali'i Drive. Ms. Netzke provided concise, easy-to-understand directions about the condo that made our stay very enjoyable and hassle-free. She responded quickly to my few questions in a professional and friendly manner. The amenities in the condo were well-maintained and the place itself was comfortable, clean, and the decorations aesthetically pleasing. I'd definitely recommend the condo to couples who want to stay in Kona. We used it as our "home base" for a number of day excursions to various parts of Hawai'i, from Mount Kilauea to Hilo. For those wishing to surf, the west side surfing beaches of Kona (e.g., Honl's, Banyans, Lyman's, etc.) are all within a short drive of the condo complex. A quick word on Kona itself. The town is fun and lively but still has a laid-back feel that distinguishes it from some of the larger and busier places in Hawai'i. I especially liked the fact that by sunset the town quieted down. This is not to say there isn't night life for those seeking such things. But there is something unabashedly appealing sitting at a quiet eatery, listening to the sounds of night broken only by a man strumming his ukulele.

Good location for all activities.Amenities in the condo were pretty good, except for the tiny bugs in the kitchen.Well stocked kitchen, however, a new coffee pot is in order.Bed was Wonderful! Very Comfortable!Having two bathrooms was a plus!We had difficulty with key lockbox access.Instructions for finding parking space were vague.Overall, a good housing choice.

Great location…close to many restaurants and shops

The unit was easily accessed and was well equipped and clean. Although we enjoyed our stay, the experience of booking through VRBO AND a 3rd party RE agency cost us more than we were quoted on VRBO’s booking site. Neither party would take responsibility for this non-communicated extra charge…buyer beware!!!

Great location on Kona

Perfect area for seeing all parts of Kona. Lots of restaurants and shopping in walking distance as well. Property was wet up well with all needed for a beach visit. Well maintained, and Kitchen has all you needed. I would have replaced the non-stick pot and pans though. Plenty of the non stick surface missing or ready to flake off. Other than that, we had a great stay.
