Perfect for traveling with pets

4 floor house that is very close to MIT and Harvard’s campuses. I traveled with my puppy and having a parking spot right outside the home was super convenient. The host even left us a water/food bowl with treats. The host was also super quick to respond to any messages. Great experience overall :)

I would say this was an "OK" option. Good parts: location is v. good if you need to be in Cambridge or w/in walking distance to Harvard or Central square. That was great. The kitchen was small but perfectly decent and very clean. I also appreciated that the pots and pans were not the cheapest, non-stick thing you can buy on Amazon (like so many rentals have), but were actual, SS pans in great condition. All of that was great. The downsides were that it just didn't feel that clean, and smelled strongly of "dog". There were a lot of old fabrics that probably contributed (worn looking couch pillows and blankets; carpets; and a lot of fabric in the very-very-small bathroom). The "main" bedroom smelled very strongly of dog, and the little bathroom had the strongest odor, I think b/c of the old and thick fabric curtain and worn looking bathmat. It just did not feel fresh at all. I slept on the top floor, as it felt the cleanest and had less of a smell. (the bed in the main bedroom had a lot of upholstery, from the headboard, to pillows/comforters, that again, did not feel fresh and probably contributed to the smell). The upstairs had a good full-length mirror and closet space for getting dressed. The sheets in general felt really cheap, and it was a pain to have to go down the spiral staircase to the bathroom. Not a huge deal but not for everyone. Hosts had lots of notices warning you about things you shouldn't do or you'd get charged. For the price, hotel next time.

My daughter attended a week long program at Harvard. I did not want her to stay on campus but wanted her to feel like a college student. This vrbo made it possible with a safe neighborhood only 15mins walk to campus. She had a place to study and feel like she was by “herself” with having the multi levels. Very clean space and responsive host. Smooth check in and check out! Thank you for adding to an amazing experience for her.
