Comfortable house that had everything we needed for our time in Boston. Carl’s communication was great and he was responsive to any needs we had. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at this house with a party of eight adults made up of family and friends, and it was the perfect home base for our Salem trip. The host had excellent communication from the start…providing clear directions on how to find the property, detailed information about the house itself, and thoughtful recommendations for things to do in the area.Any time we had a question, the host was very attentive and quick to respond, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed for a group of our size.Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again the next time we visit Salem!

Weekend family trip

We traveled with our children and parents for a graduation party in a neighboring town. The condo was perfect for a larger group. The condo was spacious and the deck was a nice place to hangout at night. We would definitely stay here again!

Comfortable and clean property

Excellent accomodations! The area was convenient and quiet. Our host was super responsive and accommodating to special requests. There were thoughtful touches, great coffee, a nice sundeck we enjoyed on the one sunny day of our stay, and comfortable beds. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect Location

My family and I took a trip to New England, and this rental was perfect! It was a short ride to Boston and Salem. snacks were provided, plenty of tea and coffee options, and cold waters were there for our arrival. Carl was quick to respond to questions and needs. Everything was clean, and the beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing Getaway! Five Stars.

My boyfriend and I had a fantastic time at Carl and Melissa’s! The apartment is very comfortable, spacious and equipped with all the amenities you could ask for, including a beautiful outdoor deck and luxurious bathroom. Great for couples or families - the space is big enough to easily fit a large group of people but the homey atmosphere makes it great for two as well. Convenient location close to the highway to easily access downtown Boston or surrounding areas. Will stay again - highly recommend!

Enjoyed our stay

We had a nice time during our stay here. Apartment is spacious and has many extra touches that make it very comfortable. Weather was warm so glad to have the mini A/C splits which worked great. Loved the outside deck for coffee in the morning. Owner communication was best I’ve had. Detailed location and checkin info made it easy and they also gave us lots of information about the area. Some traffic noise but not a problem. I would stay again.

Great stay

Travelled to Boston to drop off daughter who is attending college in the area. We stayed at Carl’s place and it was perfect for us. There were 8 of us and we all fit in comfortably. The home was clean and spacious. Loved the shower in the main room. The location of the property was perfect and neighborhood was safe and peaceful. Carl was great. He responded quickly every time I had a question. I would highly recommend this place for those visiting Boston.

Great apartment in Stoneham

The apartment was great for three couples who were in Boston for the marathon. It was as described. The location was excellent with the park and trails, the zoo and lots of places to eat in an easy distance. It was just a 10 minute drive to the subway, which took us right into downtown Boston. Our host was very helpful and communicative. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this apartment.

Ok for the main floor, not for 3 bedrooms

This was a convenient option for visiting family in melrose. The owner was nice and easy to communicate with. The main floor is perfectly fine and there's 1 bedroom there. But the 2 bedrooms upstairs aren't ideal. It was very drafty and cold and the mini split heaters didn't really work. The bathroom was poorly laid out and hot water was hard to come by in the sink. The shower fixture was very loose. It just needs work up there to charge this as a 3 bedroom.

Great big Victorian. The Apartment was beautifully updated. Great kitchen, comfy beds, plenty of room, access to Patio, close to Boston, Salem. Great communication with owner.

Girls Weekend Away!

My sisters and I stayed at Carl and Melissa's condo for a long weekend and couldn't have enjoyed ourselves more. It's proximity to the city was exactly what we wanted. We enjoy Encore, a comedy club, dining and dancing! I also took a long walk each morning around Stoneham exploring the neighborhoods. The condo itself was clean, cheerful and stocked with everything we could need. Carl and Melissa were great communicators and fabulous renters. We're planning another trip after the holidays and hope to stay again!

Spacious, comfortable, well located

This was the perfect property for our short visit to Boston. Great location, super close for visits to downtown, Cambridge and Fenway. And also far enough away from town for quiet, peaceful evenings. The home was beautifully furnished, well equipped and check in/out was effortless. Would definitely stay there if in the area aagain. We also appreciated the detailed instructions, including informative labels on anything in the house we might have a question about.

Exploring Boston and surrounding areas.

It was a comfortable place to stay with some restaurants and convenience shopping in walking distance. Two favorites were Gaetono and Fusion. An easy drive into Boston and Salem. Close enough for a day trip to Portland harbor area.

Graduation Celebration

We traveled from Maine to Massachusetts to celebrate our son's graduation from Bentley University. We slept 7 adults very comfortably. There was a full size mattress available that we just slid onto the living room floor for our son. We had a small celebration with friends and family following graduation. The host was very generous allowing us to park extra cars. Very clean comfortable and perfect layout for small get together. The host thought of everything. Excellent communication and instructions. Very nice quiet,comfortable neighborhood. Highly recommend.
