We’ll be back! The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay (extra bedding, towels (beach too), tp, coffee pods, dishwasher pods, etc). The beds are comfy and the extra garage space is great for kiddos.

Excellent place to stay

Excellent rental. The host was great in communication always answered quickly. The rental was clean and was great to stay in. I highly recommend staying here you won’t be disappointed.

When Checked in, we were slightly disappointed with the size and age of home, however when we started to make it our temporarily home, we found the owner has spent attention to every corner, the beds were super comfortable. We especially enjoyed sitting at the patio area with a cup of coffee watching the beautifully maintained yard and humming birds flying around. Thank you Melisa for your quick response to our inquiries.

The pictures that our online are spot on!!! Our daughter lives about 15 min from this house. We have 2 grandsons, that stayed with us for a couple nights and absolutely loved the garage space. They had a blast. Our two youngest daughters came with us and loved the space of having there own beds and rooms. The house was equipped with everything you could need. We will definitely try and rebook this house in the future. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

We stayed here to move my son into SDSU. The location was very convenient and we were impressed with the cleanliness of the property. We would stay here again when we come to visit.

perfect spot for our girls weekend!

this house was perfect for a weekend getaway girls trip. hanging out in the backyard and game room were a lovely way to start off our trip. and the indoor living spaces were comfy, cozy and clean. most destinations we visited in SD were around 15-20 mins away. we were very happy with this rental and overall experience!

The house was very clean, and super cute. We had a lovely movie night and a good nights sleep to play our game the next day. Would absolutely rent again!

Charming La Mesa stay!

If you're looking for a place to stay in La Mesa, stay here! We booked this VRBO for a work trip, and it was perfect for three colleagues. Each room was spacious with comfortable bed and plenty of storage space. The home was in a quiet and safe neighborhood. We enjoyed taking a few walks during our stay! Also, the hosts were very accommodating and were quick to respond to questions. We will definitely return when we are back in La Mesa!

Perfect place for an overnight stay

We stayed here during my daughter’s college graduation. It was exactly what we wanted. The house is clean and comfortable, and is even nicer in person than pictured. We were conveniently close to the university, and the neighborhood is quiet and feels safe. Melissa and David were very responsive and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Home!

Home was very nice and put together. It looked even better in person than it did in the pictures. We had a great time. The neighbors gave us a bit of trouble but it was not anything we could not handle in a respectful manner.

David and Melissa were fantastic hosts! Their communication was clear, prompt, and incredibly helpful from start to finish. They graciously allowed us to arrive early since we had a morning flight, which made the day so much easier.The home itself is cozy but very clean and nicely updated. Although we didn’t end up cooking, the kitchen was fully stocked with cookware, kitchenware, and even some spices and essentials — it had everything you’d need to prepare meals comfortably. My husband and mom especially enjoyed the morning Keurig, which was a great touch. We all slept well in the comfortable beds (we didn’t use one of the bedrooms), which made for restful nights during our stay.The backyard is spacious and relaxing — a great place to unwind. The game room was a huge bonus for us. We were in town to visit our son at SDSU, and one evening we had his roommates over for dinner and games. It was the perfect setup to spend time together and get to know the crew!Check-out was simple with minimal requests, which we really appreciated. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful visit!

From the hosts, to the property, to the amenities- 100/10!!!

WOW! I have stayed at many, many places and this hands down was the best experience I have ever had with one of these rental services. The hosts went above and beyond constantly and showed so much kindness and genuine care. It was such a lovely experience dealing with Mel and Dave and you can tell they take pride in what they do. As far as the house and property goes- it was amazing!! The master bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. The kitchen was fully equipped and there were plenty of the daily necessities. With the pre-approval of the host discussed upon booking- we had a small backyard gathering and it was amazing!!!! I didn’t need to rent anything as there was enough seating for over 17 people with plenty more spots!!! There was ping pong, corn hole, a garage TV / “man cave”, along with tiki torches, outdoor lighting, and a fire pit. It was seriously perfect. We cannot say enough good things about this listing!! Thanks so much guys!

This house is as a great place to stay for my family! The kids loved all of the games and activities there were to do during our downtime. The house was very clean and well stocked. The owner was very responsive when I had questions and the check in and out was super easy. The neighborhood was also very nice. I would definitely recommend this place for families to stay at!

Really enjoyed our stay here. Clean and very well stocked kitchen. Walk-in shower was a plus. Loved the game room and the outdoor patio area. Very convenient to getting everywhere in San Diego. Quiet neighborhood. Great communication with host throughout the booking, check-in, and checkout.
