Discover Foreverwater, our cottage by the creek, nestled on 17 wooded acres along side Barren Fork Creek minutes from Leipers Fork Village with direct access to the historic dirt path back roads of eastern Hickman County, Lyles TN. This writer's retreat was once home to guitar maker and author, R. O. Barton (The Tucker Novels).

Leverage this fully furnished home as your seasonal escape to the country, your home between homes, or as your rural office complete with high speed broadband internet. Two large bedrooms, each with their own large cedar closets and full baths, flow into an open plan common area with a large stone fireplace, spacious living room, and a modern eat-in country kitchen. Natural woods and stone abound within this berm house inspired by the architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright. This private setting offers easy access to I-840; is central to Franklin, Fairview, Dickson; and sits just 45 minutes west of Nashville.

A little slice of heaven

Stayed here for a few days to celebrate my birthday. We were lucky enough to have some beautiful weather so we could sit outside and enough the peace and tranquility of the surroundings. The cottage was well appointed with everything you needed for cooking and bed linen was of high quality. Close to Leipers Fork which is worth a visit. We'd stay here again if we're ever in the area.

Weekend Getaway

The place was really nice. It’s a bit remote, which is why I gave the location 3.stars. But it was just what I was looking for. The master bathroom was huge, and really nice. it even had a urinal, which I really appreciated. The creek was nice too. It was just what I was looking for.

Unique, Hidden Hideaway

This is a great place to enjoy some “unplugged” time. Rural setting is breathtaking! The sound of the rolling creek is relaxing. The quiet atmosphere is a much needed break. If you just want some R&R, I recommend. We already want to come back!!

Very nice stay in an out of the way location. We enjoyed the view from the wall to wall windows of the creek. Our granddaughter enjoyed the fire pit. Well appointed stay with a few small (good) surprises.

Foreverwater was definitely a relaxing and peaceful stay. It was a very clean property, very welcoming, fully stocked with everything you could need, comfortable beds, spacious rooms, etc. A must stay and unique experience. Thank you for an amazing and restful stay.

We were in town for wedding so we had a short stay. The house was decorated nice and was very clean. Great view of the creek and we enjoyed the outside fire pit! Would recommend!

The cottage was incredibly clean and well-appointed, with every detail thoughtfully considered to ensure comfort. From the cozy decor to the fully stocked kitchen.One of the standout features was the beautiful creek running through the property, adding a peaceful and calming atmosphere to the entire stay. The host was exceptional—responsive, communicative, and genuinely attentive to our needs. It was clear they put a lot of effort into making sure guests felt welcome.A lovely surprise was the thoughtful addition of snacks and drinks upon our arrival. After a long car ride, it was such a welcome sight.Overall, this was an incredibly relaxing and enjoyable getaway, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

Peaceful stay in the woods

Great stay with amazing views!

My family and I were impressed as soon as we pulled up to the gate. This property is beautiful and well maintained. The creek flowing through the yard was fun to play in and the house was quite accommodating. We plan to make this our place to stay whenever we are in the area.

Great place. Yet, best place we ever stayed through Vrbo. Clean, secluded. All toiletries, snacks, coffee provided……I did not agreed with all the requirements before check out. I believe the cleaneg fee should be enough to take out trachea/ load dishwasher, yams all other things required.

It was absolutely beautiful. The photos do not completely capture the beautiful of the outdoors and the inside of the house. It was very clean and well kept, the shower is amazing, you will find peace and tranquility there.

My wife and I just celebrated our anniversary and wanted a quiet day away from "life". The house and property were perfect! We sat outside and read with the sound of the creek in the background. Everything about the house was ideal. From the cleanliness to the layout, it was ideal.

Anniversary Getaway

My husband and I celebrated our 7 year anniversary with a night away at this cabin. It was so restful and peaceful. All the decor and touches invited you in to enjoy your time. The view and master bathroom were amazing. The bed was comfortable and we were able to slow down, enjoy the view, the fire pit and the stay. We definitely want to go back!

Incredible location

Such an awesome place to stay as a family. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the abundance of space and the proximity to the river. The house was perfect, and the master bath is legendary. In addition, the communication from the property manager was impeccable and they were ready for us ahead of schedule which was a welcome surprise as we were traveling with tired children. This will definitely be our first choice if we are in the area again.
